12. Refer all servicing to qualified personnel. Servicing is required when the apparatus has been damaged in any way, such as power-supply cord or plug is damaged, or objects have fallen into the apparatus, the apparatus does not operate normally, or has been dropped.

Important Precautions

• Keep the product away from fire and heat sources.
• Do NOT place naked flame sources, such as lighted candles, on or near the product.
• Do NOT make unauthorized alterations to this product.
• Do NOT use a power inverter with this product.
• The speaker wire and interconnect cables included with this system are not approved for in-wall installation. Please check your local building codes for the correct type of wire and cable required for in-wall installation.
• Where the main plug or an appliance coupler is used as the disconnect device, the disconnect device shall remain readily operable.
• Use at altitude less than 2000 meters only.
• Due to ventilation requirements, KubeSound does not recommend placing the product in a confined space such as a wall cavity or an enclosed cabinet.
• Do not place or install the product near any heat sources, such as fireplaces, radiators, heat registers or other apparatus (including amplifiers) that produce heat.
• Danger of explosion or leakage of flammable liquid or gas if battery is incorrectly replaced. Replace only with the same or equivalent battery.
• Disposal of a battery into a fire or hot oven, or mechanically crushing or cutting of the battery can result in an explosion.
• Leaving a battery in an extremely high temperature environment can result in an explosion or the leakage of flammable liquid or gas.
• Battery cannot be subjected to high or low extreme temperatures, or low air pressure at high altitude during storage or transportation.
• A battery subjected to extremely low air pressure may result in an explosion or the leakage of flammable liquid or gas.
• The device for operation in the band 5150–5250 MHz is only for indoor use to reduce the potential for harmful interference to co-channel mobile satellite systems.

Quick Start Guide

01 // TURN KUBE ON

Press and hold the Power button for up to 5 seconds until first lights illuminate. Wait for KUBE to start up (about 30 seconds). Once complete, the KUBE startup sound plays and all button lights will illuminate.

02 // GET CONNECTED VIA WIFI AND UPDATE FIRMWARE

Download and open the latest KubeSync App on your device. Short press the Connect button until white to enter Wi-Fi mode. Press and hold the Connect button for 2 seconds. The Connect LED begins to blink white/red, indicating it is broadcasting the setup network, and you will hear an audio confirmation. When the unit connects to a Wi-Fi network, the Connect button and LED should become solid white, and you will hear an audio confirmation. The unit will remember the last Wi-Fi network after powering off and on. Follow the instructions on the KubeSync App to connect your Kube4 to the network. Once connected, the App will automatically search for the latest firmware and begin installation.

03 // GET CONNECTED VIA BLUETOOTH

Short press the Connect button until blue to enter Bluetooth mode. Press and hold the Connect button for 2 seconds. The Connect LED begins to blink blue/red, indicating it is in pairing mode, and you will hear an audio confirmation. When the unit connects to a Bluetooth device, the Connect button and LED should become solid blue, and you will hear an audio confirmation.
