D'Addario Humidipak Maintain

MAINTAIN

Follow these six simple steps to start using Humidipak Maintain. If your instrument or hard-shell (wooden) guitar case is in a known overly dry state, use Humidipak Restore to rehydrate your instruments proper humidity level before using Humidipak Maintain.

1. Open the outer packaging on your Maintain Humidipak packets.
2. Insert one in each side of the saddle pouch and one in the headstock pouch included with this kit. Be careful never to puncture a Humidipak packet. If a puncture occurs, discard the packet(s).
3. If your instrument is a flat top guitar with a normal soundhole, insert the saddle bag over the 3rd and 4th strings and allow the packets to hang inside the body of the guitar. If you are using Humidipak with other instrument types, find a space in your instrument case that will safely accommodate the packets. Never put them in a position where they are under pressure or where strings or tools can puncture the carrier bags or the packets themselves.
4. Place the headstock pouch under the headstock in your case.
5. Keep your instrument in its case with the lid securely fastened. When playing the instrument, store the active Humidipaks in the closed case or in a resealable bag.
6. When the packets are hard, they are depleted of moisture and should be discarded and replaced with fresh packets.
