Functional Features
The FIBARO Wall Plug offers several key functionalities:
Power Consumption Metering: Measures and displays real-time power consumption, visualized by a gauge indicating values such as 7.3kWh.
Energy Consumption History: Provides historical data on energy usage through bar charts.
Remote Control: Allows for remote management of the Wall Plug and connected devices via the FIBARO Home Center smartphone application.
Z-Wave Network Tester: The device can act as a Z-Wave network tester, indicated by network wave symbols.
The Wall Plug features a distinctive LED ring that changes color to indicate its operational status and functions.

To manage your smart home devices, download the FIBARO app. It is available for both iOS (App Store) and Android (Google Play) platforms. QR codes are provided for convenient access to download links.
Adding Your Wall Plug to the Home Center
Your Wall Plug is ready to be integrated with your FIBARO Home Center. Ensure the Wall Plug is placed within the communication range of the Home Center.
Inclusion Process:
Step 1: Go to Settings. Access the Settings menu within the FIBARO Home Center app.
Step 2: Press "add device". Select the option to add a new device.
Step 3: Press "Next". Proceed through the device setup wizard.
Step 4: Insert the device in the power outlet. Plug the Wall Plug into a power socket. Upon initial power-up, the LED ring will glow red.
Step 5: Name the device and assign it to a room. After the device is successfully added, you can assign it a name and allocate it to a specific room within the app (e.g., Toilet, Guest room, Kitchen, Dining room, Bedroom, Office, Bathroom).
The app will display the configuration progress, showing "Please wait..." during the device setup.
Installation and Status Indicators
Step 6: Insert the device in the power outlet.
The LED ring on the Wall Plug provides visual feedback on its status:
Green LED Ring: Confirms successful addition to the Home Center.
Red LED Ring: Indicates that the device was not added successfully. In this case, system configuration may need to be repeated.
Network Range Test
It is advisable to perform a network range test to verify that the device is within optimal communication range of your Home Center.
Step 7: Hold the button for a few seconds until the LED ring blinks violet. This action initiates the network range test mode.
Step 8: Release the button, and press it again. This confirms the initiation of the test.
The network range test will activate, and the LED ring will display the quality of the network connection.
Network Range Test – Quality Indicator:
Green: Represents direct communication with the Home Center.
Yellow: Indicates routed communication, where the signal is relayed through another Z-Wave device.
Violet: Signifies limited communication, meaning the signal strength is weak.
Red: Denotes no signal, and the device will not function correctly.
Step 9: Press the button to exit testing mode.
Energy Usage Overview
Detailed energy usage data from your Wall Plug is accessible through the energy usage overview panel in the FIBARO app. This feature is available on tablets, PCs, and MAC devices.
