Key Functions
PHONE BUTTON
Accepting or ending a call and pausing music. You will hear the incoming call tone even when you play music. The music will pause when you accept the call (press once) and resume when you end the call. Press and hold during an incoming call to reject the call. Press once to pause music. Press again to resume music.
LIGHT BUTTON
Setting the lighting mode. Press once to cycle between these 5 modes: slow transition between all LED colors, solid white, dancing mode, solid LED, blinking white. Double press the light button to turn off the light. When the light is off, press the button once more to turn on the light.
PREVIOUS SONG / LOWER VOLUME
Press once to go to the previous song. Press and hold to decrease volume.
POWER
Press and hold to power on/off.
NEXT SONG / RAISE VOLUME
Press once to skip to the next track. Press and hold to raise volume.
AUX
Insert the aux cable into this port.
TYPE C CHARGING PORT
Insert the USB cable into this port to charge the speaker.
REMOVABLE STAKE PORT
Insert the stake into the bottom of the speaker to use outdoors. There are 2 pieces that create 1 adjustable stake. The stake can be inserted into sand, snow or dirt.
Instructions
Powering On / Off
Press and hold the speaker's ON / OFF button. Please make sure the speaker is charged sufficiently.
Pairing the Device
The speaker will automatically enter pairing mode when turned on. A blue light indicates that you have entered pairing mode. Enable Bluetooth® on the device you want to connect the speaker to and connect your device to IJOY TIKI+. If a PIN is required, enter 0000. TIKI+ will automatically reconnect with a device it was previously connected to. However, it will not automatically reconnect if the distance between the device and the speaker exceeds 32ft. If there is no device to connect to, TIKI+ will turn off after 10 minutes.
True Wireless Stereo Function (requires 2 TIKI+)
TWS allows you to sync 2 TIKI+. One will be left stereo audio, the other will be right stereo audio. Make sure neither TIKI+ are connected to any device. Power on both and double click the phone button of one speaker. The speakers will connect with each other. A quickly blinking blue indicator light on one of the speakers and a slowly blinking one on the other along with an indicator tone will indicate that both speakers have paired with each other. Enable Bluetooth® on the device you want to connect the speaker to and connect your device to IJOY TIKI+. The hands-free function is only available on the master speaker.
Connecting to an Analog Source
Connect the aux cable with the speaker and an appropriate audio source. A green light will indicate success. The pause music function is not available. It will only mute if pressed.
Charging
Connect the USB Charging Cable with the speaker and an appropriate charging source. A red light will indicate that the speaker is charging and turn off when charging is complete.
Troubleshooting
If there is sound distortion: Check if there is a 2.4 GHz device near the speaker or the Bluetooth® device.
Battery Caution
The battery used in this device may present a risk of fire, explosion or chemical burn if used incorrectly. Never use or charge the battery if it appears to be leaking, discolored, deformed or in any way abnormal. Never disassemble the unit or attempt to remove the battery as that could cause leakage of alkaline solution or other electrolytic substances. Never expose the battery to any liquid. Never expose the battery to excessive heat such as direct light or fire. Always keep the battery out of the reach of infants and small children.
Battery Disposal
Please do not attempt to change the battery yourself. If the battery has died, you should follow the disposal instructions listed here. Never dispose of used batteries/electronics with ordinary solid wastes. Always dispose of used batteries/electronics in accordance with the prevailing community regulations that apply to the disposal of batteries/electronics. If there are no local regulations concerning battery/electronics disposal, please dispose of the device in a waste bin for electronic devices. Many electronics retailers now recycle batteries and other electronic components at no charge.
