Key and Slot Functions
The TG-166 is a compact, rectangular portable wireless speaker with rounded edges.
Ports and Controls
- (1) DC 5V Charging Port: Use the standard Micro USB V8 charging cable for power charging.
- (2) TF Card Slot: Insert a TF card to decode and play MP3 format audio.
- (3) USB Slot: Insert a USB card to decode and play MP3 format audio.
- (4) Power Switch: Slide to ON for power on, slide to OFF for power off.
- (5) Play/Pause/Call Button (M): In music mode (TF, USB, Wireless), short press for play/pause. In FM mode, short press to auto-scan stations; press again to stop scanning. When connected wirelessly to a phone and a call comes in, short press to answer/end the call, double press to redial.
- (6) Previous Song/Volume Down Button: In music mode, short press for previous song, long press to decrease volume.
- (7) Next Song/Volume Up Button: In music mode, short press for next song, long press to increase volume.
- (8) Mode Switch Button (M): In music mode (TF, USB, Wireless, FM), short press to switch between modes.
TWS Pairing
- With two speakers powered on wirelessly and not connected to a phone, long press the 'M' button (Mode switch) on one speaker for 2-3 seconds until a prompt is heard and its indicator light stops flashing. This indicates successful TWS pairing.
- Then, connect your phone to the paired speakers.
Note for FM Mode
- For better FM radio reception, plug in the charging cable.
