Additional Battery Safety Warnings
To reduce risks of fire, injury, or product damage from short circuits, never immerse tools, battery packs, or chargers in fluid, or allow fluid to enter them. Corrosive or conductive fluids (seawater, industrial chemicals, bleach) can cause short circuits.
Wall Mounting
Select a stable wall for mounting. Ensure no obstructions to mounting or operation. Reinforce the wall if necessary, considering the charger's weight (approx. 3.23 kg with heaviest battery pack).
Mount the charger vertically or horizontally. Install two screws securely. Check screw tightness regularly to prevent the charger from falling.
Operation
Charging the Battery Pack
Battery packs are shipped with a low charge and should be charged before first use.
If the charger fails to charge a battery pack, bring both to an authorized service center.
Ensure the power supply is standard household voltage (220-240V, 50/60Hz, AC only).
Ensure the battery pack latch clicks into place and the pack is secured before charging.
[Note] When two battery packs are connected, they charge simultaneously, with current equally distributed.
[Note] The green LED remains on when a battery is fully charged. The battery pack may become slightly warm during charging.
[Note] Charge in a location where the temperature is between 10°C and 25°C.
Charging a Cool Battery Pack
- Insert the battery pack into the charging port, ensuring the latch clicks.
- Connect the product to a power supply.
- Disconnect from the power supply when charging is complete.
- Press battery pack latches to unlock and remove the pack.
Charging a Hot Battery Pack
Battery cells can become hot after continuous tool use. Allow a hot battery pack to cool for approximately 30 minutes before recharging.
Maintenance
- When not in use or cleaning, disconnect from power and remove the battery pack.
- Avoid solvents for cleaning plastic parts, as many are susceptible to commercial solvents. Use a clean cloth or soft brush for dirt and dust.
- Prevent contact with brake fluids, gasoline, petroleum-based products, or penetrating oils, as these can damage plastic.
- Hazardous voltages are present; do not disassemble.
Cleaning the Charger
- Unplug the charger power cord before cleaning to prevent injury.
- Clean the charger surface (excluding labels) with a damp cloth and mild detergent.
- Do not use strong detergents on the plastic housing, as they can be damaged by aromatic oils (pine, lemon) or solvents (kerosene).
- Wipe off any moisture with a soft dry cloth to prevent shock hazards.
Storage
Store the product in a cool, dry place between 10°C and 38°C.
