The Algo 2503 BCM Wiring Kit provides the necessary connections for integrating auxiliary audio and visual equipment with the BCM 450 system. This kit facilitates the connection of devices such as loud ringers, paging amplifiers, and visual alerting devices.
Component Functions
Auxiliary Ring Relay
Provides a dry contact closure output, normally open, for purposes such as night bell or auxiliary ringing. Contacts are made between the tip and ring of a 3.5 mm (1/8") stereo jack. These contacts are rated for 50 mA at 30 V, suitable for non-inductive and non-capacitive loads.
Page Relay
Offers a dry contact closure output, normally open, designed to mute background music during paging operations through an external amplifier. Contacts are provided between the tip and ring of a 3.5 mm (1/8") stereo jack and are rated for 50 mA at 30 V, suitable for non-inductive and non-capacitive loads.
Page Audio
Delivers page audio output with a typical level of -12 dBm maximum (0 dBm into 600 Ω load). This output is transformer-isolated and supplied between the tip and ring of a 3.5 mm (1/8") stereo jack.
Music Source
This input is for music source audio. It has an input impedance of 3.3 kΩ and a nominal input level of 0.25 Vrms (-10 dBu). The maximum non-clipping input level is 1 Vrms. For mono input, the connection should be made between the tip and sleeve of the 3.5 mm (1/8") stereo jack.
