General Information & Safety
This document provides installation instructions for the Delta Light Logic 40 R Inox. Please read all instructions carefully before beginning installation.
Safety Precautions:
- The luminaire is suitable for Safety Extra Low Voltage (SELV) installations (below 50 V-AC / 120 V-DC).
- Ensure correct disposal of the product as Waste Electrical & Electronic Equipment.
- The luminaire is protected against dust particles and water ingress (IP67), suitable for submersion up to 1m for less than 30 minutes.
- Install only in rooms where direct contact with water is impossible.
- The light source (LED only) can only be replaced by a professional.
- The product contains a light source of energy efficiency class F.
- Avoid prolonged staring into the luminaire at a distance closer than 0.227m.
- Pressure load capacity: 500kg (~5kN).
- Rated maximum surface temperature: 50°C.
Compliance: The products comply with the requirements of applicable European Directives and are intended for sale in the European Economic Area. They also comply with Maroccan Directives and Eurasian Customs Union Directives.
Installation Steps
The installation process involves several steps, illustrated in the provided diagrams. Follow these steps carefully:
- Step 1: Prepare the installation site. (Diagram shows a hand pointing to a location).
- Step 2: Insert the luminaire body into the prepared opening. (Diagram shows the luminaire being inserted into a ceiling/ground opening).
- Step 3: Connect the wires. Ensure correct polarity (+/-). Use appropriate connectors. (Diagram shows wire connections with 8mm stripped ends).
- Step 4: Secure the wire connections. (Diagram shows wires being inserted into connectors).
- Step 5: Complete wire connections. (Diagram shows completed wire connections).
- Step 6: Apply heat shrink tubing to the connections. (Diagram shows heat shrink tubing being applied and heated).
- Step 7: Ensure connections are properly insulated and protected, with a minimum distance of 20mm from the luminaire body. (Diagram shows heat shrink tubing and distance markers).
- Step 8: Final placement of the luminaire. (Diagram shows the luminaire fully installed).
- Step 9: Electrical connection to the power supply. This step details the wiring from the luminaire to a junction box and power source, including recommended cable lengths (MAX 50m) and specific component numbers (e.g., 13910 0010, 216 12 00). - Step 10: Final assembly and testing. (Diagram shows the finished luminaire with a cover being placed on).
