This product is designed for making waffles, sandwiches, and for grilling food. Do not use it for any other purpose.

This product is only intended for private household use, not for commercial purposes. The manufacturer accepts no liability for damages caused by improper use.

📋 Safety information Instructions for use

General Safety Precautions

  • Risk to Infants and Children: Never leave children unsupervised with packaging material, as it poses a suffocation hazard. Keep children away from the product and its mains cord, especially those younger than 8 years. Children aged 8 and above, and persons with reduced capabilities, may use the product under supervision or instruction. Children must not play with the product. Cleaning and maintenance should only be done by children older than 8 and supervised.
  • Risk of Injury: Misuse can lead to injury. Use the product only as instructed and do not attempt to modify it.
  • Risk of Electric Shock: Never attempt to repair the product yourself. Repairs must be done by qualified personnel. Do not immerse the product in water or other liquids. Never hold the product under running water. Do not use a damaged product; disconnect it and contact your retailer. The product is live when connected to the mains supply.
  • Electrical Connection: Before connecting, check that the voltage and current rating match the product's rating label. Regularly check the mains plug and cord for damage. If damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or qualified personnel. Protect the mains cord from damage, sharp edges, squeezing, bending, hot surfaces, and open flames.
  • Hot Surfaces: The product gets hot during use. Do not touch the product while in use or immediately after. Only touch the product by the handle during operation and while cooling. Be aware that the handle may generate slight heat.
  • Risk of Injury and Damage: Do not leave the product unattended when connected to the mains. Do not move the product while in operation. Do not use without inserted plates. Place on a level, stable, clean, heat-resistant, and dry surface. Do not cover the product while in use or hot. Ensure the mains cord is not pinched by plates or touches the rim. Extension cords are not recommended; if used, they must be rated for at least 10 A. Lay cords to prevent tripping or damage. The product is not intended for external timers or remote controls. Do not pull the plug by the cord. Protect the product, cord, and plug from dust, sunlight, moisture, and splashing water. Protect from heat sources like stoves or open flames.
  • General Usage Precautions: Do not use if dropped or visibly damaged. The product is live when connected. Ensure the mains cord is not pinched by plates or touches their edges. Do not use extension cords unless necessary and rated for at least 10A. Lay cords safely. Do not use with external timers or remote controls. Do not pull the plug by the cord. Protect from dust, sunlight, water, and heat.

Usage

Before First Use

Unpacking and Basic Cleaning

  1. Remove the product from packaging and all packaging materials/plastic wrappings.
  2. Check that all listed parts are included (see "Scope of Delivery").
  3. Inspect the product and parts for damage or defects. Do not use if damaged; follow warranty procedures.
  4. Before first use, operate the product without food to burn off any production residues. Ensure good ventilation.
  5. Clean all parts as described in the "Cleaning and Care" chapter.

Installing and Removing the Plates

WARNING! RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK! Before installing/removing plates, disconnect the mains plug from the wall outlet.

CAUTION! HOT SURFACE! Do not change/remove plates immediately after operation. Let the product cool first.

INFO: Install only plates [11]/[12]/[13] of the same type.

Installing the Plates

  1. Open the lock [1] and open the product.
  2. Place the inner catch [10] of the chosen plate into the large hook catches [7].
  3. Push down the plate until it clicks into place.
  4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 on the other side.

Removing the Plates

  1. Open the lock [1] and open the product.
  2. Pull the release levers [8] and remove the plate.
  3. Repeat step 2 on the other side.

Operation

INFO: A faint odour may be present during the first few uses; ensure good ventilation. Discard the first batch of grilled or baked food. The green indicator [3] turning on and off indicates the product is reheating to the operating temperature.

Suggested Baking/Grilling Times

Sandwiches 4 to 5 minutes
Grilling 4 to 9 minutes (check browning)
Waffles (sweet/savoury) 8 minutes

To Operate:

  1. Connect the mains plug [4] to a wall outlet. The red indicator [2] lights up.
  2. Keep the product locked while preheating until the green indicator [3] lights up.
  3. Grease the upper and lower exchangeable plates [11]/[12]/[13] with cooking oil.
  4. Add food/dough onto the lower plates, close the lid [14] using the handle [15] and lock [1].
  5. To turn off, disconnect the mains plug. The red indicator [2] will go off.

Grilling Sandwiches

Suitable for sandwich pockets with sweet or savoury filling.

INFO: The green indicator [3] cycles on/off during grilling to regulate temperature.

Plates: Sandwich plates [11]

Approximate Grilling Time: 4 to 5 minutes, adjustable to preference.

  1. Open lock [1] and open the product.
  2. Place 2 prepared sandwiches on the lower sandwich plate [11].
  3. Close lid [14] with handle [15] and lock [1].
  4. Remove sandwiches with a plastic/wooden spatula (or non-metallic tool) to avoid damaging the non-stick coating.
  5. Disconnect mains plug [4] when finished.

Grilling

CAUTION! DANGER OF SPLASHES! Do not use wet food. Be aware of fat splashes and steam when opening. Suitable for small meat chunks, sausages, or vegetables.

INFO: The green indicator [3] cycles on/off during grilling to regulate temperature.

Plates: Grill plates [12]

Approximate Grilling Time: 4 to 9 minutes, adjustable to preference.

  1. Open lock [1] and open the product.
  2. Place food on the lower grill plate [12].
  3. Close lid [14] with handle [15] and lock [1].
  4. Disconnect mains plug [4] when finished.

Baking Waffles

Suitable for sweet and savoury waffles.

INFO: The green indicator [3] cycles on/off during baking to regulate temperature.

Plates: Waffle plates [13]

Approximate Baking Time: 8 minutes, adjustable to preference.

  1. Open lock [1] and open the product.
  2. Use a wooden or heat-resistant plastic ladle to pour batter onto the lower waffle plate [13]. Do not use metal ladles, as they can damage the non-stick surface. Do not overfill.
  3. Close lid [14] with handle [15] and lock [1].
  4. Remove waffles with a plastic/wooden spatula (or non-metallic tool) to avoid damaging the non-stick coating.
  5. Disconnect mains plug [4] when finished.

Cleaning and Care

DANGER! RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK! Always disconnect from power before cleaning. Do not immerse electrical parts in water or other liquids. Never hold under running water. Prevent liquids from entering the product interior.

CAUTION! HOT SURFACE! Do not clean immediately after use. Let the product cool first.

NOTICE! RISK OF DAMAGE! Do not use abrasive, aggressive cleaners, or hard brushes.

INFO: Clean the product soon after it has cooled. Dried food residues are difficult to remove. Plates [11]/[12]/[13] are dishwasher safe.

Part Cleaning Method
Housing Wipe with a slightly damp cloth. Add mild detergent if needed.
Plates [11]/[12]/[13] Rinse with water and mild detergent.
Spaces underneath plates Remove fat and liquids with kitchen paper.
Heating element [6] Remove stuck-on burnt residues using a wooden spatula or small wooden skewers.
Lock [1]

After cleaning, dry all parts thoroughly before reuse.

Disposal

Packaging is made of environmentally friendly materials, suitable for local recycling. Observe packaging markings (abbreviations (a) and numbers (b)) for waste separation: 1-7: plastics; 20-22: paper/fibreboard; 80-98: composite materials.

Contact your local authority for disposal information. To protect the environment, do not dispose of the product in household waste. Information on collection points and hours is available from your local authority.

Electrical waste must not be disposed of in municipal waste. It can be returned to designated collection points or retail outlets selling electronics. Follow local regulations for selective collection of electrical and electronic equipment. Used equipment may contain hazardous substances affecting the environment and health. Households play a role in reuse, recovery, and recycling.
