Usage Instructions

The power booster has an easy-to-read, color-coded battery meter indicating charge level. A 12V DC cigarette lighter-type socket is provided for appliances that operate from a vehicle cigarette lighter, offering maximum portability and utility when mains power is unavailable. The jump starter can also be recharged with the included 230V AC adapter/charger. A covered cigarette lighter type 12V DC socket is also provided. The red LED illuminates when the battery is recharging.

Recharging

For maximum battery life, keep the power booster fully charged at all times. Allowing the battery to remain discharged may shorten its lifespan. The table shows the relationship between recharge frequency and expected charge/recharge cycles.

This unit MUST be charged every 3 months, whether used or not. Each charging session should not exceed 36 hours. Keep it in normal condition.

Operation

AC Adapter/Charger Charging

Plug the adapter/charger into an AC power outlet and connect the other (DC 12V output) end into the receptacle (beside DC charging LED No. 11, see Figure 1) on the front panel of your power booster until the battery meter shows full (14 to 15 DC).

12V DC/DC Power Cord Charging

Insert the 12V DC/DC adapter/charger cigarette lighter plug (No. 8, see Figure 1) into a 12V DC cigarette lighter receptacle on your vehicle or boat. Connect the other (output) end into the receptacle (beside DC charging LED No. 11, see Figure 1) on the front panel of your power booster until the battery meter shows full (14 to 15V DC).
