Chess Set User Guide (For Adults)
Whats Included: - 1 x Folding Chess Board (8x8 squares) - 16 x White Chess Pieces (1 King, 1 Queen, 2 Rooks, 2 Knights, 2 Bishops, 8 Pawns) - 16 x Black Chess Pieces (same as above) - 1 x User Guide (this booklet)
Objective of the Game: Checkmate your opponent's king - a position where the king is under attack and cannot escape.
Setup Instructions: 1. Position the board with a white square in the bottom-right corner. 2. Place pieces as follows:
- Back row (left to right): Rook, Knight, Bishop, Queen, King, Bishop, Knight, Rook. - Front row: All pawns. - Note: The white queen goes on a white square, and the black queen on a black square.
How Each Piece Moves: King: 1 square in any direction. Cannot move into check. Queen: Any number of squares in any direction. Rook: Any number of squares horizontally or vertically. Bishop: Any number of squares diagonally. Knight: Moves in an L-shape: 2 squares in one direction, then 1 square perpendicular. Can jump over pieces.

Chess Set User Guide (For Adults)
Pawn: Moves forward 1 square; optionally 2 squares on its first move. Captures diagonally. Can promote on reaching the last row.
Basic Rules: - Check: A king is under threat. - Checkmate: No way to escape check = game over. - Stalemate: A draw if no legal moves and king isn't in check. - Castling: Special move between king and rook (if neither has moved). - En Passant: Special pawn capture under specific conditions.
Care Instructions: - Store pieces in a dry place. - Wipe with a soft cloth if dusty. - Avoid prolonged sunlight on wooden boards.
