  • Never use harsh cleaning agents; clean with mild cleaner and soft cloth.

When Driving

Keep volume low enough to be aware of your surroundings.

Protect from Water

Do not submerge. Avoid power washing as water pressure may exceed IPX5 rating.

Protect from High Temperatures

Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight. Allow interior to cool before playback. Do not mount near the engine compartment.

Use the Proper Power Supply

Designed for a 12 volt DC negative ground battery system.

WARNINGS

  • DO NOT OPEN, DISASSEMBLE OR ALTER THE UNIT.
  • USE THE CORRECT AMPERE RATING WHEN REPLACING FUSE.
  • DO NOT INSTALL IN LOCATIONS THAT MIGHT HINDER VEHICLE OPERATION.
  • INSTALL WIRING TO AVOID CRIMPING OR PINCHING BY SCREWS OR SHARP METAL EDGES. Use rubber grommets for holes and sealing caulk for openings to prevent water entry.
  • Choose a flat mounting location with clearance for ventilation. Orient and mount horizontally or vertically if possible.
  • Before drilling, inspect the area for existing wires, fuel lines, or tanks.
  • Always disconnect the vehicle negative battery terminal during installation.

Mounting the Soundbar

With N-Bracket

Without N-Bracket

Side-Bracket Adjustment

Diagram Description: Shows how the side-bracket can be adjusted for left/right angles and height. Loosen the screw to adjust, then re-tighten. When the bracket is vertical, use the center hole and one side hole. In other cases, use the two available holes on the bracket slot. Components shown: Side-Bracket, Rotation, M6 Washer, M6 Bolt, Movement. Note: A bolt is always required in the center.

Wire Diagram

Amphenol ATP04-4P Connector

3.5mm AUX Connections

  • AUX OUT: Connects to the AUX input of a second MSBAR, subwoofer amplifier, or other audio system expansion. Signal level is 2 Volts.
  • AUX IN: For audio input.

Note: The 'REMOTE' wire can connect to a +12VDC switched source or amplifier remote turn-on from the head unit. Connecting to the head unit's remote turn-on is recommended to prevent popping noise.

Operation

Power/Bluetooth

  • Press the Power/Bluetooth switch to turn the device on/off (standby).
  • Press and hold the Power/Bluetooth Switch for ~3 seconds to enter Bluetooth pairing mode (device name: MSBAR). Pairing mode lasts 120 seconds. If no device is paired, it returns to normal operation. The last paired device is remembered.
  • Bluetooth pairing is only needed for new devices. When power is on, MSBAR automatically connects to the last paired device.
  • LED Status: The LED ring is always on when Bluetooth is connected or in AUX mode. It is off when the power is off (standby). It flashes slowly when in Bluetooth mode and no device is connected.
  • Mode Switching: When a 3.5mm AUX input is detected, the unit automatically switches to AUX mode. If no AUX input is detected, it switches back to Bluetooth mode. This switching is controlled by AUX input detection only.

LED Light Bar Switch

  • Press the LED light bar switch to turn the LED light bar on/off.
  • When the MSBAR is powered, the LED on/off switch has a blue light ring for easy location at night.
