Quick Start Guide

1. Have you got everything?
Unpack the box carefully and ensure all items are present:

You will also need:
- Phillips-head screwdriver
- Someone to help lift the TV
Note: See the flap of the box for instructions on handling the TV without damaging it.
2. Attach the TV stand
Unless you are wall-mounting the TV, you will need to attach its stand/legs. For wall-mounting instructions, refer to page 7 of the User Manual.
- Lay the TV face-down on a soft, flat surface (e.g., a sofa or a towel on a table).
- Match the stands to the installation points on the underside of the TV.
- Attach the stands to the TV using the provided screws. A Phillips-head screwdriver is required.
Note: This TV is heavy. It is recommended to have someone assist you with lifting it.
3. Which plug goes where?
Connect your new TV to external devices like a DVD player using the following guide. Cables are not included with the TV.
- DIGITAL AUDIO OUT (OPTICAL): Use this to connect your soundbar, amplifier, digital receiver, or other external audio equipment.
- HDMI: Use this connection for a DVD player, gaming console, computer, and camera.
- ANTENNA: To watch free-to-air TV channels, you need an antenna connection.
- LAN (ETHERNET CABLE): Use this cable to connect the TV to your modem for internet access. Wi-Fi connectivity is also available.
Refer to pages 10-11 of the User Manual for more detailed connection information.
4. Get to know the remote
Familiarize yourself with the Magic Remote for optimal use.
Key buttons include:
- On/Standby: Powers the TV on or off.
- Volume Adjust: Controls the TV's volume.
- Home Page: Navigates to the main menu.
- Channel Change: Switches between TV channels.
- Navigation and Select/Confirm: Used for navigating menus and confirming selections (OK button/wheel).
- Input Source: Selects the input source for the TV.
- Netflix: Opens the Netflix application.
- Prime Video: Opens the Prime Video application.
To pair the remote, point it at the TV's sensor and press the OK button (wheel).
5. On-screen set-up
Follow the on-screen prompts to pair your remote, set your language, country, time zone, and connect to the Internet.
Press the OK button (wheel) on your remote to confirm selections and proceed to the next step.
Troubleshooting
Uh-oh, this isn't right...
If setup is not going smoothly, please check the following:
- Is it plugged in? Ensure the TV is plugged into a power outlet and that the outlet is switched ON.
- Look at the manual! The User Manual, particularly the troubleshooting section (pages 40-42), often contains solutions to common issues.
