Activities for which this PPE has been designed This product has been designed for horse-riding. It is not suitable for any other use. This is a Level 2 PPE garment. This vest has been designed to protect against mechanical impact by activating the airbag in the event of a fall. Impact protection is only guaranteed when the vest is inflated. No protective garment or vest can offer full protection against injury. Any modification or misuse of the airbag vest will have a dangerous impact on its performance. Terms of use This airbag vest may not be used by riders weighing less than 20 kg. Do not wear a backpack on top of the airbag. Wear the airbag on top of all items of clothing. Wearing the airbag under clothing may reduce its performance. Designed for use at temperatures between -5°C à 40°C. Only use DECATHLON-certified cartridges. Setting up the airbag The user is responsible for attaching the saddle strap to the stirrup bars on either side of the saddle. Always attach the saddle strap to the saddle stirrup bars. The attachment strap must be connected to the saddle strap. If the saddle strap is attached to any other element, there is a serious risk that the vest will fail to inflate in the event of a fall. The protector should be stored in a dry, ventilated environment away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and sharp objects. Do not expose clothing to chemical substances, dangerous substances or fires which may contaminate the product and adversely affect the level of protection provided by these products. Store flat or on a hanger. Never fold the vest as this may damage the inflatable bladder. Store the gas canisters at a maximum temperature of 40°C. Caution Check that the product is in good condition before each use (no tears, sign of wear etc.) An airbag vest is designed to be used several times. The anticipated service life of this product is 4 years although this will be affected by product use and the type of falls experienced. If you notice damage to the stitching, torn straps or broken plastic parts, you should refrain from using the product and replace it immediately. If the seams / main fabric / lining are damaged, exposing the inflatable bladder, then the vest cannot be used and must be replaced immediately. The noise generated by the triggering mechanism may cause the horses to panic.
