To achieve the best performance from your RRNUY A86 speaker, please read this instruction manual carefully before use and keep it for future reference.

CAUTION: RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK, DO NOT OPEN.

To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not open this device. There are no serviceable parts for customers. Please refer any maintenance or repair to qualified personnel.

Please follow these instructions carefully:

  13. Battery Usage CAUTION: To prevent battery leakage which may result in bodily injury, property damage, or damage to the remote control:
    • Install all batteries correctly, noting the '+' and '-' markings.
    • Do not mix batteries (old and new, or carbon and alkaline, etc.).
    • Remove batteries when the remote control is not used for a long time.
    • Do not expose batteries (battery pack or batteries) to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire, or the like.
  14. Apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing.
  15. Do not place any sources of danger on the apparatus (e.g., liquid-filled objects, lighted candles).
  16. Where the MAINS plug or an appliance coupler is used as the disconnect device, the disconnect device shall remain readily operable.

Get Started

Use of controls or adjustments or performance of procedures other than herein may result in hazardous radiation exposure or other unsafe operation.

Always follow the instructions in this chapter in sequence.

Connect Power

Risk of product damage! Ensure that the power supply voltage corresponds to the voltage printed on the back or underside of the unit.

Risk of electric shock! When unplugging the AC power cord, always pull the plug from the socket. Never pull the cord.

Before connecting the AC power cord, ensure all other connections are completed.

Turn ON/OFF the Speaker

It is recommended not to use the speaker connected to the electrical network continuously, as this affects the useful life of the battery.

Once the battery is fully charged, press the power button on the top control panel to start the speaker.

If you do not use this unit for a while, long-press the "POWER" button to the "OFF" status and disconnect the AC power cable.

Charging the Internal Battery

The speaker comes with a built-in rechargeable battery. Follow these steps to charge it:

  1. Connect the power cable and plug it into the wall socket on the rear panel.
  2. The POWER button light will turn red while charging.
  3. When the battery is fully charged, the POWER button light will turn blue, and the light will turn off automatically. Unplug the power cable to stop charging.

Please fully charge the product when it is not going to be used for a long time, and charge it once a month to maintain battery life.

Play - Basic Button Operations

You can control playback using the following buttons:

MIC/GT VOL ECHO/REVERB knob(1) Press first and second time to adjust the sound of microphone and Guitar. (2) Press third time to turn on microphone echo; use the main volume knob to adjust echo sound. (3) Press fourth time to turn on microphone reverb; use the main volume knob to adjust reverb sound.
BT button ?Press this button to switch to Bluetooth mode.
Lights Control buttonPress this button to switch between different light effects.
MIC PRI button ?When a microphone is in use, press to set microphone priority over music. This will dim the background music. Press again to turn off the function.
MIC VOCAL button ?Press this button to decrease the human voice in music.
EQ button ?️Press this button to switch between EQ presets: ROCK, FLAT, CLASSIC, JAZZ, POP, BASS modes.
REC button ?Press this REC button to start recording music and MIC source to a connected USB device (when in BT/AUX mode). The display will show "REC".
PLAY button ▶️Press this PLAY button to play the content recorded on USB. Press again to exit while playing the recorded file.
Main Volume knobRotate clockwise to increase volume, counterclockwise to decrease. The display shows the corresponding volume value.
MIC TONE button ?Press this MIC TONE button to select the bass and treble of the microphone.
MIC TONE- / TONE+ buttons ?Press the TONE+ and TONE- buttons to increase or decrease the bass and treble sound of the microphone.
Pause/Resume button ⏸️ / ▶️Press this button to pause music; press again to resume play. Long press to disconnect the Bluetooth connection.
Previous Button ◀️Press this button for the previous track in USB/BT mode.
Next Button ▶️Press this button for the next track in USB/BT mode.
MODE button ?Press the M button to switch between Bluetooth (BT), USB, and AUX modes.
Power On/OffPress to turn on the speaker; long press to turn off the speaker.
AUX Input ?Connect to external devices through the Aux-in cable.
USB Input ?Insert USB memory devices to play compatible MP3 files.
MIC Input jack ?Microphone Input jack (6.35mm).
GUITAR Input jack ?Guitar Input jack (6.35mm).

Connectivity Options

6. Connect with Bluetooth ?

  1. Press the M button to switch to BLUETOOTH CONNECT mode; "(BT)" will be displayed on the screen.
  2. Open Bluetooth on your external device (it must have Bluetooth functionality). The name "A86" should appear; connect to it.
  3. Once connected, you will hear a small sound from the speaker.
  4. You can use the ◀️ or ▶️ buttons on the Top Control panel to control tracks of the external device.

Note: This speaker does not require a password for Bluetooth connection.

7. Connect with AUX Line In ?

  1. Press the M button to switch to AUX (Line) mode; "(AUX)" will be displayed on the screen.
  2. Connect this speaker to the AUX input jack and the external device's earphone jack using the provided AUX cable.
  3. Once connected, play music from your external device.
  4. You can use the ◀️ or ▶️ buttons on the Top Control panel to control tracks of the external device.

Caution: Please turn off the unit before connecting the AUX cable to avoid unexpected noise.

8. Play from USB ?

Ensure that the USB storage device contains playable audio in supported MP3 format.

  1. Insert the USB storage device into the "USB" socket on the speaker.
  2. Press the ◀️ or ▶️ buttons to select a track.
  3. Press the ▶️/⏸️ button to play or pause.

9. Connect with Microphone/Guitar ??

Insert a 6.35mm wired microphone to play with the microphone.

Insert a 6.35mm wired guitar to play with the guitar.

Press the MIC/GT VOL/ECHO REVERB knob and rotate it to adjust the level of volume, echo, and reverb for the microphone.

Press the MIC TONE button to adjust the level of treble/bass for the microphone.

When playing with the microphone, press the MIC PRI button to enable microphone priority.

Important Notes for Microphone Use

While using the microphone, avoid positioning the microphone opposite the speaker's bass, as this may cause whistling noise.

For the best singing performance, keep the microphone within 5-15cm of your mouth and at a 45-degree angle.

Caution: Please do not point the microphone directly at the speaker, as it may damage the speaker.

11. Troubleshooting

Warning: Never remove the casing of this speaker.

If you encounter problems when using this speaker, check the following points before requesting service:

No Sound or Poor Sound

No Response from the Speaker
