Product Overview

The Raychem E-100-LBTV2-BOOT-5/PACK kit provides five replacement boots designed for use with the E-100-LBTV2 end seals. These boots are essential components for ensuring the proper operation and safety of electrical heat tracing systems. They can be installed in temperatures as low as -40°F (-40°C), though storing the kit above freezing can facilitate installation.

Installation Steps

Follow these steps carefully for correct installation:

Turn off power to the system.
Clip and remove the existing cable tie.
Remove the old boot.
Place the loop of the new boot around the cable.
Push the new boot onto the end of the cable until it is fully seated. Ensure sealant is not squeezed out.
Install a new cable tie and trim any excess.
Install the cap and tighten until the slots align with the stand.
