Digital Operator's Manual

The Digital Operator's Manual describes the functions and operation of the vehicle and the multimedia system. It can be accessed via the multimedia system.

Note: The Digital Operator's Manual is deactivated while driving for safety reasons.

General notes

Protection of the environment

? ENVIRONMENTAL NOTE: Environmental damage due to operating conditions and personal driving style. Operate your vehicle in an environmentally responsible manner. Recommendations include:

  • Ensure correct tire pressure.
  • Do not carry unnecessary weight.
  • Adhere to service intervals.
  • Have maintenance work carried out at a qualified specialist workshop.
  • Do not depress the accelerator pedal when starting the engine.
  • Do not warm up the vehicle while stationary.
  • Drive carefully and maintain a suitable distance.
  • Avoid frequent, sudden acceleration and braking.
  • Change gear in good time.
  • Switch off the vehicle in stationary traffic (e.g., ECO start/stop function).
  • Drive in a fuel-efficient manner, observing the ECO display.

It is recommended to re-use or recycle materials. Environmental guidelines and regulations must be observed.

Genuine Mercedes-Benz parts

? ENVIRONMENTAL NOTE: Environmental damage due to not using recycled reconditioned components. Mercedes-Benz AG offers recycled reconditioned components with the same quality as new parts. Use recycled reconditioned components and parts from Mercedes-Benz AG.

? NOTE: Impairment of operating efficiency of restraint systems from installing accessory parts or from repairs or welding. Do not install accessory parts in areas where restraint system components are located (doors, pillars, seats, cockpit, etc.). Do not carry out repairs or welding in these areas. Have accessory parts retrofitted at a qualified specialist workshop.

You could jeopardize operating safety if you use unapproved parts, tires, wheels, or accessories. Only use genuine Mercedes-Benz parts or parts of equal quality, and parts specifically approved for your vehicle model. Genuine Mercedes-Benz parts are subject to strict quality inspections.

Always specify the vehicle identification number (VIN) when ordering genuine Mercedes-Benz parts.

Operator's Manual

This Operator's Manual and the Digital Operator's Manual describe the models and equipment available at the time of printing, including country-specific and future availability. Your vehicle may not be equipped with all features described.

The original purchase agreement lists your vehicle's equipment at the time of delivery. Consult an authorized Mercedes-Benz Center for questions about equipment and operation. Keep the Operator's Manual, Supplement, further supplementary documents, and Maintenance Booklet in the vehicle.

Mercedes me app

Notes about the on-demand feature: Various functions (on-demand feature) can be activated subsequently via Mercedes me after purchasing the vehicle. Information is available at an authorized Mercedes-Benz Center.

Activating on-demand feature using Mercedes me: Requirements include GPS reception and linking the vehicle to the Mercedes me user account. Order the feature via the Mercedes me Store. Activation occurs when operating the vehicle. Speeding up activation involves switching the vehicle off and locking it, then unlocking and switching it on again after about 2 minutes.

Service and vehicle operation

Vehicle operation outside the USA or Canada: Service points or replacement parts may not be immediately available. Unleaded fuel may not be available for vehicles with a catalytic converter. Fuel may have a low octane number. Unsuitable fuel can cause engine damage.

Information on the European Delivery Program is available from authorized Mercedes-Benz service centers.

Roadside Assistance: The Mercedes-Benz Roadside Assistance Program offers technical help 24/7. Contact 1-800-FOR-MERCedes (USA) or 1-800-387-0100 (Canada).

Change of address or ownership: Notify Mercedes-Benz via the "Notification of address change" form or the Customer Assistance Center. If selling the vehicle, leave all literature in the vehicle. If purchasing a used vehicle, send the "Notice of Purchase of Used Car" or contact Customer Service.

Operating safety

⚠️ WARNING: Risk of accident due to malfunctions or system failures: Always have prescribed service, maintenance, and repairs carried out at a qualified specialist workshop.

⚠️ WARNING: Risk of accident or injury due to incorrect modifications on electronic component parts: Modification of electronic components, software, or wiring could impair function and safety. Never tamper with electrical/electronic components or their software. Have all work on these components carried out at a qualified specialist workshop.

⚠️ WARNING: Risk of fire due to flammable materials on hot parts of the exhaust system: Flammable material may ignite on hot exhaust parts. Regularly check the vehicle underside, especially when driving off-road. Remove trapped plants or flammable material. Consult a qualified specialist workshop if damage occurs.

? NOTE: Damage to the vehicle due to driving too fast and impacts to the underbody or suspension components: Risk of damage from grounding, driving too fast over obstacles, or heavy objects striking the underbody. Damage may not be visible but can lead to component failure or impaired crash energy absorption. Flammable materials can collect and ignite. Have the vehicle checked and repaired immediately at a qualified specialist workshop, or pull over and stop immediately if driving safety is impaired.

Declaration of conformity for wireless vehicle components

USA: "Radio based devices of this vehicle comply with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions: 1) These devices may not cause harmful interference, and 2) These devices must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation. Changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user's authority to operate the equipment."

Canada: "This vehicle contains licence-exempt transmitter(s)/receiver(s) that comply with Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada's licence-exempt RSS(s). Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) These devices may not cause interference. (2) These devices must accept any interference, including interference that may cause undesired operation of the devices." (French translation provided in original text).

Diagnostics connection

The diagnostics connection is a technical interface for repair, maintenance, and data readout. Diagnostic devices should only be connected in a qualified specialist workshop.

⚠️ WARNING: Risk of accident due to connecting devices to the diagnostics connection: Connecting devices may impair vehicle systems and operating safety. Only use and connect products approved by an authorized Mercedes-Benz Center.

Connecting unauthorized devices can cause malfunctions, permanent damage, and reset emissions monitoring information, potentially causing the vehicle to fail emissions inspections. Battery may also discharge.

Qualified specialist workshop

An authorized Mercedes-Benz Center is a qualified specialist workshop with the necessary skills, tools, and qualifications for correct work on your vehicle, especially for safety-relevant tasks. Mercedes-Benz recommends a Mercedes-Benz service center.

Correct use of the vehicle

Leave warning stickers in position. Observe safety notes, technical data, traffic rules, and laws.

Notes for persons with electronic medical aids

Mercedes-Benz AG cannot completely rule out interaction between vehicle systems and electronic medical aids (e.g., pacemakers). Magnetic fields may be generated by vehicle components. This could cause medical aids to malfunction or adverse health effects.

Observe the medical aid manufacturer's notes. If uncertain, contact the manufacturer or your doctor. Mercedes-Benz AG recommends using only few electrical vehicle systems and maintaining distance from components if there is continuing uncertainty. Have repairs and maintenance in areas of live voltage, transmission antenna, or multimedia/sound systems carried out at a qualified specialist workshop.

Problems with your vehicle

If you experience a problem, especially one affecting safe operation, contact an authorized Mercedes-Benz Center immediately. If the problem is not resolved satisfactorily, discuss it again with the center or contact Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC or Mercedes-Benz Canada, Inc.

Reporting safety defects

USA only: If you believe your vehicle has a defect causing a crash, injury, or death, inform the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) in addition to Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC. Contact NHTSA via their Vehicle Safety Hotline (1-888-327-4236) or website (https://www.safercar.gov/).

Canada only: Inform Transport Canada in addition to Mercedes-Benz Canada Inc. Contact Transport Canada via their Defect Investigations and Recalls Division (1-800-333-0510) or websites (https://www.tc.gc.ca/recalls, https://www.tc.gc.ca/rappels).

Limited Warranty

? NOTE: Damage to the vehicle arising from violation of operating instructions is not covered by warranty. Follow instructions on proper operation and possible vehicle damage.

QR code for rescue card

QR codes are located in the fuel filler flap and on the B-pillar. Rescue services can use these to quickly find the appropriate rescue card for your vehicle, containing vital information like electric line routing.

Data storage

Data processing in the vehicle: Electronic control units process data from sensors, generate data, and exchange data among themselves. Some units are critical for safe operation, others assist driving, and others provide convenience or infotainment functions.

Personal data: Each vehicle is identified by a VIN. Data generated or processed may be attributable to a person, potentially revealing driving behavior, location, routes, or usage patterns.

Legal requirements: Manufacturers may be legally obliged to provide data to governmental entities upon request, e.g., during criminal investigations. Governmental entities may also read data from the vehicle.

Operational data: Data regarding vehicle operation processed by control units, such as speed, acceleration, sensor readings, system status, malfunctions, and technical events. This data is generally temporary but may be stored for technical documentation, diagnosis, warranty claims, quality assurance, and recalls. Data can be read out via the diagnostics connection by service network employees or third parties.

Convenience and infotainment functions: Settings (seat, steering wheel, climate) and data (multimedia, contacts, navigation) can be stored locally or on connected devices. These can be deleted by the user. Data is transmitted to third parties only at the user's request, especially for online services.

Smartphone integration (e.g., Android Auto, Apple CarPlay): Connects smartphones to control vehicle functions and output smartphone audio/images. Limited data transfer to the smartphone occurs (position, status). Data processing is determined by the app provider.

Online services: Wireless network connections enable data exchange for online services and applications. Manufacturer services are described on their website, with data protection information provided. Third-party services are the responsibility of the provider, subject to their terms and conditions.

Data protection rights: Entitlements vary by country and vehicle equipment. Further information is available on the manufacturer's website or through services. Data stored locally can be read out at a workshop.

MBUX multimedia system/Mercedes me connect: May compile additional data on vehicle operation, usage, and location. Refer to the MBUX section and Mercedes me connect Terms and Conditions for details.

Event data recorders (USA only): Records data related to vehicle dynamics and safety systems during crash or near-crash situations (e.g., airbag deployment, impact). Data includes system operation, seat belt status, pedal use, and speed. EDR data is recorded only in non-trivial crash situations; no personal data is recorded by the EDR itself. Other parties may combine EDR data with personally identifying data. Special equipment is required to read EDR data. Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC disclaims liability for unauthorized extraction. EDR data is not shared without owner consent, except as required by law (e.g., subpoenas).

Occupant safety

Restraint system

The restraint system includes seat belts, airbags, child restraint systems, and child seat securing systems. It helps prevent occupants from contacting vehicle interior parts and reduces forces in an accident. Proper seat belt use is crucial.

⚠️ WARNING: Risk of injury or death due to modifications to the restraint system: Never alter restraint system parts, wiring, or electronic components. Have modifications for persons with disabilities done at an authorized Mercedes-Benz Center.

Restraint system functionality: A self-test occurs when the vehicle is switched on; the ? restraint system warning lamp lights up and then goes out if functional.

Malfunctioning restraint system: If the ? warning lamp does not light up, or lights up continuously/repeatedly, a malfunction has occurred. ⚠️ WARNING: Risk of injury due to malfunctions: Components may activate unintentionally or not deploy as planned. Have the system checked and repaired immediately at a qualified specialist workshop.

Function in an accident: Activation depends on impact severity and type (frontal, rear, side, rollover). Components can activate independently. The front passenger airbag deploys only if the PASSENGER AIR BAG OFF indicator lamp is off.

⚠️ WARNING: Risk of burns from hot airbag components: Do not touch deployed airbag parts. Have deployed airbags replaced ASAP at a qualified specialist workshop. Mercedes-Benz recommends towing the vehicle after an accident if an Emergency Tensioning Device is triggered or an airbag deploys.

Airbag deployment effects: A bang is heard, and powder may be released. The powder is generally not hazardous but may cause breathing difficulties for those with asthma. Leave the vehicle or open windows if breathing difficulties occur. Airbags and Emergency Tensioning Devices contain perchlorate material requiring special handling/disposal.

Seat belts

Always fasten seat belts correctly before starting a journey. A correctly worn seat belt provides the best protection.

⚠️ WARNING: Risk of injury or death due to incorrectly fastened seat belt: An incorrectly fastened belt cannot protect and can cause injuries. Ensure all occupants have belts fastened correctly and are sitting properly. Observe correct driver's seat position.

Correct seat belt use: Belt must not be twisted, fit tightly across the body, routed across the shoulder and low across hips. Avoid bulky clothing. Never route the lap belt across the abdomen. Pregnant women must be particularly careful. Never secure objects with a seat belt. Only one person per belt. No objects between person and seat.

Seat belts on front passenger and rear seats have a child seat safety feature. Activate/deactivate as per instructions. Observe child transport notes.

⚠️ WARNING: Risk of injury or death due to an incorrect seat position: Seat belt protection is compromised if the backrest is not nearly vertical. You could slip under the belt. Adjust seat properly, ensure backrest is vertical, and shoulder belt is across the shoulder.

⚠️ WARNING: Risk of injury or death when additional restraint systems are not used for persons with smaller stature: Persons under 5 ft (1.50 m) tall need a suitable additional restraint system. Always secure them in one.

⚠️ WARNING: Risk of injury or death due to damaged or modified seat belts: Damaged or modified belts, buckles, anchorages, or tensioning devices may fail in an accident. Have seat belts checked immediately after an accident. Only use Mercedes-Benz approved belts.

⚠️ WARNING: Risk of injury or death from deployed pyrotechnic Emergency Tensioning Devices: Deployed devices are no longer operational. Have them replaced immediately at a qualified specialist workshop.

? NOTE: Damage caused by trapping the seat belt: Ensure unused seat belts are fully retracted to prevent trapping in doors or seats.

Fastening seat belts: Engage seat belt tongue into the buckle. A seat belt can only provide the best protection if worn correctly.

⚠️ WARNING: Deployment of restraint system components when front passenger seat is unoccupied: Components may deploy unnecessarily if the seat belt is buckled and the seat is unoccupied. Only buckle belts as intended. Observe notes on storage areas.

Seat belt adjustment function (PRE-SAFE®): May apply tightening force. Activate/deactivate via multimedia system: 4 ➡️ 5 Settings ➡️ 5 Vehicle ➡️ Activate/deactivate Belt Adjustment.

Seat belt warning function: The ? seat belt warning lamp reminds occupants to wear belts. It lights up for six seconds at startup and may sound a tone. It stays on if speed exceeds 15 mph (25 km/h) and a belt is unfastened, or if a belt is unfastened while driving.

Airbags

Overview of airbags: Includes driver's knee, driver's, front passenger, front passenger knee, window curtain, and side airbags. Locations are marked with the AIRBAG symbol. They supplement seat belt protection.

Potential protection: Knee airbag (thigh, knee, lower leg), Driver/front passenger airbag (head, ribcage), Window curtain airbag (head), Side airbag (ribcage, pelvis).

Activating/deactivating acoustic locking verification signal: Multimedia system: 4 ➡️ 5 Settings ➡️ 5 Vehicle ➡️ Activate/deactivate Acoustic Lock.

Arming/disarming the panic alarm: Press button 1 for approx. 1 second to activate (visual/audible alarm). Press again or press start/stop button to deactivate. A SmartKey must be detected in the vehicle.

Changing the unlocking settings: Press and buttons simultaneously for approx. 6 seconds until indicator lamp flashes twice. Options: Central unlocking, or unlocking driver's door and fuel filler flap only.

Doors

Unlocking/opening the doors from the inside: Pull door handle 1 to unlock/open front door. Pull rear door handle again to open rear door.

Centrally locking and unlocking the vehicle from the inside: Press button 1 to unlock, button 2 to lock (red indicator lamp lights up when locked). Buttons are also on front passenger and rear doors.

Locking/unlocking the vehicle with KEYLESS-GO: Requirements: SmartKey outside vehicle, within 3 ft (1 m), driver's door and used door handle closed. Touch inner door handle surface to unlock. Touch sensor surface 1 or 2 to lock. Convenience closing: touch sensor surface 2 until closing is complete.

? NOTE: Damage to the vehicle by unintentionally opening the trunk lid: Deactivate SmartKey function or ensure SmartKey is at least 10 ft (3 m) away when using automatic car wash or high-pressure cleaner.

Problems with KEYLESS-GO: If unable to lock/unlock, check SmartKey function/battery, use replacement key, emergency key, or have vehicle/key checked.

Activating/deactivating automatic locking feature: Vehicle locks automatically when switched on and wheels are turning. To activate: press and hold button 2 for approx. 5 seconds. To deactivate: press and hold button 1 for approx. 5 seconds. Red indicator lamp on button 2 lights up when locked. Danger of being locked out when function is activated (e.g., during tow-starting).

Locking/unlocking the vehicle with the emergency key: Use emergency key to lock/unlock driver's door. To lock vehicle entirely, press internal lock button while driver's door is open, then lock driver's door with emergency key.

Locking the front passenger door and rear doors: Remove emergency key. Insert into opening 1, pull door handle, pull cover off key. To unlock: turn key counter-clockwise to position 1. To lock: turn key clockwise to position 1. Press cover back on. To lock left/right side: insert object into opening 1, turn key counter-clockwise/clockwise. Locked doors cannot be opened from outside.

Trunk

Opening the trunk lid:

Closing the trunk lid:

HANDS-FREE ACCESS function: Opens trunk lid with a kicking movement under the bumper. Observe notes when opening trunk lid.

Sockets

Using the 12 V socket: Maximum 180 W (15 A) devices permissible. Sockets are located in the front center console stowage compartment and in the trunk.

Example: 12 V socket in front center console: Fold up socket cap 1. Insert device plug. Leave stowage compartment cover open if socket is covered.

USB port in rear passenger compartment: Charge USB devices (mobile phone) using a suitable cable when the vehicle is switched on.

Wireless charging of the mobile phone and connection with the exterior antenna

  • Place phone centrally on mat 1, display upwards. Message in multimedia system indicates charging. Malfunctions shown in central display.

Mat: Can be removed for cleaning. To secure phone: swing lever 2 out.

Installing/removing the floor mats

Installing floor mats: Slide seat back, place mat, press studs 1 onto holders 2, adjust seat.

Removing floor mats: Pull mat off holders 2, remove mat.

Light and visibility

Exterior lighting

Information about lighting systems and your responsibility: Lighting systems are aids. Driver is responsible for correct illumination according to conditions, regulations, and traffic situation.

Light switch:

  • 1 W Left-hand standing lights
  • 2 X Right-hand standing lights
  • 3 T Parking lights and license plate lamp
  • 4 ⚙️ Automatic driving lights (preferred position)
  • 5 L Low beam/high beam
  • 6 R Switches the rear fog light on/off

When low beam is activated, the T indicator lamp is replaced by the L indicator lamp. Park safely using sufficient lighting. ? NOTE: Battery discharging by operating standing lights: Operating standing lights for hours strains the battery. Switch on right or left parking light where possible. Lights may switch off automatically to facilitate engine start if battery is low.

Exterior lighting (except standing/parking lights) switches off automatically when the driver's door is opened. Observe surround lighting notes.

Automatic driving lights function: Parking lamps, low beam, and daytime running lamps switch on automatically based on ambient light when the vehicle is switched on.

⚠️ WARNING: Risk of accident when low beam is switched off in poor visibility: Low beam may not switch on automatically in fog, snow, etc. Turn light switch to L in such cases. Automatic driving lights are an aid; driver is responsible.

Switching the rear fog lights on or off: Requirements: Light switch in L or ⚙️ position. Press R button. Observe country-specific laws.

Operating the combination switch for the lights:

  • 1 High beam
  • 2 Turn signal light, right
  • 3 High-beam flasher
  • 4 Turn signal light, left

Switching on high beam: Light switch to L or ⚙️. Push combination switch in direction 1. L indicator lamp replaced by K indicator lamp.

Switching off high beam: Push switch in direction 1 or pull in direction 3.

High-beam flasher: Pull combination switch in direction 3.

Turn signal light: Push briefly to point of resistance for three flashes. Push beyond resistance for continuous indication.

Vehicles with Active Lane Change Assist: Turn signal may operate for lane change duration or activate automatically if lane change is not immediately possible.

Activating/deactivating the hazard warning lights: Press button 1. Hazard lights activate automatically if airbag deploys.

Cornering light

Improves illumination angle in turns for better visibility. Active below 25 mph (40 km/h) with turn signal or steering wheel turned, or between 25-43 mph (40-70 km/h) with steering wheel turned. Roundabout/intersection function uses GPS position.

Active headlamps function

Headlamps follow steering movements. Relevant areas are better illuminated when high beam is on.

Adaptive Highbeam Assist

⚠️ WARNING: Risk of accident despite Adaptive Highbeam Assist: Does not react to unlit road users (pedestrians, cyclists), poorly lit users, or obstructed lights. May fail to recognize or recognize other road users late. Always observe road/traffic conditions and switch off high beam in time. System is an aid; driver is responsible.

Detection may be restricted in poor visibility (fog, rain, snow) or if sensors are dirty/obscured.

Function: Automatically switches between low and high beam. Above 19 mph (30 km/h): high beam switches on if no other road users detected. High beam switches off below 16 mph (25 km/h), if other users detected, or if street lighting is sufficient.

Switching on/off: Turn light switch to ⚙️, switch on high beam with combination switch. _ indicator lamp lights up. To switch off, switch off high beam with combination switch.

Interior lighting

Adjusting the interior lighting:

Front overhead control panel:

  • 1 ? Front left reading lamp
  • 2 ? Automatic interior lighting control
  • 3 ? Front interior lighting
  • 4 ? Rear interior lighting
  • 5 ? Front right reading lamp

  • Activating brightness for zones: Select Brightness, select Brightness Zones, switch on/off or set brightness for zones.
  • Activating multi-color lighting: Select Color, select Multi-color, select color combination.
  • Activating multi-color animation: Select Color, select Multi-color Animation. Color combination changes at predefined intervals.
  • Activating welcome lighting: Select Color, select Welcome. Special ambient lighting sequence runs when vehicle is unlocked.
  • Activating dependency on air conditioning settings: Select Color, select Climate. Ambient lighting color changes briefly with temperature setting changes.

Switching the interior lighting switch-off delay time on/off: Multimedia system: 4 ➡️ 5 Settings ➡️ 5 Light ➡️ 5 Interior Lighting Delay. Interior lighting lights up briefly after vehicle is locked when active.

Windshield wiper and windshield washer system

Switching the windshield wipers on/off:

  • 1 g Windshield wipers off
  • 2 ⚙️ Automatic wiping, normal
  • 3 ⚙️ Automatic wiping, frequent
  • 4 ⚙️ Continuous wiping, slow
  • 5 ⚙️ Continuous wiping, fast

Turn combination switch to corresponding position 1-5. Single wipe/washing: push button in direction of arrow 1 ( for single wipe, with washer fluid).

Replacing the windshield wiper blades:

⚠️ WARNING: Risk of becoming trapped if windshield wipers are switched on while blades are being replaced: Switch off wipers and vehicle before changing blades.

Moving wiper arms to replacement position: Switch vehicle on then off immediately. Within 15 seconds, press and hold button for approx. 3 seconds. Wiper arms move to replacement position.

Removing wiper blades: Fold wiper arms away. Hold wiper arm, turn blade away from arm in direction 1. Slide catch 2 until engaged, remove blade in direction 4.

Installing wiper blades: Insert new blade in direction 1. Slide catch 2 until engaged. Ensure blade is seated correctly. Fold wiper arms back onto windshield.

Operation: Switch vehicle on. Press button to return arms to original position. Switch off vehicle. Check wiper blades regularly.

Maintenance display: Remove protective film 1 from displays on tips of new blades. Color changes from black to yellow indicates replacement needed.

Mirrors

Operating the outside mirrors:

⚠️ WARNING: Risk of accident due to adjusting vehicle settings while in motion: (Repeated warning.) Adjust before driving.

⚠️ WARNING: Risk of accident due to misjudgment of distance when using front-passenger mirror: Objects appear smaller and closer than they are. Always look over shoulder to check actual distance.

  • To fold in or out: Briefly press button 2.
  • To set: Press button 1 or 3 to select mirror. Use button 4 to adjust mirror glass position.

If battery was disconnected, reset mirrors for automatic folding. To reset: briefly press button 2. Manually move mirrors or press button 2 repeatedly for electrically folding mirrors until they click into place.

Automatic anti-glare mirrors function: Inside rearview mirror and driver's side outside mirror automatically go into anti-glare mode when headlamp light hits the sensor. System does not activate if vehicle is switched off, reverse gear is engaged, or interior lighting is on.

⚠️ WARNING: Risk of acid burns and poisoning due to anti-glare mirror electrolyte: Electrolyte may escape if glass breaks. It is hazardous. Rinse skin with water, seek medical attention. Rinse eyes thoroughly. Rinse mouth if swallowed, do not induce vomiting. Change contaminated clothing. Seek medical attention for allergic reactions.

Front-passenger outside mirror parking position function: Swivels downwards towards rear wheel when parking. Stored position is recalled when reverse gear is engaged. Returns to original position when transmission is shifted, speed exceeds 9 mph (15 km/h), or driver's side mirror button is pressed.

Storing the parking position: Press button 1 to select front-passenger mirror. Engage reverse gear. Move mirror to desired parking position using button 4. Press button 1 again to store.

Calling up parking position: Press button 1 to select front-passenger mirror. Engage reverse gear. Mirror moves to stored position.

Activating/deactivating automatic mirror folding function: Multimedia system: 4 ➡️ 5 Settings ➡️ 5 Vehicle ➡️ Switch Automatic Folding on or off.
