Shoulder Banshee Instruction Sheet
R/C Mode
This section details the remote control (R/C) functions for the Shoulder Banshee.
Remote and Banshee Overview
Remote: Features buttons for head movement and wing control.
Banshee: The toy itself, with various interactive points.
Shoulder Pad Placement
Clip the shoulder pad to secure the tail of the Shoulder Banshee onto your shirt. Place the shoulder connector underneath your shirt on either the left or right shoulder. Sit the Banshee on the shoulder pad to secure the magnetic connection.
Pairing Instructions
- Slide the remote switch to "ON". The LED on the front of the remote will blink slowly.
- Slide the Banshee switch to "ON". The LED on the bottom of the Banshee will blink slowly.
- The LED on the front of the remote and the bottom of the Banshee will turn off to indicate successful pairing.
Default Position
The Banshee's default position is with its neck centered, mouth closed, and wings down.
Mouth Control
Press the button to activate mouth movement and sounds.
Head Movement
- Left: Press the left button to turn the head left. If there is no action after 5 seconds, the neck will default back to center.
- Right: Press the right button to turn the head right. If there is no action after 5 seconds, the neck will default back to center.
Wings Control
Press the wing button to activate wing flapping (wings go up then back down once). Hold down the button for continuous wing movement (up and down, up and down, etc.). When the button is released, the wings will return to the default position.
Idle Shutoff: The remote will turn off after 5 minutes of no interaction. Slide the switch "OFF" and "ON" to reactivate.
Idle Shutoff (Banshee): The Banshee will turn off after 10 minutes of no interaction. Slide the switch "OFF" and "ON" to reactivate.
Interactive Mode
Touch sensors on the chest and back will activate random movements and sounds. If the Banshee is left idle, randomized movements and sounds will be activated.
Connectivity Mode
Press the connectivity button to talk to nearby Banshees and Baby Banshees.
Warnings and Battery Information
WARNING: CHOKING HAZARD - Small parts. Not for children under 3 years. (Baby Banshee sold separately)
Battery Requirements:
- Remote requires 2 AAA 1.5V batteries (included).
- Banshee requires 3 AA 1.5V batteries (included).
Battery Instructions:
- DO NOT MIX OLD AND NEW BATTERIES.
- DO NOT MIX ALKALINE, STANDARD (CARBON ZINC), OR RECHARGEABLE (NICKEL-CADMIUM) BATTERIES.
- NON-RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES ARE NOT TO BE RECHARGED.
- THE SUPPLY TERMINALS ARE NOT TO BE SHORT-CIRCUITED.
- DO NOT USE RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES.
- REMOVE BATTERIES WHEN NOT IN USE OR DISCHARGED.
Battery Replacement:
- Remove the screw to access the battery compartment.
- Open the battery compartment. Exhausted batteries are to be removed.
- New batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity.
- Replace the battery door and secure with the screw.
