Tips
Please read before use:
- Don't use the water timer when the temperature outdoors is below 37°F (3°C), and please store the timer indoors to avoid freezing damage.
- The filter traps dirt particles, preventing them from clogging the timer. Please clean the filter regularly and replace it if worn.
- To ensure a longer lifespan, please use 2 new AAA alkaline batteries (not included). Don't mix battery types.

1. Introduction
1.1 Product Overview
The Vego Digital Water Timer is a two-zone timer that allows you to water two different areas from the same faucet. Each zone can be programmed with an independent start time, duration, and frequency.

Note: If the 3 plans are set with a same start time, the water timer executes the plan according to the priority: P>V1>V2.
The preset V1 and V2 plans come with basic irrigation timings and durations aimed at meeting fundamental watering needs. Users can enhance these settings by adding additional customized irrigation plans according to the variety of plants they grow.
- Manual Watering Time: 0 minute to 8 hours, default 10 mins.
- Water Inlet: NH (US) for 3/4" taps.
- Water Outlet: For 3/4" standard garden hose.
- Rain Delay: 24H, 48H or 72H, default 24H.
- Power By: 2 AAA (1.5V) alkaline batteries (Not Included).

2. Timer Programming
2.1 Programming The Timer
UNDERSTANDING ZONES
This is a two-zone timer allowing you to water two different areas from the same faucet. Each zone can be programmed with an independent start time, duration, and frequency.
IMPORTANT: Dual zones operating simultaneously have lower water pressure than single zones because the water pressure is divided between the two zones.
Please program each zone separately.
- First, press the ZONE button to select Zone L and complete the settings, following the steps below. Then turn the dial to ON to save the changes.
- Press the ZONE button again to select ZONE R, and follow steps 4-6 to set up. Turn the dial to ON to save all the changes.

STEP 1: INSTALLING THE BATTERIES
- Remove the battery compartment cover on the back of the timer.
- Insert 2 new AAA (1.5V) alkaline batteries (not included).
- Put the battery compartment cover back on the timer and press firmly to make sure it is completely sealed.
Notes:
- Install the battery compartment cover securely after installing the battery to ensure waterproofing.
- When the timer is not used for a long time, please remove the batteries and dispose of them properly.
- Replace batteries when the low battery indicator [Battery Icon] appears on display. After replacing, please remember to reset your watering plans.
- To ensure a longer lifespan, please use 2 new AAA alkaline batteries (not included). Don't mix new and old alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable batteries.

STEP 2: SET CLOCK
When powered on, the device will automatically enter the time setting mode. User can set the current time and date according to the following steps.

- Turn the dial to SET CLOCK.
- Use the "+" or "-" button to set the value. The setting sequence is Year → Month → Day → Hour → Minute, press "OK" to confirm.
- Long press "OK" to switch the 12H or 24H mode.
- 12H mode: With "AM" or "PM"
- 24H mode: Without "AM" or "PM"
- Turn the dial clockwise to save the changes in this STEP and go to the next STEP.
Tips:
- When the year and date are set, it will automatically synchronize the correct day of the week.
- Press and hold the "+" or "-" button to quickly change the time setting.
- When this step is completed, please turn the dial to save the changes instead of pressing the "OK" button. If you press the "OK" button after setting, it will return to the previous setting instead of saving it.

STEP 3: QUICK FUNCTIONAL TESTING
Please perform the following steps to test the device and verify its functionality before the first use or after prolonged inactivity.

- Turn the timer dial to "ON".
- Press and hold the "MANUAL" button for 3-5s to enter Manual Watering Mode.
- Press the "ZONE" button twice to select both ZONE L and ZONE R. Press "OK" to confirm a watering time to run the manual watering.

- After hearing 2 “click” sounds or waiting for about 5 seconds, the valves in the timer are open. Turn the dial to “OFF” to close the valves.
- Repeat steps 2-5 three to five times.
Note:
- If the timer valve operates normally, please proceed with the subsequent setup steps.
- If not, repeat the above steps or contact customer support for assistance.

STEP 4: SET START TIME

- Turn dial to START TIME.
- Use the "+" or "-" button to set the start time. (If you choose 12H mode, please note AM and PM).
- Use the "OK" button to confirm and switch between hours or minutes.
- After confirming a plan, press the "P" button to switch watering plans (P, V1, V2). (When switching to another plan, the settings from the previous plan are automatically saved).
- Turn the dial clockwise to save the changes in this step and go to the next step.
Tips:
- If you want to set a plan for another zone, press the “ZONE” button to switch zones.
- Press and hold the "+" or "-" button to quickly increase or decrease the time.
- Start time for Plan V1 and V2 is preset at 6:00am, press "+" or "-" button to turn the plan on or off.
- To turn off plan "P", use the "+" or "-" buttons to adjust the start time incrementally until it reaches "23:00" (24-hour mode) or "11:00 PM" (12-hour mode). Once you go past these times, "OFF" will flash on the screen. Press "OK" to confirm and deactivate the plan. When "OFF" is displayed steadily on the screen, it indicates that the plan has been successfully turned off.
- If you want to cancel the "OFF" plan, press "+" or "-" to set the start time again.
- When the setup of this step is finished, please turn the dial to save the changes instead of pressing the "OK" button. If you press the "OK" button after setting, it will return to the previous setting instead of saving it.

STEP 5: HOW LONG

- Turn dial to HOW LONG.
- Use the "+" and "-" button to set the watering duration. (The watering duration for P is from 1 minute to 3 hours 59 minutes)
- Use the "OK" button to confirm and switch between hours or minutes.
- After confirming a plan, press the "P" button to switch watering plans (P,V1,V2). (When switching to another plan, the settings from the previous plan are automatically saved)
- Turn the dial clockwise to save the changes in this step and go to the next step.
Tips:
- If you want to set a plan for another zone, press the "ZONE” button to switch zones.
- Press and hold the "+" or "-" button to quickly increase or decrease the time.
- If the plan start time is set to OFF, the water duration will also be in OFF status and can not be set.
- For plan "P", press "+" or "-" button to turn the plan on or off.
- Duration for Plan V1 and V2 is preset, you can only turn it off by going back to turn off the start time step.
- When the setup of this step is finished, please turn the dial to save the changes instead of press the "OK" button. If you press the "OK" button after setting, it will return to the previous setting instead of saving it.

STEP 6: HOW OFTEN

- Turn the dial to "HOW OFTEN".
- There are 2 setting modes for watering frequency.
- a. Day of the Week Mode
Watering plans will run every Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. [Clock Display showing Su Mo Tu We Th Fr Sa] - b. Every 2/3/4/5/6 Days Mode
Watering plans will run every 2 days. [Clock Display showing Su Mo Tu We Th Fr Sa, P, L, 2 DAYS, EVERY]
- a. Day of the Week Mode
3. Set the Day of the Week Mode.
In the default setting, Monday to Sunday are all chosen. If you want to set only one of the days, follow the steps below:
a. Use the "+" or "-" button to move to the day you want to set.
b. Su means the "Sunday" has been selected. If you want to cancel this day, press "OK”.
c. Su without [Check Mark] means "Sunday" has not been selected. If you want to select this day, please press "OK”.
d. Turn the dial clockwise to save the changes in this step and go to the next step.
4. Set the Every 2/3/4/5/6 Days Mode.
a. Press the "+" or "-" button to go past "Sa" and until "EVERY" flashes. Press "OK" to enter the Every 2/3/4/5/6 Days Mode.
b. Use the "+" or "-" button to select the frequency of days, press "OK" to confirm.
c. Turn the dial clockwise to save the changes in this step and go to the next step.
Tips:
- If you want to set a plan for another zone, press the zone button to switch zones.
- How to return to the Day of the Week Mode
On the Every 2/3/4/5/6 Days Mode, press the "OK" button until "EVERY" is flashing on screen. Then press "+" or "-" buttons to return to "Su" or "Sa" for the Day of the Week Mode.
How to set the water timer to water every day
If you want to run the watering plans every day, select every day from Monday to Sunday in the Day of the Week Mode. [Clock Display showing Su Mo Tu We Th Fr Sa] (Watering plans will run every day)
- You can only select either of the two watering frequency modes, the two modes cannot be active simultaneously.
- Water frequency can only be programmed on plan "P". Plan V1 and V2 are pre-set.
- When the setup of this step is finished, turn the dial to save the changes instead of pressing the "OK" button. If you press the "OK" button after setting, it will return to the previous setting instead of saving it.

STEP 7: VIEW SET
- Turn the dial to "VIEW SET".
- Press the "P" and "ZONE" buttons to check all settings for different plans or zones.
Tips: This water timer is a multi-schedule 2-zone watering timer.
- Each zone can have 3 different watering plans set.
- The "P" plan can be set with a custom start timer, watering duration and watering frequency.
- For plans V1 and V2, the watering schedule is pre-set.

For example:
1. The setting of P, V1, V2 for ZONE L

P starts watering at 5:00AM, and lasts for 1 hour; frequency is every 2 days.

V1 starts watering at 6:00AM, and lasts for 9 minutes; frequency is every 2 days.

V2 plan is off.
ZONE L will be watered twice every 2 days. The first time starts at 5:00 am and runs for 1 hour. The second time starts at 6:00 am and runs for 9 minutes.
2. Settings for P, V1, V2 for ZONE R

P starts watering at 1:00 PM, and lasts for 1 hour; Frequency is every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

V1 starts watering at 6:00AM, and lasts for 9 minutes; Frequency is every 2 days.

V2 plan is off
ZONE R will carry out 2 plans. On every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, it will start at 1:00 pm and water for 1 hour. And every other day, it will start at 6:00 am and water for 9 minutes.

STEP 8: AUTOMATIC WATERING
- Turn dial to "ON".
- The LCD screen will display the current time and the next watering start time in ZONE L and ZONE R.

- During watering, remaining watering time is displayed and [Watering Icon] will flash.
Note:
When the remaining watering time is under 1 hour, a countdown will be displayed in minutes. If the remaining time is less than 3 minutes, a countdown will be shown in seconds.

CONGRATULATIONS!
Your timer has now been programmed successfully! It will automatically start watering based on the programmed start time, duration and frequency.
You can now install the water timer as shown in this manual beginning from section 2.3.

2.2 Additional Functions
Rain Delay Mode
Rain delay allows you to postpone watering on both zones for a set period of time without interrupting your set watering schedule. To access the rain delay, follow the steps below.

Turn the dial to "ON", press and hold the "DELAY" button 3-5 seconds
Press the "+" or "-" button to adjust the delay watering time (24H, 48H, or 72H)
Press the "OK" button to start rain delay
- When the rain delay mode is activated, the screen will display alternately between the current time and the countdown of the remaining delay time.
- To cancel the rain delay, turn the dial to "ON", then press and hold the "DELAY" button for 3-5s again to resume your programmed watering schedule, the screen will display alternately between the current time and the next watering plan.
Note:
Please remember to press the "OK" button after selecting the rain delay time to start the rain delay program. Otherwise, the rain delay setting will automatically exit after the screen flashes for 3-5s.

Manual Watering
This function allows you to manually water without interrupting your set watering schedule. To access this feature, please follow the steps below.

Turn the dial to "ON", press and hold the "MANUAL" button 3-5s
Press the "ZONE" button to select the zone to be watered

Press the "OK" button to start manual watering
Press the "+" or "-" button to adjust the manual watering time
- Turn the dial to "ON".
- Hold the "MANUAL" button for 3-5s to enter the Manual Watering Mode.
- Select the ZONE which you would like to program by pressing the "ZONE" button.

- ZONE L is selected by default. Press the "ZONE" button once to select only ZONE R.
- Press the "ZONE" button twice to select both ZONE L and ZONE R.
- Press the "+" or "-" buttons to adjust the minutes from 0 to 59min (the default is 10 min), press "OK" to confirm and switch the setting from minutes to hour.
- Press the "+" or "-" buttons to adjust the hours from 0 to 8h, press "OK" to confirm.
- After setting the watering time, the screen stops flashing, then the timer valve will open and start manual watering after 5 seconds. The pattern [Watering Icon] will be displayed on the screen.
- If you need to stop the manual watering, please hold the "MANUAL" button for 3-5s to exit the manual watering mode and restore the original watering program. (Or you can turn the dial to "OFF" to stop the manual watering, but please remember to turn the dial to "ON" again to restore the original watering program.)
Note:
Please remember to press the "OK" button after setting the manual watering time to start manual watering. Otherwise, the manual watering setting will be automatically exited after the screen flashes for about 3-5s.

Use Only One Of The Zones

If you want to use either ZONE L or ZONE R when you set a plan, please set up as follows:
For example, only use ZONE L:
- Turn the dial to "Start Time" and press "Zone" to select ZONE R.
- Press "P" button to switch the plan you want to program, press "+" or "-" button to set the plan OFF.
- Turn the dial to "ON" to save the changes.
If you only want to use ZONE R and close ZONE L, the same applies.
TIP: If you want to turn off all plans in one Zone, make sure all P, V1 and V2 plans are set to "OFF" state at the same time, otherwise, some plans may still run.
Safety Lock Function

- On the standby screen, click the "+" button and "-" at the same time, when the safety lock is in effect, the button and dial operation is disabled.
- When the safety lock is on, click the "+" and "-" buttons at the same time, then the safety lock will turn off, the button and dial operation will be restored.

Low Battery Indication
Battery status will be displayed as follows.

Note:
When the low battery indicator [Battery Icon] appears on display, the valve will close automatically to avoid leakage. Please replace the battery in a timely manner to avoid interrupting normal operation.
Off Mode
- If you want to stop all watering plans for an extended period, turn the dial to "OFF". (Your settings are saved)
- The timer will not water automatically while in OFF mode. (The screen will display the word OFF in large letters)
- To start watering automatically again, turn the dial back to "ON" to resume your programmed watering schedule.

2.3 Installing The Timer

- Turn off the faucet.
- Wrap plumbing tape around the faucet threads.
- Screw the timer to the faucet and orient the display as upright as possible to prevent rainwater from leaking into the interior.
- Wrap plumbing tape around the threads of the timer outlet.
- Screw the hose to the timer outlet.
- Turn on the faucet after programming has been finished.
Tips: If the connection between the timer and the faucet or hose is loose or leaking, add additional plumbing tape to tighten the connection.
Notes:
- Please do not use tools, only install the timer by hand.
- When expecting freezing temperatures, timers should be removed from the hose faucet and stored indoors to avoid potential freeze damage.
- Please install the filter properly and keep it clean as follows.

2.4 Cleaning Your Timer
After a period of use, impurities or dirt in the water may accumulate in the timer. Therefore, the timer should be cleaned regularly to ensure its proper operation. Please follow these steps to clean the timer.
- Turn off the garden faucet and remove the timer. Check whether the filter at the timer water inlet has accumulated impurities.
- If the filter is dirty, please take it out of the timer and rinse it with running water.

- Turn on the Manual Watering Mode of the timer to open the valve and check whether the water pipe of the timer is blocked. If it is blocked, please clean it gently with a small cleaning brush.

3. Precautions
- For outdoor use only. Placing the timer in a sheltered area will prolong its lifetime.
- To avoid damage, hand tighten rather than using tools.
- The filter should be placed horizontally in the water inlet to prevent leakage.
- When low on power, please replace the batteries to avoid the interruption of normal operation; when replacing the batteries, ensure that the battery tray is dry.
- When the timer is not in use, please remove the batteries and store it indoors.
- Don't use the timer when temperatures are more than 120°F (50°C), or less than 38°F (3°C).
- Don't subject the product to extreme force and shock.
- Severe electrical shock could result if water is sprayed into outlets or sources of electrical current. Never submerge the product in water.
This product conforms to the national standards of the United States, Britain, Germany and France. Please use this product correctly. If it needs to be discarded, please properly dispose according to the national requirements. Please protect the environment.
Troubleshooting
