DocumentDocumentSmart Interactive Display (Wireless Module) Quick Guide V1.04 1 Safety Instructions The device must be installed, serviced and maintained by a trained professional with necessary safety knowledge and skills. Before installation, be sure to carefully read and implement the safety instructions specified in this manual. Make sure the power supply meets the requirements indicated on the device, and the supply voltage is stable. Non-compliant power supplies may cause device failure. The operating temperature for the device is 0°C to 50°C. Operation out of this range may cause device failure. The operating humidity is 10% to 90%. Use a dehumidifier if necessary. Take effective measures to protect the power cord from being tramped or pressed. Keep the device away from fire and water. Do not open the cabinet as there are high voltage components inside. Handle with care during transportation and installation. Do not knock, squeeze or carve the screen with hard objects. User shall assume total responsibility for damages caused by improper user operations. Use the device in a clean environment. Installing or moving the device shall be done by more than two people. Avoid placing the device on uneven surfaces to prevent personal injury and device damage from tip-over. Unplug the power cord before leaving this device unused for long periods. Do not turn on and off frequently. Wait at least 3 minutes before turning on/off again. Do not insert objects of any kind into the device via the vent or input/output ports. It may cause short circuit, device failure, or electric shock. Be especially careful when children are present. When the device is moved from a cold environment to a warm environment, condensation may occur inside the device. Photosensitive sensor: Used to adjust the screen brightness automatically based on the ambient light intensity. OPS reset button, when the device runs in Windows, press and hold the button for more than 5 seconds to restore the Windows settings to factory defaults. USB interface, connects to a USB device such as USB flash drive (used to receive upgrade packages and files), keyboard and mouse (used to control the device). HDMI video input interface, connects to a video source device such as PC for video input. Touch output interface, connects to the same video source device with HDMI video input interface, such as PC, for touch control to the video source device. Type-C interface, supports video input, data transmission, TOUCH output, fast charging, etc. OPS switch button, when an OPS module is installed on this device and the device is using other signal sources, press the button to switch to Windows system; if no OPS module is installed, the screen shows no signal. Input source button, press to open and switch signal input sources. Rserved. Power button, when the device is powered on but not started, press the button to start the device; when the device is operating, press the button to select the power status. You can check the device status through the indicator. Red: The device is powered on but not started. White: The device is starting/running normally. Press to configure device functions, network, etc. DP video input interface, connects to a video source device such as PC for video input. HDMI video output interface, connects to a display device such as display screen for video output. TF card slot, used to insert a TF card to expand the display's storage capacity Audio output interface, connects to an audio playback device such as speaker for audio output. RS232 interface, connects to other devices such as PC for control signal input via the serial port tool. AV video input interface, connects to a video source device such as PC for video input. AV video output interface, connects to a display device such as display screen for video output. Audio output interface, connects to an audio playback device such as earphone for audio output. Audio input interface, connects to an audio source device such as microphone for audio input. Network input interface (supports both Android and Windows), connects to a network device such as switch for network access. Network output interface, connects to other devices such as PC and display so that other devices can access the network and be on the same network as this device. NOTE! This interface is available only when the LAN IN interface is connected to Ethernet. VGA video input interface, connects to a video source device such as PC for video input. 6 Name PC AUDIO YPBPR Power interface Power switch Description Audio input interface, connects to the same video source device such as PC with VGA input and YPBPR input interfaces for video and audio input. YPBPR video input interface, connects to a video source device such as PC for video input. Connect the device to power via the power cable that meets the marked power requirements. Power on/off the device. 3.3 Wireless Module The wireless module is divided into two parts: Wi-Fi module and Bluetooth module. If you need to connect to wireless networks or Bluetooth devices, please install a wireless module first. Wi-Fi module: Wi-Fi 6 + Wi-Fi 5, Wi-Fi 6 for uplink routing, supports 2.4G/5G. Bluetooth module: Integrated with Wi-Fi 6 module, built-in antenna, supports Bluetooth 5.2 protocol. Figure 3-8 Wireless module PCIE interface Insert the wireless module into the wireless module slot at the bottom of the device. The wireless module is hot-pluggable. 3.4 Remote control NOTE! The buttons not shown in the table below are reserved functions and are currently unavailable. 7 Button ENTER MENU ESC 0~9 Description Turn on/off the device. CAUTION! After you turn off the device using the remote control, the device remains powered on. Please be aware of fire and electric hazards. Switch the signal source and display the corresponding image. Play/pause video. Stop video and exit the playback screen. Turn off/on sound. Turn up the volume. Turn down the volume. Choose up/down/left/right. Change values. Confirm the selection. Open the setting screen. Return to the previous screen. Select the number. You can use the supplied wall mount bracket to fix the device to the wall, or purchase our mobile stands. See the corresponding documents for details 8 4.2 Cable Connection Connect cables and other devices as needed. See Interfaces/Buttons for details. 5 Startup For first use, connect the device to power using the power cable, turn the power switch on, and press the power button. After startup, complete the initial configuration of the device according to the startup wizard. NOTE! You can set the boot mode under Settings > General > Boot Mode. Various small tools, such as annotation and volume adjustment. 9 6.2 Features High-precision touch, smooth writing Wireless screen mirroring, easy sharing Fast file transfer, one-key to transfer Minimalist interaction design, easy to files use More exciting features for you to explore... 7 Troubleshooting If The power indicator lights in red and cannot change to green. Then Check if the voltage and grounding of the power cable plug are normal. Press the power button on the display/remote control to turn on the display. The display cannot be turned on; there is no image on the screen and no sound coming from the display; the power indicator is not lit. Check if the voltage and grounding of the power cable plug are normal. Check if the rocker switch is switched to position "1". Check if the power button on the display/remote control is normal. Some buttons do not work. Check if the buttons cannot pop up due to excessive force. Check if there is dust accumulated in the gap of the buttons. 10 If The display cannot recognize the connected PC. Then Try another USB interface. Replace the USB touch cable. Reinstall the system. There is no sound coming from the display. There is noise coming from the external speaker. Turn up the sound volume. If there is still no sound, please operate as follows: Check if the speaker is normal. Insert an USB flash drive with songs into the USB interface, and play a song to test if there is sound output. If there is sound, the speaker is normal, and you need to reinstall the system. If there is no sound, the speaker or the board may have problems. Check if there is electromagnetic interference. Plug in headphones and listen if there is noise. If there is no noise, you need to replace a speaker. The Wi-Fi signal is weak. Check if the wireless router works properly. Make sure there is no obstacle around the Wi- Fi antenna. The device cannot connect to a Wi-Fi. Check if the wireless router works properly. Check if it is necessary to obtain an IP address automatically. The display cannot connect to a wired network. Check if the wired network and the network cable is normal. For Win7, go to Control Panel > Network and Internet > Network and Sharing Center > Change adapter settings, right-click a local area connection, click Properties, select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4), double-click the protocol, enable Obtain an IP 11 If There is water mist between the display screen and the tempered glass screen protector. There are lines or ripples in images. You cannot operate the device, for example, it gets stuck or crashes. The display shows delayed or no touch response. The OPS computer cannot be turned on normally; there is no image on the screen and no response to touch. Then address automatically and Obtain DNS server address automatically. For Win10, go to Settings > Network & Internet > Network and Sharing Center > Change adapter settings, right-click a local area connection, click Properties, select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4), double-click the protocol, enable Obtain an IP address automatically and Obtain DNS server address automatically. This problem is caused by the temperature difference between the inside and outside of the glass. The water mist generally disappears after the display is powered on and does not affect the normal operation of the device. Check if there is interference near the device. Keep the device away from interference or insert the power plug into another socket. Check if the video cables are of high quality. Disconnect the power supply, wait one minute and then restart the device. Check if too many programs are running. Stop the programs that cause high memory usage or restart the device. Network Security Please take all necessary measures to enhance network security for your device. The following are necessary measures for the network security of your device: Change default password and set strong password: You are strongly recommended to change the default password after your first login and set a strong password of at least nine characters 14 including all three elements: digits, letters and special characters. Keep firmware up to date: It is recommended that your device is always upgraded to the latest version for the latest functions and better security. Visit Uniview's official website or contact your local dealer for the latest firmware. The following are recommendations for enhancing network security of your device: Change password regularly: Change your device password on a regular basis and keep the password safe. Make sure only the authorized user can log in to the device. Enable HTTPS/SSL: Use SSL certificate to encrypt HTTP communications and ensure data security. Enable IP address filtering: Allow access only from the specified IP addresses. Minimum port mapping: Configure your router or firewall to open a minimum set of ports to the WAN and keep only the necessary port mappings. Never set the device as the DMZ host or configure a full cone NAT. Disable the automatic login and save password features: If multiple users have access to your computer, it is recommended that you disable these features to prevent unauthorized access. Choose username and password discretely: Avoid using the username and password of your social media, bank, email account, etc, as the username and password of your device, in case your social media, bank and email account information is leaked. Restrict user permissions: If more than one user needs access to your system, make sure each user is granted only the necessary permissions. Disable UPnP: When UPnP is enabled, the router will automatically map internal ports, and the system will automatically forward port data, which results in the risks of data leakage.
