IMPORTANT INFORMATION
READ THIS IMPORTANT INFORMATION FIRST
Water Resistance
For all categories of watches, the following are prohibited:
- Pressing buttons underwater.
- Changing hands underwater.
- Unscrewing the crown underwater.
If the watch is exposed to saltwater, rinse it thoroughly and dry it. Do not wear a watch with a leather strap while swimming. Avoid prolonged contact of the leather strap with water.
Watches are classified by water resistance levels (from I to V) according to their degree of water protection. Refer to the table below to determine the correct usage for your watch.

Notes on Water Resistance
- I: Watches are not water-resistant. Avoid exposure to any moisture.
- II: WR (Water Resistant) means the model is waterproof according to ISO 2281. Brief contact with water will not cause any problems.
- III: Watches with 5 Bar (50 meters) water resistance can withstand the indicated water pressure and can be used during showers and brief swimming.
- IV: Water resistance of 10 Bar (100 meters) means the watch can be used during normal swimming and snorkeling.
- V: Water resistance of 20 Bar (200 meters) means the watch can be used for scuba diving (excluding depths requiring helium-oxygen mixtures).
Condensation and Disclaimer
When using the product in conditions of rapid temperature changes, slight condensation may form on the inside of the glass. This phenomenon is due to the laws of physics and is not a defect.

Watch Features and Operation

Screw-Lock Crown
Some water-resistant models are equipped with a screw-lock crown.
To pull out such a crown, you must first unlock it by turning it in the direction indicated in the illustration. Do not apply excessive force when pulling out the crown, as this may cause damage.

Note that the watch becomes unprotected from water and moisture when the crown is pulled out. After completing any operations using the crown, be sure to return it to its original position and lock it.
Setting the Current Time
MODULES 1362, 1398, 1770, 2799, 3378, 4370
Pull out the crown. Rotate it to set the hands to the current time. Push the crown back to its original position.

- When the second hand is at the 12 o'clock position, pull out the crown. The second hand will stop.
- Rotate the crown to set the hands to the current time. Set the minute hand 4-5 minutes ahead of the current time, then move it back.
- Push the crown back to its original position to resume timekeeping.

Setting the Date and Day of Week
To ensure the date and day of week change at midnight, do not perform date setting between 8:00 PM and 2:00 AM.
- Pull out the crown to the first click.
- Set the date by rotating the crown counter-clockwise.
- Set the day of the week by rotating the crown clockwise. Days of the week are shown in English or Spanish.

4. Push the crown back to its original position.
Watches with Backlight
Press and hold the 'L' button to activate the watch backlight.
Depending on the watch model, the backlight duration is 2 to 3 seconds, or 1 second, or until the 'L' button is pressed (Module 5577).
Depending on the watch model, the backlight is provided by electro-luminescent (EL) elements or by LEDs. EL elements may lose brightness after prolonged use.
Frequent use of the backlight shortens battery life.
Activating the backlight for an extended period or when the battery charge is low may cause the watch hands to stop moving for some time.

Watches with Rotating Bezel
Rotate the bezel to align the marker with the minute hand. After some time, you can tell how much time has passed since you aligned the marker with the minute hand.
