NEC MultiSync® MA Series Large Format Displays
43", 49" and 55" Commercial Displays Ideal for Digital Signage Applications
A scene depicting a modern cafe with a smiling employee. Behind the counter, two large NEC MultiSync displays show vibrant menu items and pricing, including "Marios Cafe" and "PIZZA", with prices like $4.25, $6.95, and $5.45.
Feature-rich commercial design
The feature-rich commercial design with a full metal chassis allows for seamless integration into any digital signage environment, maintaining the commercial ruggedness necessary for restaurant, command and control, corporate, and leisure signage.
Masterfully Crafted for Impactful Messaging
Create pixel-perfect imagery with the high-end panel quality of the fully commercial NEC MA Series large format displays. These displays offer impressionable digital signage experiences with a one-of-a-kind wide color gamut commercial panel coupled with proprietary SpectraView Engine capabilities for enhanced color. Customers can customize their product based on their needs and applications. The new series features a full metal mechanical chassis for a robust design suitable for commercial applications, while maintaining attractive aesthetics. Robust connectivity options and enhanced daisy chain capabilities allow for video or control signal distribution across multiple displays. The NEC MA series boasts 500 cd/m² brightness, ideal for high-end digital signage applications in restaurants, command and control, retail, museums, and corporate environments.
High-End UHD Picture Quality
By supporting native 3840 x 2160 resolution with HDR compatibility across the entire MA series lineup, imagery and messaging become more vivid and lifelike.
Full Commercial Build
The full metal chassis provides the ruggedness needed for true commercial environments, while integrated carrying handles reduce the likelihood of damage during installation. Integrated temperature sensors and active cooling fans ensure the display remains cool and maintains a constant brightness output for professional-level image output.
Wide Color Gamut Panel
The new MA series products feature fully commercial Wide Color Gamut panels, offering a broader range of viewable colors compared to traditional commercial grade panels. Coupled with NEC's proprietary SpectraView Engine technology, customers gain complete color control for industry-leading customization.
Enhanced Daisy Chain Capabilities
All MA series displays can directly daisy chain HDMI and DisplayPort input signals. The DisplayPort daisy chain is enhanced by DisplayPort 1.4 connectivity and HBR3 capabilities, supporting Multi-Stream Transport (MST). This allows up to 4 independent displays to be driven from a single DisplayPort source, ideal for menuboard and retail applications. (Note: MST capabilities depend on the video card driving the system).
Cisco Compatible Partner
Full compatibility with Cisco WebEx Kit products, a professional video conferencing tool integrating microphone(s), camera(s), speaker, and Video Conferencing Codec into a single soundbar. This, combined with the large format NEC displays, provides an ultimate conferencing solution.
Multi Picture Mode
NEC MultiSync MA series displays support multiple simultaneous images through Multi Picture Mode. In conjunction with SpectraView Engine Technology, each separate image can have different defined color settings, allowing optimization for the specific content being displayed.
Professional Modularity & Control
Professional Modularity
The MA series offers customers everything needed for digital signage applications, with the ability to enhance screens through multiple integrated professional technologies. The MA Series accepts Intel® Smart Display Modules (SDM) Large or Small, featuring clever mechanical and electrical design for sleek, all-in-one intelligence and interoperability. This allows flexible implementation of Intel® processor-based products directly into the NEC MA series products, simplifying installations with internal audio, video, control, and power signals from the Intel® SDM.
Input Detect Functionality
This feature allows customers to prioritize up to 3 inputs. If a primary source fails, the display automatically switches to the next prioritized input. The 'First Detect' option allows the display to automatically turn on when any source is plugged into it, waking the display on any synced signal.
A visual comparison shows a 'Typical Display' resulting in a blank screen if the source fails, while the 'MA Series' automatically switches to the next prioritized source, ensuring zero downtime.
Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4 and NEC Mediaplayer
The MA series expands on previous display line-ups by allowing the optional implementation of a Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4 (available Q2 2021). The Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4 offers gigabyte network speeds, faster CPU processing, and true 4K support. It comes pre-imaged with the new NEC Mediaplayer, which provides an intuitive user-interface for loading, scheduling, and editing playlists, accessing internal storage, and browsing online media. Users can also image the RPi to qualified CMS partner platforms via the supplied NEC remote control or a web-interface.
NaViSet Administrator 2
This software is an all-in-one remote support solution that runs from a central location, providing monitoring, asset management, and control functionality for NEC display devices and Windows computers. It is ideal for multi-device installations, allowing for task management, reporting, and on-demand control options to manage the entire NEC ecosystem.
