Assembly Instructions

Follow these steps to assemble the juicer attachment onto your KitchenAid Stand Mixer:

  1. Ensure the stand mixer is unplugged and turned off.
  2. Remove the attachment hub cover from the stand mixer head.
  3. Align the attachment's drive shaft with the stand mixer's power hub.
  4. Insert the attachment and twist the locking ring clockwise until it is secure. ? [Locking Mechanism]
  5. Assemble the juicer components:
    • Place the Juice Collector Bowl onto the base of the attachment.
    • Insert the Filter Basket into the Juice Collector Bowl. Ensure it sits correctly.
    • Place the Juicing Screw (Auger) into the Filter Basket.
    • Place the Lid/Cover over the juicing mechanism, aligning any tabs or notches.
    • Attach the Pusher to the Feed Chute opening.
  6. Ensure all parts are firmly in place before proceeding.

Operating Instructions

Prepare your ingredients and operate the juicer:

  1. Wash and prepare fruits and vegetables. Cut larger items into pieces that fit the feed chute. Remove pits and large seeds.
  2. Turn the stand mixer speed to the recommended setting (refer to stand mixer manual, typically speed 2-4).
  3. Turn the stand mixer ON.
  4. Slowly feed ingredients into the Feed Chute, using the Pusher to guide them down. Do not force ingredients.
  5. The juicer will extract juice into the Juice Collector Bowl and separate pulp into the Pulp Collector Bowl.
  6. Continue until all ingredients are processed.
  7. Turn the stand mixer OFF and unplug it before disassembling.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Clean the juicer attachment after each use to ensure longevity and hygiene.

  1. Unplug the stand mixer and disassemble the juicer attachment.
  2. Discard pulp from the Pulp Collector Bowl.
  3. Disassemble the juicing components (Lid, Juicing Screw, Filter Basket, Juice Collector Bowl).
  4. Rinse all parts immediately with warm water to remove excess pulp and juice.
  5. Use the provided Cleaning Brush to scrub the Filter Basket and other parts. A soft brush or sponge can be used for other components.
  6. Wash parts with mild dish soap and warm water. Rinse thoroughly.
  7. DO NOT use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
  8. DO NOT immerse the stand mixer motor unit or cord in water.
  9. Allow all parts to air dry completely or dry with a soft cloth before reassembling or storing.
  10. Some parts may be top-rack dishwasher safe (check specific product details or packaging).
