Connect to a Wi-Fi Network

The Notification bar displays icons indicating your tablet's Wi-Fi status: [Wi-Fi signal indicator] for an open network in range, [Wi-Fi signal indicator with waves] for a connected network (waves indicate connection strength), or [no icon] if there are no Wi-Fi networks in range or the Wi-Fi radio is off.

If the network is open, the tablet will prompt you to confirm connection. Tap "Connect" to confirm.

If the network is secured (indicated by a [Lock icon]), you will be prompted to enter a password. Tap the Wireless password box to show the on-screen keyboard, enter the password, and tap "Connect" to confirm.
