SAR Information
Your mobile device is a radio transmitter and receiver designed to comply with international radio wave exposure guidelines. These guidelines, developed by ICNIRP, include safety margins for all individuals.
The Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) limit for mobile devices is 2 W/kg. The highest SAR value tested for this device at the ear is 0.83 W/kg, and when worn on the body is 1.08 W/kg.
For body-worn operation, the device was tested using an accessory with no metal and positioned a minimum of 5 mm from the body. Compliance may vary with other accessories.
The actual SAR while operating is typically below the indicated value due to automatic power level adjustments. The World Health Organization states that current scientific information does not indicate a need for special precautions for mobile device use. To reduce exposure, limit call duration or use a hands-free device to keep the phone away from your head.
* Tests are conducted in accordance with international testing guidelines.
Laser (Proximity Sensor)
Do not stare into the proximity sensor. It may temporarily affect eyesight, leading to accidents.
This device is classified as a CLASS 1 LASER PRODUCT.
Volume Level Caution
To prevent possible hearing damage, do not listen at high volume levels for long periods.
Warranty Card
Warranty Coverage
SHARP provides a Product Warranty Statement for legally authorized SHARP products purchased from SHARP or an authorized reseller. SHARP does not offer a worldwide repair warranty.
The warranty is for one year from the date of purchase, valid upon presentation of proof of purchase, covering failures under normal environmental conditions.
For natural damage or failure within the warranty period (not excluded by liability exclusions), SHARP will provide free "Repair Service." Repaired machines receive the same warranty period as the original purchase, which is not extended.
For products exceeding the warranty period or damaged by human error, a three-month warranty is provided for the same problem. "Repair Service" involves one-to-one part replacement to restore normal operation; replaced parts become SHARP property.
Warranty Period for Consumable/Expendable Items:
- Removable batteries: 6 months
- Non-removable batteries: 12 months
- Other accessories (cables, headphones, power adapters): 6 months
Disclaimer
The warranty is void if the serial number on the device casing is torn off or improperly altered. Unauthorized removal or alteration of identification labels on parts with serial numbers will also void the warranty on those parts.
Warranty Exclusions
SHARP Warranty does not apply under the following circumstances:
- Failure due to improper use, negligent operation, improper installation, maintenance, disassembly, or repair by unauthorized persons, or unauthorized modification using non-SHARP parts.
- Improper courier transportation (e.g., poor packaging, drop, or collision during delivery).
- Damage caused by natural or man-made disasters (e.g., typhoons, fires, floods, lightning).
- Damage caused by accidents (e.g., liquid splashing, chemicals, high temperature, voltage surge, poor power supply).
- Damage from natural wear and tear, third-party software issues, or virus/malware.
- System instability or security risks resulting from users modifying the system files or using unofficial ROM system updates.
SHARP Liability Limitations
SHARP does not provide data rescue or backup services and is not responsible for data loss.
