Dimensions and Installation Heights
Diagrams illustrate the RYTMISK range hood with key dimensions. The hood requires specific minimum and maximum installation heights above the cooking surface:
- For electric/ceramic cooktops: Minimum 500 mm clearance.
- For gas cooktops: Minimum 650 mm clearance.
- Overall minimum installation height: 715 mm (or 630 mm for gas cooktops).
- Maximum installation height: 995 mm.
Overall dimensions of the hood body are approximately 598 mm in width and 471 mm in depth.
Installation Steps

Step 1: Mark the Wall
Using a spirit level, draw a precise vertical reference line on the wall.

Step 2: Mark Horizontal Line
Draw a horizontal reference line at the desired height for the mounting bracket, ensuring it is level.

Step 3: Position Template and Mark Holes
Align the mounting plate template (H.1) with the reference lines on the wall and mark the screw hole locations.

Step 4: Drill Holes
Drill holes at the marked positions. A close-up view shows a Ø 6mm drill bit being used.

Step 5: Discard Packaging
Dispose of all packaging materials properly ?️.

Step 6: Attach Wall Brackets
Attach the two wall brackets (F) to the mounting plate. The diagram indicates the required vertical clearance range (min 630mm/715mm to max 995mm) and a small gap (≥1-2 mm) between brackets.

Step 7: Prepare Wall for Fixings
Drill holes for wall plugs. The diagram shows drilling with Ø 5mm (4x) and Ø 6mm (3x) drill bits. Insert the corresponding wall plugs (7x) into the holes.

Step 8: Secure Wall Brackets
Insert and tighten screws (Ø 6mm, 2x) into the wall brackets (F).

Step 9: Mount Hood Body
Carefully lift and position the main hood body, engaging it with the wall brackets (F).

Step 10: Attach Side Covers
Attach the side decorative panels or covers to the main hood body.

Step 11: Insert Grease Filter
Insert the grease filter (NYTTIG FIL 400) into its designated position within the hood.

Step 12: Install Fan Unit
Install the internal fan unit into the hood body. Secure the fan unit using two screws (2x).

Step 13: Secure Hood from Underneath
From underneath, secure the main hood body to the wall brackets using one screw (1x, Ø 6mm).

Step 14: Attach Hood to Brackets
Attach the hood body to the wall brackets (F) by inserting and tightening the provided screws (one screw per bracket connection is implied).

Step 15: Attach Main Mounting Plate
Attach the main mounting plate (F) to the ceiling or wall structure using four screws (4x, Ø 5mm). Warning icons ⚠️ indicate correct and incorrect methods of attaching the bracket.

Step 16: Choose Installation Type
The diagram illustrates two installation options: ducted exhaust (left) and recirculation (right). Airflow arrows show air being expelled outwards for ducted installation.

Step 17: Attach Top Cover
Attach the top cover or shield (E) to the top of the hood.

Step 18: Connect Duct Adapter
Connect the duct adapter (C) to the hood's exhaust outlet. Note: The adapter is designed for Ø 120/125 mm ducts; a Ø 150 mm duct is incompatible ❌.

Step 19: Connect Exhaust Duct
Connect the flexible exhaust duct to the adapter (C) and secure it tightly with the hose clamp (D). The diagram shows how to attach and tighten the clamp.

Step 20: Connect to Mounting System
Connect the hood assembly to the wall/ceiling mounting system. A warning symbol ⚠️ highlights the electrical connection point.

Step 21: Secure Assembly
Secure the exhaust duct and the fan unit assembly to the wall or ceiling structure.

Step 22: Secure Fan Unit
Install the fan unit within the hood body, securing it with four screws (4x, A).

Step 23: Adjust Chimney
Adjust the telescopic chimney sections to the correct height. The diagram shows how to slide and lock the sections into place.

Step 24: Attach Bottom Cover
Attach the bottom decorative panel or cover to the underside of the hood, clipping it into place.

Step 25: Control Panel Operation
The diagram shows the control panel with speed settings ranging from 0 (off) to 8. A cross symbol ❌ indicates an invalid or off state.
