Important Safety Instructions

WARNING!

Read all warnings posted on the machine. Keep hands and feet clear of moving parts.

WARNING: Anchoring Equipment

All equipment MUST be secured (bolted and tightened) to a solid, level surface using a minimum of 3 anchoring holes. Use fasteners with a minimum of 500 lbs tensile capacity, grade 2 or better.

CAUTION: Machine Clearance and Spacing

Maintain a minimum clearance of 24 inches (60.96 cm) between and behind machines. A walkway of at least 36 inches (91.44 cm) is recommended in front of or on the entry side of each machine for safe entry and exit.

CAUTION: Check for Damaged Parts

DO NOT use any equipment that is damaged or has worn or broken parts. Use only replacement parts supplied by Nautilus® and Core Health & Fitness.

MAINTAIN LABELS AND NAMEPLATES: Do not remove labels. Contact Nautilus for replacements if missing or damaged.

MAINTAIN ALL EQUIPMENT: Regular preventative maintenance is crucial for safe and smooth operation. Inspect and maintain equipment at regular intervals as outlined in this manual.

WARNING - to reduce the risk of injury to person:

  1. This equipment is designed for commercial use. Users must read this manual before use and be instructed on proper use. Obtain a complete physical examination before beginning any exercise program.
  2. This machine is not intended for use by children or persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities unless supervised. Do not leave children unsupervised around the machine.
  3. Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry. Stay clear of moving components.
  4. Do not overexert. Stop exercising if you feel pain, chest tightness, shortness of breath, or faintness. Consult a healthcare provider for any abnormal symptoms.
  5. Ensure regular examination for damage and wear. Worn or damaged parts must be replaced immediately or the equipment removed from service.
  6. Ensure all adjustment and locking features are properly secured before use.
  7. Use only Nautilus® replacement components.
  8. Wear proper exercise clothing and athletic shoes. Tie back long hair and keep towels away from moving parts.
  9. Never use dumbbells or other means to incrementally increase weight resistance. Do not exceed maximum load limits.
  10. Do not exceed the maximum specified user weight of 350 lbs.

Important Label Locations

Owners must maintain the integrity and placement of warning labels and communication stickers. Replacement stickers can be ordered using the provided part numbers.

Warning labels are located on the machine, including a main warning label, a pinch point warning, and a bolt down label.

Operations

The Nautilus Glute Drive is designed to work the primary muscles of the gluteus and hamstrings, with secondary work for the quadriceps.

The operation involves positioning the user on the seat, securing the belt, and performing the glute drive motion.

Installation

8 mm 1.25 25.5 to 28.5 (19 to 21)
10 mm 1.75 55.5 to 58 (41 to 43)
12 mm 1.25 61 to 65 (45 to 48)

Torque all hardware to specified values unless otherwise noted. Refer to the hardware sheet for fastener sizing.

Packaging Removal:

Carefully remove all packaging materials. Lay out all parts in a clean area for assembly. Contact information is provided for missing components or operational questions.

  1. Install the four rubber feet onto the bottom of the frame.
  2. Secure the foot plate to the frame using M10 x 30mm screws, M10 flat washers, and M10 nylock nuts.
  3. Secure the weight catch arms to the frame using M10 x 110mm bolts, pivot shafts, M10 nylock nuts, and M10 fender washers.
  4. Lower the back-rest assembly into position and insert the shaft through the frame and back-rest assembly.
  5. Slide the user right side cap onto the shaft and secure it with an M8 washer and M8 lock.
  6. Use a 6mm allen key to secure an M8 x 16mm set screw into the user right side bearing assembly. Repeat for the user left side.

Regular daily, weekly, and monthly preventive maintenance routines are essential for keeping the equipment in top condition.

Warranty

CORE HEALTH & FITNESS, LLC, warrants its Commercial Fitness Products to the original purchaser against defects in workmanship and materials.

CORE HEALTH & FITNESS, LLC, will repair or replace defective parts at no charge during the warranty period. The manufacturer does not warrant heart rate system performance. The heart rate system is not for medical use.

To obtain warranty service, contact Customer Support at (888) 678-2476. Provide the product serial number and a detailed description of the problem. Proof of purchase or warranty registration is required.

Unauthorized repairs or modifications will void the warranty.

Exclusions:

This warranty does not cover cosmetic damage, imperfections within design specifications, or damage due to acts of God, accident, abuse, misuse, negligence, lack of normal maintenance, improper installation or operation. Alterations or modifications to the product, or repairs by unauthorized personnel will void this warranty. This warranty is valid only in the continental United States. Failure to follow maintenance instructions will void the manufacturer's warranty.
