Battery and Work Status Display

The OLED screen displays the remaining battery level from 0%-100% in 5 equal parts. During charging, the battery level will flash, and the OLED screen will show a dynamic charging icon and power percentage. When fully charged, a static 100% power icon appears for 3 minutes. The light can be used while charging, but for optimal battery life, it's recommended not to use it during charging.

Work Status Display

The display shows:

• Currently selected lighting mode: APP customized mode, Smart mode, Constant mode, Flash mode.
• Remaining battery percentage: Indicated by bars representing 100%-80%, 79%-60%, 59%-40%, 39%-20%, 19%-0%.
• Available runtime
• Lumen

Connect with the App

App Connection: iOS users can scan the QR code in the manual. Android users can download the app from the Magicshine website (SUPPORT > User Manual > App Download for Android). 1. Turn on your smartphone's Bluetooth and open the Magicshine app. 2. Click "Add New Devices" and find "M1-B3". 3. Click "Add", then click "Connect the device".

App Settings: 1. Click "Add" to enter the "Device Settings" interface. 2. Customize "Constant mode," "SOS," "Slow flash," and "Quick flash," along with their brightness levels. 3. Up to 20 customized modes are supported. If all customized modes are deleted, the light will revert to the factory default mode.

How to Install

Install on Handlebar

1. Attach the mount to the handlebar.
2. Secure the mount using the provided hex key.
3. Align the light with the mount.
4. Slide the light onto the mount.
5. Secure the light by turning it until it clicks into place.

Remove the Battery

1. Press the release button.
2. Slide the battery out of the light unit.

Headlight Button Instructions

Lockout/Unlock:

When the light is off, press and hold the switch for 3 seconds to enter lockout mode. In lockout mode, a click of the switch displays the "LOCKOUT" icon for 3 seconds. To unlock, press and hold the switch again for 3 seconds or charge the light.

On/Off:

Press and hold the switch to turn the light on/off. The default output is the last mode used when turned off.

Adjust Brightness:

When the light is on, click the switch to cycle through brightness levels: LOW → MEDIUM → HIGH. In flash mode, it cycles through SLOW FLASH and QUICK FLASH.

Change Mode:

Double-click the switch to change between constant and flash modes.

Smart Mode:

During the daytime, the DRL (Daytime Running Light) is always on, and the main light is off. At nighttime, both the DRL and the main light turn on. Smart mode is off by default and can be activated via the app. In the factory default mode, if the light sensor is on, the OLED screen will display the smart mode icon.

Sleep Mode:

The light enters sleep mode after 5 minutes of inactivity and can be reactivated by any vibration. Sleep mode is off by default and can be activated through the app.

Low Power Mode:

When the battery power drops below 10%, the light automatically switches to LOW mode and cannot be adjusted. Charge the light as soon as possible.

Remote Control Instructions

Pairing:

Turn on the light. Press and hold the "O" and "□" buttons on the remote for about 10 seconds until the indicator flashes blue alternately, indicating pairing mode. Then, bring the remote close to the light. The "⇌" icon will appear on the OLED screen for 2 seconds, and the remote's indicator will be solid blue for 2 seconds, confirming successful pairing.

Remote Control Operation:

• ON/OFF: Press and hold the "O"/"□" button for 1 second.
• Adjust Brightness: Click the "O" button.
• Change Mode: Double-click the "O" button.
• Full Output Mode (1500LM): Click the "□" button to enter Full Output Mode. Click the "O"/"□" button to return to the previous mode.
• Check Battery Level: Click the "O"/"□" button.

In lockout mode, pressing the "O"/"□" button will display the LOCKOUT icon on the OLED screen, and the light will not turn on.

Output / Runtime

* All data are measured in accordance with ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009. Tests were conducted at 25°C and 25 km/h wind speed. Runtime may vary based on external temperature and ventilation conditions.

Battery Indicator

Click the switch on the light unit to display the remaining battery percentage for 2 seconds. Standard charging time is approximately 3 hours (5V, 2A).

Warranty

The Magicshine lighting system is warranted for 24 months from the date of purchase. Registering the system on the Magicshine website grants an additional 6-month warranty. Battery packs and AC adapters have a 6-month warranty with no bonus extension.

The warranty covers defects in material and workmanship of the lighting system, battery pack, and AC adapter. It is valid only if the parts have not been tampered with and show no intentional damage. Keep your proof of purchase in a safe place for warranty claims.
