FCC STATEMENT

This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for Class B digital devices, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:

CAUTION: Changes or modifications to this equipment not expressly approved by NAD Electronics for compliance could void the user's authority to operate this equipment.

This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules / Industry Canada licence-exempt RSS standard(s). Operation is subject to the following two conditions: 1. This device may not cause harmful interference, and 2. This device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.

This equipment complies with IC radiation exposure limits set forth for an uncontrolled environment. Under Industry Canada regulations, this radio transmitter may only operate using an antenna of a type and maximum (or lesser) gain approved for the transmitter by Industry Canada. To reduce potential radio interference to other users, the antenna type and its gain should be so chosen that the equivalent isotropically radiated power (e.i.r.p.) is not more than that necessary for successful communication.

To prevent electric shock, match the wide blade of the plug to the wide slot and insert fully.

The marking and rating plate can be found at the rear panel of the apparatus.

To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not expose this apparatus to rain or moisture. The apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing, and no objects filled with liquids, such as vases, shall be placed on the apparatus.

Battery shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire, or the like.

Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced. Replace only with the same or equivalent type.

Battery cannot be subjected to high or low extreme temperatures, low air pressure at high altitude during use, storage, or transportation.

Replacement of a battery with an incorrect type can result in an explosion or the leakage of flammable liquid or gas.

Disposal of a battery into fire or a hot oven, or mechanically crushing or cutting of a battery, can result in an explosion.

Leaving a battery in an extremely high temperature surrounding environment can result in an explosion or the leakage of flammable liquid or gas.

A battery subjected to extremely low air pressure may result in an explosion or the leakage of flammable liquid or gas.

An appliance with a protective earth terminal should be connected to a mains outlet with a protective earth connection.

The device for operation in the band 5150–5250 MHz is for indoor use only to reduce the potential for harmful interference to co-channel mobile satellite systems.

MPE REMINDER: This equipment complies with FCC RF radiation exposure limits set forth for an uncontrolled environment. To satisfy FCC/IC RF exposure requirements, a separation distance of 20 cm or more should be maintained between the antenna of this device and persons during device operation. To ensure compliance, operations at closer than this distance are not recommended.

IF IN DOUBT CONSULT A COMPETENT ELECTRICIAN.

Identification of Controls

Rear View

ATTENTION: Ensure the M10 V3 is powered off or unplugged from the mains power outlet before making any connections. It is advisable to power down or unplug all associated components while making or breaking any signal or AC power connections.

Diagram Description: The rear panel features a layout of various input, output, and power connectors, numbered 1 through 14.

  1. IR IN: Input for an IR (infrared) repeater or IR output of another compatible device for remote control.
  2. +12V TRIGGER OUT: Designed to control external devices with a +12V DC TRIGGER IN. Connect using a 3.5mm male plug cable. Output is 12V when ON, 0V when OFF or in standby.
  3. PHONO IN: Input for a Moving Magnet (MM) phono cartridge. Connect your turntable's RCA leads here. Connect the ground lead wire to PHONO GND (item 4) if applicable.
  4. PHONO GND: Ground terminal for connecting phono sources like preamplifiers and turntables. Unscrew the terminal, insert the lead, and tighten to secure.
  5. LINE IN: Input for line-level sources (CD player, tuner, etc.). Use dual RCA-to-RCA cables. Sources appear as "Line Input" in the BluOS App.
  6. PRE OUT: Use dual RCA-to-RCA cables to connect to the analog audio input of amplifiers or receivers, allowing the M10 V3 to function as a preamplifier.
  7. SUBW (SUBWOOFER) OUT 1, OUT 2: Connect to the low-level input of powered subwoofers. Frequencies below the selected crossover point (default 80Hz) are routed here.
  8. COAX IN/OPTICAL IN: Connect to the coaxial and optical digital outputs of sources like CD/BD/DVD players, digital cable boxes, or tuners.
  9. HDMI eARC: Connect to a TV supporting HDMI Control (CEC) and Audio Return Channel (ARC) or Enhanced Audio Return Channel (eARC). Use an Ultra High Speed HDMI cable for best results. With ARC/eARC, the M10 V3 will output audio from the TV.
