Installation and Wiring Guide

1. English (EN)
1.1 Description
Smoke detector for early fire detection with visual signal on the detector itself via red LED. Includes mounting base.
1.2 Mounting
Product Dimensions:
- Side View: The detector is cylindrical with a base. Approximate dimensions: Diameter 100.4 mm, Height 46.50 mm.
- Top View: Shows the detector's top surface with mounting holes and internal features. Approximate dimensions: Outer Diameter 100.4 mm, Mounting hole circle diameter 65.00 mm, Individual mounting hole diameter 4.20 mm. Internal spacing dimensions of 72 mm and 60 mm are indicated.
Note: Installation must always be horizontal, beneath the ceiling.
1.3 Wiring
Detector Interconnection (Daisy-chaining):
Detectors are connected in series using "COM", "IN", and "OUT" terminals. The diagram shows connections for a "Last auto. detector" and a "First auto. detector".
Connection to Central Unit:
For connection to a smoke panel or RWA-Zentrale (central unit), refer to the specific instruction manuals for those systems. The diagrams show connection points labeled X and Y, with a note indicating that if a resistor is installed in the RWA-Zentrale, the resistor needs to be moved to the last detector in the chain.
Endmodules and Resistors:
The wiring diagrams reference the use of WSC 204, WSC 310**, and WSC 320** active endmodules, as well as WSC 5xx 10kΩ resistors. Specific instructions for WSC 310/320 are noted.
VdS Approval: The device has VdS Approval No: G204039.
1.4 LED Status

1.5 Important Information
- The packaging can be disposed of together with ordinary household waste.
- Electrical products must be disposed of in conformity with national regulations for electronic waste and not with usual household waste.
