1. Important Safety Instructions

Hearing Safety

Ensure you follow the guidelines below when using your headphones:

• Listen at reasonable volumes for reasonable periods of time.
• Be careful not to continuously adjust the volume upwards as your hearing adapts.
• Do not turn up the volume so high that you cannot hear what is around you.
• You should use caution or temporarily discontinue use in potentially hazardous situations.
• Excessive sound pressure from earphones and headphones can cause hearing loss.
• Using headphones with both ears covered while driving is not recommended and may be illegal in some areas.
• For your safety, avoid distractions from music or phone calls while in traffic or other potentially hazardous environments.

To avoid damage or malfunction:

Operating and Storage Temperatures and Humidity:

• Store the product in an environment with temperatures between -20°C (-4°F) and 50°C (122°F) and a maximum relative humidity of 90%.
• Operate the product in an environment with temperatures between 0°C (32°F) and 45°C (113°F) and a maximum relative humidity of 90%.
• High or low temperatures may shorten battery life.

Battery Charging

Headphones

Place the headphones in the charging case.

• The headphones will start charging, and the white LED indicator will light up.
• When the headphones are fully charged, the white LED indicator will turn off.

Charging Case

Connect one end of the USB-C charging cable to the charging case and the other end to a power source.

Wearing Your Headphones

Choose the right ear tips for optimal wearing comfort.

A secure and tight fit helps provide optimal sound quality and noise cancellation.

1. Test which size of ear tips provides the best sound quality and wearing comfort.
2. Three sizes of replaceable ear tips are included: large, medium, and small.

Inserting the Headphones

1. Check the left and right orientation of the headphones.
2. Insert the headphones into your ears and gently twist until they fit securely.

App Download

Scan the QR code or click the "Download" button, or search for "Philips Headphones" in the Apple App Store or Google Play to download the application.

First Time Pairing with a Bluetooth Device

1. Ensure the headphones are fully charged and powered off.
2. Open the charging case lid; the headphones will enter pairing mode, ready to connect.

• The LED indicators on both headphones will flash white and blue alternately.
• The headphones are now in pairing mode and can be paired with a Bluetooth device (e.g., a mobile phone).

4. Using Your Headphones

Connecting to a Bluetooth Device

1. Turn on the Bluetooth function of your Bluetooth device.
2. Open the charging case lid.

• The blue LED indicator will flash.
• The headphones will search for the last connected Bluetooth device and automatically reconnect to it. If the last connected device is not available, the headphones will search for and reconnect to the second last connected device.

Controlling ANC (Active Noise Cancellation)

Different noise cancellation modes can be switched by double-tapping the left earbud.

• When wearing the headphones, the noise cancellation function will automatically activate.
• Double-tap the multi-function button, and the headphones will turn off the noise cancellation function.
• Double-tap the multi-function button again, and the headphones will switch to Ambient Sound mode.

5. Resetting Your Headphones

If you encounter any pairing or connection issues, you can reset the headphones to factory settings by following these steps:

1. Go to the Bluetooth menu of your Bluetooth device and remove "Philips TAT3508" from the device list.
2. Turn off the Bluetooth function of your Bluetooth device.
3. Place the headphones back into the charging case and open the charging case lid.
4. Press the button on the charging case twice.
5. Follow the steps in "Using Your Headphones - Connecting to a Bluetooth Device".
6. Pair the headphones with your Bluetooth device, selecting "Philips TAT3508".

If the headphones are unresponsive, you can perform a hardware reset by following these steps:

• Place the headphones back into the charging case, open the lid, and long-press the button on the case for more than 10 seconds.

9. Frequently Asked Questions

Bluetooth headphones cannot power on.

The battery is low. Charge the headphones.

Bluetooth headphones cannot pair with a Bluetooth device.

Bluetooth function is not enabled. Before turning on the headphones, turn on the Bluetooth function on your device.

Cannot pair.

• Place both headphones into the charging case.
• Ensure that any previously connected Bluetooth devices are disabled.
• Go to the Bluetooth device, remove "Philips TAT3508" from the Bluetooth list.
• Pair the headphones (refer to "First Time Pairing with a Bluetooth Device" on page 6).

Bluetooth device cannot find the headphones.

• The headphones may be connected to a previously paired device. Turn off the connected device or move it out of range.
• Pairing may have been reset, or the headphones may have been previously paired with another device. Re-pair the headphones with the Bluetooth device according to the instructions in the user manual (refer to "First Time Pairing with a Bluetooth Device" on page 6).

Bluetooth headphones are connected to a Bluetooth stereo-enabled mobile phone, but music can only be played through the mobile phone speaker.

Refer to your mobile phone's user manual. Select to listen to music through the headphones.

Sound quality is poor, or crackling can be heard.

• The Bluetooth device is out of range. Shorten the distance between the headphones and the Bluetooth device, or remove any obstacles between them.
• Charge the headphones.

When the mobile phone transmission is slow, or audio transmission is not possible at all, the sound quality is very poor.

Ensure your mobile phone supports not only (mono) HFP but also A2DP, and is compatible with BT4.0x (or higher version) (refer to "Technical Data" on page 11).
