CAUTION: In order to avoid a hazard due to inadvertent resetting of the thermal cut-out, this appliance must not be supplied through an external switching device, such as a timer, or connected to a circuit that is regularly switched on and off by the utility.

This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge unless they are supervised or have been given instruction concerning the use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

Safety Precautions (Continued)

Operating your Heater

Always choose a safe location for the heater, keeping in mind the safety precautions outlined. Ensure all packaging has been removed from the unit before use. Please follow the below instructions.

WARNING: In order to avoid overheating or fire, do not cover the heater.

WARNING: Keep all objects at least 1 metre from the front, sides and rear of the appliance.

WARNING: Do not use this heater with a programmer, separate timer, remote-control system or any other device that switches the heater on automatically, since a fire risk exists if the heater is covered or positioned incorrectly.

WARNING: Never leave this heater unattended when in use.

Ensure heater is on a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface.

Once the heater is in a safe operating position and all switches are in the off position, insert the power plug into the mains outlet and switch on.

CAUTION: Ensure the power cord is not tight because if pulled it may partially pull the plug from the socket. A partially inserted plug will overheat the plug and socket and could result in fire.

Remote Control and General Operation

Control Panel Description: A circular dial with indicators for Fan, Low, and High. Below the dial are buttons labeled 'Temp', 'Timer', 'Swing', and 'Mode On/Off'.
Remote Control Description: A rectangular remote with buttons arranged in a grid. Top row: 'ON/OFF', 'FAN'. Middle row: 'TIMER', 'HIGH'. Bottom row: 'SWING', 'LOW'. Below these are '+' and '-' buttons.

IMPORTANT! Ensure heater is on a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface.

Once the heater is in a safe operating position and all switches are in the off position, insert the power plug into the mains outlet.

  1. Turn the Power Switch at the back of the heater to the "I" position. You will hear a [beep].
  2. Press the [Mode On/Off] button on the control panel to turn the heater on. The LED will display the current room temperature; the heater will begin to blow out room temperature air and the [Fan] indicator will light up.
  3. Press the [Mode On/Off] button again; the heater will begin to operate in Low Heat Mode and the [Low] indicator will light up. In this mode "[01]" will display on screen and flash 4 times, then the screen reverts to showing the current room temperature. Under this mode, the heater will continuously heat up under the Low 1000W power.
  4. Pressing the [Mode On/Off] button for a third time, the heater will begin to operate in High Heat Mode and the [High] indicator will light up. In this mode "[02]" will display on screen and flash 4 times, then the screen reverts to showing the current room temperature. Under this mode, the heater will continuously heat up under the High 1500W power.
  5. To adjust the thermostat, press the [Temp] button until you reach your desired temperature, between 15°C - 40°C. 6. To find a comfortable temperature; we recommend setting the thermostat to the maximum. When the room reaches a comfortable temperature for you, reduce the set temperature to match the heater's temperature reading.
  7. Please note: the fan will continue to run even though the elements have switched off. This is normal.
  8. Note: the temperature is read from a thermostat in the heater, for a more accurate reading, position a separate thermometer in another part of the room.
  9. To set the timer, press the [Timer] button until you reach your required time. The timer can be set between 1 to 12 hours, in 1 hour intervals. Once the desired run time is confirmed, the display will flash 4 times and then will revert to show the current room temperature. To cancel the timer, simply press the [Timer] button until "[00]" is shown.
  10. To activate the oscillation, press the [Swing] button to turn on or off.
