Tips and Suggestions
- Laundry Division: Sort by fabric type, colour (separate new colours), and delicates (use a laundry bag).
- Empty Pockets: Remove coins, lighters, etc., to prevent damage. Check buttons.
- Detergent Dosage: Follow recommendations for optimal cleaning, avoid residues, and save detergent.
- Low Temperature & Longer Duration: Generally more energy-efficient.
- Load Sizes: Wash up to the capacity indicated in the table for water and energy savings.
- Noise & Moisture: Higher spin speeds increase noise but reduce moisture content.
Care and Maintenance
Switch off and unplug the appliance before maintenance. Do not use flammable liquids.
- Water & Power Supplies: Close the water tap after each wash. Unplug for cleaning/maintenance.
- Cleaning the Washing Machine: Use a soft cloth with lukewarm soapy water for external parts and rubber components. Run the "Auto-clean" cycle every 40 washes for internal parts, optionally with detergent or special additives.
- Detergent Dispenser Drawer: Wash under running water frequently.
- Door & Drum: Leave the porthole door ajar to prevent odours.
- Cleaning the Pump: The pump is auto-cleaning. Small items may collect in the pre-chamber. Access by removing the front cover panel, loosening the drainage pump cover (anticlockwise), cleaning, and reassembling.
- Water Inlet Hose: Check annually for cracks or breaks. Replace if damaged.
Load Balancing System
The drum rotates to distribute the load before spinning. If the load is unbalanced, the machine may spin at a reduced speed or perform a distribution process. Mixing small and large garments improves balance.
