Introduction
Thank you for choosing MEELOD products. To ensure your safety and health, please use this E-bike correctly. It is important to read this entire manual before assembling and using the equipment. Safe and effective use can only be assured if the E-bike is assembled, maintained, and used properly. It is your responsibility to ensure that all users of the E-bike are informed of all warnings and precautions. Before each ride, especially if you may travel a long distance, inspect your e-bike.
IMPORTANT Safety Checks
- Check the tires for proper inflation and cracks. Keeping tires properly inflated and maintained helps prevent flats and damage.
- Check all cables and cable housings for fraying, breaks, rust, or corrosion and replace if necessary.
- Check the brakes to ensure they are working properly. Check brake pads for any damage, as they wear over time and will eventually need replacement.
- Check all nuts and bolts are taut and properly fastened to prevent injury and unnecessary wear.
- Do not dismantle or assemble e-bike components without proper knowledge.
- Comply with local laws and regulations when riding. Do not ride where prohibited by local laws.
- To reduce risk of injury, read and follow all "CAUTION" and "WARNING" notices. Do not ride at an unsafe speed. Do not ride on roads with motor vehicles.
- Anyone whose weight exceeds the limits (see Specifications) is prohibited from riding.
- Use only approved parts and accessories. Do not modify your E-bike, as modifications could interfere with operation and result in serious injury.
- The E-bike cannot be used as an off-road vehicle or for extreme cycling sports.
- Do not change the default speed setting for safety. Wear a helmet and protective gear when riding.

Working Principle
Electric Pedal Bicycle: This is a green and environmentally friendly mode of transport, functioning with pure electric drive combined with electric power, pedal, and pedal drive.
Electric drive: Press the throttle on the handlebar; the controller receives the speed control command and allocates the corresponding power output by the motor.
Electric power with pedal: When the power is turned on, by stepping on the pedal, the controller reads the rotation signal of the sprocket sensor and controls the motor to output the corresponding power.
Pedal drive: When the power is OFF, you can pedal and have a cycling trip.

Riding Safety
Operation
- Before riding, check that vehicle fasteners are not loose or abnormal, and that electrical components are not abnormal. Only ride when there is no abnormality.
- Electric bicycle users must abide by local traffic laws and regulations and pay attention to driving safety.
- It is recommended to wear a helmet when riding. When riding in rain or snow, the braking distance will be extended. Slow down in heavy rain and other bad weather, and try to avoid traveling.
- Do not park electric bicycles in building entrance halls, evacuation corridors, walkways, or exits of security doors.
- Electric bicycles should not be charged or parked in residential buildings. When charging, keep away from combustibles. Charging time should not be too long. The charger's red light indicates charging; green light indicates fully charged.
- Do not use a powerful faucet to rinse. Avoid direct water rinsing of electrical components and the battery box.
- It is forbidden to use wet hands to touch metal conductors or live parts of the electric bicycle, such as the battery box socket, connecting wire socket, or charger power socket.
- Used batteries should not be dismantled without authorization and should be handed over to relevant professional departments for recycling.
Installation and Adjustment
How to install the front wheel
- Adjust the position of the front wheel hub parts.
- Arrange one anti-rotation plate on each side of the wheel, with the boss facing outward.
- Align the front fork and the axle in the center of the wheel, ensuring the axles on both sides are inserted into the front fork.
- Install the anti-slip screws, washers, and cap nuts on each side in sequence.
- Tightening torque of anti-slip screws: MAX 6-8N.M. Tightening torque of cap nuts: MAX 45-55N.M.
- Loosen the motor cable connector. Align the "arrow" mark on both sides of the plug, push and connect both sides of the plug, then lock the connector.
How to install the Handlebar
Arrange the gear shifter and brake cables. Insert the stem into the head tube, tighten the headset screws. Align the handlebars to the tires at a 90° angle, and tighten the fixing screws on both sides from the stem. Torque: ≈ 8M.N.
Warning: Before each ride, please ensure the frame lock, seat post lock, and head tube lock are locked completely. Check that the brake system is normal and that the tires are fully inflated to ensure safe riding.
The angle of the handlebar can be adjusted by twisting the 4 screws at the front end of the stem. The locking sequence is diagonal. It is recommended to adjust the brake handle to a comfortable angle of 25°-30°.
How to install headlight
Plug in the corresponding waterproof cable connectors: orange to orange, green to green. Use tools to tighten the screws to fix them on the bracket. The tightening torque is ≈ 8m.N.
Connector identification: The connector in orange color with a red circle is the right side indicator connector, and the green one is the light connector.
Warning: Please pay attention to the "arrow" marks; they must be aligned on both sides of the connector when plugging to avoid damaging the internal precision pins.
How to install the pedal
Distinguish between the crank side and the crank side of the sprocket: the 'L' mark next to the screw port is the left crank; the 'R' mark is the crank side of the right sprocket.
Use a 15# wrench to tighten according to the installation direction: tighten the 'L' side counterclockwise, and the 'R' side clockwise. The pedal locking force is not less than 18N.m.
Warning: Unlocked pedals may cause a crash, and it is strictly forbidden to ride without locked pedals.
How to install the battery
Align the battery with the guide rail, push down until the bottom touches the back base, and turn the key clockwise to lock the battery.
How to charge the battery
DC charging port is on the right side of the battery.
Power switch: "—" means the power is turned on; "O" means the power is turned off. Press the left side of the battery level button to check the battery level (green light indicates charge). When removing the battery, the battery switch needs to be turned OFF.
On the left side of the battery, there are battery level display lights. Press the button to check the remaining battery level.
Use the charger with the corresponding voltage and current. Insert the DC plug of the charger into the battery, and insert the power plug into the mains socket. The charger light shows red when it is charging, and green when it is fully charged.
General Operations
Power On/Off
There are three keys on the control panel: the power on/off key, '+' plus key, and '-' minus key.
After long pressing the power key, the display starts working and connects to the controller. In the power-on state, long pressing the power key can turn off the power of the electric bike.
After the display is turned on, the default power-on password is "0000". Press '+' or '-' to select the numbers, click the power key to confirm the number. After entering the password, click the power key to enter the main interface.
Gear Selection
After entering the main interface, short press the '+' or '-' key to change the electric bike power gear, thereby changing the motor output power. The gear display is 0-5 gear and booster gear.
Boost Mode
When the display is powered on, short press the '-' key to gear 0. Then, long press and hold the '-' key; the electric bike enters boost mode, traveling at a constant speed of 6 kilometers per hour. The screen displays "A". Release the key, and the electric bike will immediately stop boost mode. If the key is not pressed within 5 seconds, it will automatically return to gear 0.
Turn on or turn off the headlight
The display has a light sensing function and will automatically turn on the headlights according to the brightness of the external environment. If the headlights are manually switched on or off, the automatic headlight function is temporarily invalid and will resume after the display restarts.
To turn on the headlight: Long press and hold the '+' key for 3 seconds; the headlight will turn on, and the headlight symbol on the display will light up.
To turn off the headlight: Long press and hold the '+' key for 3 seconds; the headlight will turn off, and the headlight symbol on the display will dim.
Switch the single motor drive mode or dual motor drive mode
After turning on the electric bike, it defaults to rear motor driving mode. Press the power key to choose between front motor drive, rear motor drive, or dual motor drive modes.
Bluetooth Settings
Bluetooth Setup
Download the "BIKEGO" APP from the iPhone App Store or download BIKEGO from the Android Google App Store. Alternatively, scan the following QR codes to download.
To connect: After turning on the electric bike, long press and hold the '+' and '-' keys together for 3 seconds to enter the Bluetooth settings. Then, scan the QR code on the display to connect the electric bike to the mobile phone APP.
If the electric bike is inactive for more than 10 minutes, the display will automatically shut down. However, after the APP is connected to the electric bike, the display will not automatically shut down until manually turned off or Bluetooth is disconnected.
Maintenance and Troubleshooting
Daily Maintenance
- In order to extend the service life of the E-bike and ensure safe and comfortable driving, please check it regularly. When the E-bike is stopped for a long time, it should also be checked regularly. When the electric bicycle runs for 300KM, it should be inspected and maintained.
- Check whether the brake clearance is within the specified range (10-15MM). If it is not correct, it should be adjusted. The brake pads are considered seriously worn (more than 2/3 worn) and need to be replaced in time.
- Electric bicycle tires are often in contact with the ground. Stones, glass, nails, etc., on the ground can cause damage. Pay attention to inspections when driving. Check for obvious cracks on the ground and tires, damage, or penetration by nails, glass, etc., and check for abnormal wear caused by long-term driving.
- The battery is a key component. It should be used correctly and protected. Charge as needed. If the daily driving distance is greater than 20KM, it should be charged every day. If the driving mileage is 100KM, special chain oil needs to be added to the chain.
- Riding without lubricating parts will cause wear to the chain, sprocket, and freewheel.
- The chain will wear after being used for 10,000KM. The length of the chain affects the smoothness of the speed change. Use a chain ruler to measure wear and replace it in time.
- After riding on a rainy day, wipe off water marks on the electric bicycle to avoid acid rain corroding the accessories.
- When using the battery, it is strictly forbidden to over-discharge, under-charge, or over-charge it to avoid damaging the battery and shortening its service life.

Cautions
General Operating Rules
Notice: Pay attention to all the general operating rules below before operating your E-bike.
When riding, obey the same road laws as all other road vehicles as applicable by law in your area.
For additional information regarding traffic/vehicles laws, contact the road traffic authority in your state.
Ride predictably in a straight line, and with the flow of traffic. Never ride against traffic.
Use correct hand signals to indicate turning.
Ride defensively to other road users you may be hard to see.
Concentrate on the path ahead. Avoid potholes, gravel, wet or oily roads, wet leaves, curbs, train tracks, speed bumps, drain gates, thorns, broken glass, and other obstacles, hazards, and puncture flat risks.
Expect the unexpected such as opening car doors or cars backing out of driveways.
Be careful at intersections and when preparing to pass other vehicles or cyclists.
Familiarize yourself with all the features and operations of the MEELOD E-bike. Practice and become proficient at shifting gears, applying the brakes, using the pedal assist system, and using the throttle in a controlled setting before riding in riskier conditions.
Wear proper riding clothes including closed-toe shoes. If wearing loose pants, secure the bottom using leg clips or elastic bands to prevent them from being caught in the chain or gears. Do not use items that may restrict your hearing.
Check your local rules and regulations before carrying cargo.
When braking, use the rear brake first, then the front brake. If brakes are not correctly applied, they may lock up and lead to loss of control and/or falling.
Maintain a comfortable stopping distance from all other objects, riders, and vehicles. Safe braking distances are based on factors such as road surface and light conditions among other variables.
Charging Notice
Users must follow the instruction manual during charging the battery.
Reminder: The original charger must be used.
Pay attention to the type and applicable voltage of the batteries that the charger can charge, and it is strictly forbidden to mix them.
When charging, it should be placed in a ventilated environment. It is strictly forbidden to charge in a confined space or in a hot sun and high-temperature environment. Do not place the charger in the saddle and tail box for charging.
When charging, plug in the battery first, then plug in the power supply. Cut off the power supply first, and then pull out the power plug.
When the green light is on, the power supply should be cut off in time, and it is forbidden to connect the charger to the AC power supply with no load for a long time without charging.
During the charging process, if the indicator light is abnormal, or there is a peculiar smell or the case of the charger/discharger is overheated, the charging should be stopped immediately, and the charger/discharger should be repaired or replaced.
During the use and storage of the charger, avoid the entry of foreign objects, especially avoid the inflow of water or other liquids, so as to avoid short circuit inside the charger. Try not to carry the charger with the car; if it needs to be carried, it should be placed in the toolbox after shock absorption treatment.
In heavy rainy weather, avoid the rear wheel motor soaking in water during riding. Water flowing over the motor shaft can easily lead to water ingress, resulting in damage to the motor and controller, which is not under the scope of Guarantee.

- Products altered or modified in any way from the manufacturer's specifications.
- Parts requiring replacement or repair as a result of normal wear and tear.
