Product Overview
This document provides instructions for the Energizer Connect EIS2-1000-RGB Smart Wifi LED Light Strip, a 6.5-foot multi-color and single white LED light strip designed for smart home integration.
Getting Started and Setup
To begin using your Energizer Connect LED Light Strip, ensure your mobile device is connected to your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. Download the Energizer Connect app from your device's app store. Open the app and follow the on-screen instructions to create an account.
Pairing Your Light Strip
The light strip supports EZ Pairing mode for quick setup. To enter EZ Pairing mode:
- Ensure the light strip is powered on.
- Turn the light strip off and then on again consecutively 5 times.
LED Behavior: Upon successful entry into EZ Pairing mode, the LED Light Strip should begin blinking red rapidly, approximately 4 times per second. ?
Important Note: The pairing mode may time out after 3 minutes. If this occurs, repeat the power cycling process to re-enter pairing mode.
Product Features and Operation
Manual Power and Reset Button
The light strip is equipped with a manual power button that also serves as a reset button. ⚙️ Pressing this button controls the power state of the light strip and can be used to initiate a reset or enter pairing modes.
Troubleshooting Common Issues
Light Strip Not Entering Pairing Mode
If you encounter difficulties getting the light strip into EZ Pairing mode, please verify the following:
- Confirm your mobile device is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network, as the light strip is not compatible with 5GHz networks for initial setup.
- Repeat the power cycling sequence (turn off and on 5 times) carefully.
