The intrinsically safe IRwin SX model is certified for hazardous locations (Zone 0/Class I Division 1), enabling confident operation. It detects methane concentrations as low as 1 ppm, exceeding the PHMSA-specified 5 ppm threshold, aiding compliance and ensuring high accuracy.

Distinguish Swamp Gas from Real Leaks On the Spot

IRwin utilizes a built-in gas chromatograph (GC) and sensor combination to instantly determine if the gas is natural gas or swamp gas, even with ethane levels as low as 0.5%. This provides fast, confident answers without lab testing or guesswork.

AUTOMATIC ADJUSTMENTS FOR ACCURATE READINGS

Whether detecting a tiny leak or full gas flow, IRwin automatically adjusts using its Universal+ mode, switching between PPM, %LEL, and Vol% to provide accurate, readable results instantly. No manual toggling is required, ensuring precise data.

ACCURATE BAR HOLD READINGS IN SECONDS

The built-in CGI (Combustible Gas Indicator) function allows for accurate bar hole readings in just 15 seconds, eliminating the need for a separate device. This leads to quicker leak localization, fewer tools to manage, and less equipment to transport. By integrating multiple survey functions into one easy-to-use instrument, IRwin saves time, reduces equipment costs, and simplifies daily operations.

EFFORTLESS DOCUMENTATION WITH BUILT-IN GPS AND A CHECK-IN APP

IRwin handles paperwork, allowing users to focus on the survey. The entire route is automatically tracked via built-in GPS and integrated into GIS systems for easy mapping and verification. All survey data is transferred wirelessly via Bluetooth® to a smartphone or computer, eliminating cables, manual note-taking, and data loss risks. The IRwin Check-in App enables users to create and send reports directly from the field in seconds.

PINPOINTING LEAKS WITH FEWER BAR HOLES

IRwin's powerful vacuum bell draws gas through asphalt and other paved surfaces, enabling precise leak pinpointing with fewer bar holes.

THE IRWIN INTELLIGENCE

To prevent misleading measurements or false alarms, IRwin features an infrared sensor combined with a patented gas filter. This system also prevents interference from water vapor, exhaust gases, and other VOCs.
