Before First Use:

How to Use:

  1. Prepare the Air Fryer Basket: Insert the tray into the basket using the handle, ensuring it's secure and level. A small space should exist between the tray and the basket bottom. The tray is essential for proper air circulation and even cooking. ⚠️ Never fill the basket with oil; use minimal oil by tossing food in a separate bowl first.
  2. Place food on tray: Refer to the cooking chart (Page 8) for recommended amounts. Do not fill the basket higher than the "Max" line.
  3. Put the Air Fryer Basket into the Air Fryer: Use the handle to insert the basket and push closed until secure.
  4. Plug in the Air Fryer: The display will illuminate briefly, and the Start/Stop button will remain lit. The Air Fryer will not operate if the basket is not fully inserted.
  5. Turn on the Air Fryer: Lightly press the Start/Stop button to wake the unit. The display will show toggling time and temperature. The unit enters Sleep Mode after 20 minutes of inactivity; press Start/Stop to wake it. Hold Start/Stop for 5 seconds to manually enter Sleep Mode.
  6. Set desired cooking time and temperature:
    • Time: Press the Time button (⏰). The clock icon will blink. Use the Increase/Decrease buttons (3) to set the time (max 60 minutes).
    • Temperature: Press the Temp button (?️). The thermometer icon will blink. Use the Increase/Decrease buttons (3) to set the temperature (200°F - 400°F / 90°C - 200°C).
    • Fahrenheit/Celsius: Press and hold the Temp button for 4 seconds to switch between °F and °C.
  7. Start cooking: Press the Start/Stop button (▶️/■). The display will show the toggling time and temperature. To check food, gently pull out the basket. The program is saved. Shake or redistribute food as needed and push the basket back in to resume cooking.
  8. Enjoy your air-fried food: The Air Fryer will beep three times when the timer counts down. Use the handle to carefully pull out the basket. Use protective gloves or tongs to transfer hot food to a serving plate. ⚠️ The basket is hot after cooking. Place on a trivet to cool.
  9. Unplug the Air Fryer: Refer to Cleaning & Maintenance for cleaning instructions.

Cooking Tips

Almost any food cooked in an oven can be air fried. Avoid very greasy foods like sausage at high temperatures; 350°F is recommended. Foods cook best when of similar size and thickness. Smaller pieces cook faster and can tolerate higher temperatures. For best results, air fry in small batches and avoid stacking food.

Most prepared foods don't need added oil. Frozen appetizers and hors d'oeuvres air fry well; arrange in a single layer. If layering, shake the basket halfway through cooking. For scratch-made items like French fries, toss with oil in a separate bowl for better browning and crispiness. Ensure fresh potatoes are completely dry before cooking; moisture prevents crispiness.

For battered foods, use thick, pasty batters. Thin batters may run. Coating with panko or puffed rice and spraying with oil can create crispy, healthier versions of fried foods.

Air fryers are also great for reheating food. Set temperature to 300°F for up to 10 minutes, ensuring food reaches safe temperatures.
