DEPLAY 4G KidsWatch Manual
1. Preparation
Before using this product, read the manual carefully for correct installation and quick use. Check that the product is the correct model with complete accessories. Use a Nano SIM card that supports the 4G network. (Turn off the DEPLAY 4G KidsWatch before inserting the card.)
1. Safety Warning:
- The watch should be charged for 4 hours at least before first use.
- Please turn off the watch before inserting the card.
2. Product Details:
The DEPLAY 4G KidsWatch features a camera, power button, and various interactive icons on its screen.
Power Button Functions:
- Turn on: Press and hold the power button for 5 seconds.
- Turn off: Turn it off through watch "Settings-Shutdown" or remotely through the phone App.
- Restart: Long press and hold the power button for 30 seconds to restart the watch, or restart remotely from the phone App.
- SOS: Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds to activate the SOS function in case of emergency.

2. The DEPLAY WATCH APP
To use the DEPLAY WATCH App:
- Download the DEPLAY WATCH app from the Apple or Android App Store, or by scanning the provided QR code.
- Create an account in the DEPLAY WATCH App. Ensure you select the correct region (e.g., Europe) and use a valid email address. Use only alphanumeric characters for registration.
- Add the KidsWatch to your account by pressing the '+' sign at the top right of the app and scanning the QR code found on the card attached to the KidsWatch or within the KidsWatch's QR menu.
Note: You can also find the DEPLAY WATCH App by scanning the app's QR code.
3. SIM CARD
3.1 Free up SIM card PIN code
Before inserting the SIM card into the KidsWatch, you must remove its PIN code:
- Insert the new SIM card into your own phone.
- Go to Settings.
- Go to Cellular.
- Go to SIM code / SIM PIN and turn it off.
- After removing the PIN code, you can insert the SIM card into the DEPLAY 4G KidsWatch.
For optimal use, a 4G SIM card is recommended (Lebara for Dutch users, Proximus for Belgian users). Ensure the KidsWatch is turned off before inserting the SIM card.
3.2 Installation DEPLAY 4G KIDSWATCH
- Pull out the card tray using the SIM card helper tool.
- Insert the Nano SIM card into the card tray, ensuring the chip side faces up and the notch faces outwards.
- Insert the card tray back into the KidsWatch.
4. FEATURES
- LBS, GPS & WIFI: View the live location on the app.
- Safety area: Set up to 3 safety zones. Receive an alert when the KidsWatch moves outside these areas.
- Alarm: Set up to 3 different alarms.
- Address Book: Store up to 15 phone numbers for calls.
- Chat: Send voice recordings and images to the phone app.
- Camera: Take photos or videos.
- Calling: The KidsWatch can make calls independently; this can be enabled or disabled via the app.
- Thermometer:
- Wrist mode: Measure temperature without removing the watch. Receive a notification upon completion.
- Ambient temperature: Measures the surrounding temperature.
- Remote temperature measurement: Remotely check your child's body temperature via the app.
- Heart rate and blood pressure measurement: The sensor activates automatically to measure heart rate and blood pressure within 30 seconds. Data is displayed after measurement.
- Pedometer: Step counter, enabled via the app.
- Video call: Make private or group video calls (up to 8 people).
- Gallery: View, share, and delete photos taken by the watch.
- Calendar: View the calendar set by the app (Monday to Friday).
- Make friends: Connect with other DEPLAY 4G KidsWatches to exchange voice messages and images. Long press a message to delete it, or long press a friend's image to remove them.
- Math games: Play games with adjustable difficulty levels (easy, advanced, difficult).
- SOS: Set 3 emergency contact numbers. Pressing the SOS button for 3 seconds alerts these numbers.
- Remote control (Listen in): Listen in on your child's surroundings via the smartphone app.
- Do not disturb periods: Set times when calls and other notifications are blocked to prevent distractions, e.g., during school hours.
- Family members: View accounts of all family members connected to the DEPLAY 4G KidsWatch.

Answers:
- Yes, a Lebara SIM is included for Dutch users, and a Proximus 4G SIM is recommended for Belgium.
- Ensure you have a 4G SIM and have removed the PIN code via your smartphone. Reinsert the SIM after turning off the watch.
- Insert the SIM into your phone, go to Settings > Cellular > SIM code/PIN and disable it.
- Follow installation steps in section 3.2.
- Use the SIM card helper tool to pull out the tray, remove the SIM, and reinsert the tray.
- A Nano SIM card is required, preferably a 4G SIM.
- For Lebara: check balance by calling '100', top up by calling '1244' (option 2) and entering the code, or dial '101' with the top-up code. Online top-up is available at lebara.nl/opwaarderen.
- Turn off the KidsWatch, reinsert the SIM card, and turn it back on.
- Yes, a 4G SIM card from Belgium (e.g., Proximus) will work.
Questions about App Registration and Device Addition:
- How to register? Scan the QR code with a smartphone to install the DEPLAY MATCH App. New users register by clicking "Register" and following the steps. Select the correct region and enter a valid email address. Use only alphanumeric characters.
- App/KidsWatch connection issues? Restart the app, re-add the KidsWatch, and test the internet connection (WiFi/4G). If problems persist, email support@deplay.nl with the IMEI number.
- Error messages during registration (e.g., "device number does not exist", "REG code incorrect", "device or account registered"): Check app download, verify IMEI/REG code accuracy (15-digit number), and ensure unique registration. Consider registering with a new account if the ID is already in use.
- How to add the KidsWatch? Download the app, create an account, press '+' in the app, and scan the QR code on the card attached to the KidsWatch or in its QR menu.
- How to add contacts? Use the "Phonebook" function in the DEPLAY MATCH app.
- How to set the SOS button? Open the "SOS-Family Number" function in the app, enter up to 3 phone numbers, and press the power button on the KidsWatch for 3 seconds. The watch will cycle through the numbers if the first doesn't answer.
5.3 Functions - Frequently Asked Questions:
- WhatsApp on KidsWatch? Yes, you can send/receive messages, voice memos, photos, and make video calls.
- Adding a secondary account? The first account is the primary administrator. Secondary accounts can be added via "Family Members". The primary administrator must authorize the addition. One app account can link multiple trackers, and one tracker can link to multiple secondary accounts via QR code scanning and authorization.
- Connecting GPS to APP account? Log in, select "More" > "Device List" > "Add Device", and scan the QR code on the watch. Note: Use the 15-digit registration number, not the barcode.
- Adding addresses? No, addresses cannot be added.
- Using the same number? No, each SIM card has a unique number.
- Number for listening in? Use the "Listen in" function in the app, enter your phone number, and accept the call request to listen anonymously. The KidsWatch does not display this activity.
- Why can't the KidsWatch be turned off immediately? It can only be turned off remotely via the app to prevent children from accidentally shutting it down.
- Device ID already exists? The ID is a serial number. If an incorrect ID was entered during registration, clear the data and re-register.
- GPS vs. LBS positioning deviation? LBS positioning is affected by signal reception.
- Calling SOS/family numbers only? The SIM card has one caller ID. Only SOS and family numbers can be called after setup.
- KidsWatch location inaccurate (e.g., kilometers away)? GPS may not work well indoors due to signal issues. Try again outdoors, away from Wi-Fi zones, and press the "locate" icon in the app.
- KidsWatch offline/connection fails on first startup? Check SIM installation, SIM slot integrity, and GPS signal. Move to an open area and press "locate" in the app. Ensure the DEPLAY MATCH App is online.
- GPS offline? GPS activates every 10 minutes. Be in an open space and press "locate" in the app.
- IMEI code cannot be scanned? Send an SMS to the KidsWatch with:
pw,123456,imei,xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx#
(replace 'x' with digits of the 15-digit code, all lowercase).
5.4 Notifications
- "No contact details" message? Check the internet connection (WiFi/4G) and ensure the SIM card has data. Reconnect the KidsWatch to the app. If issues persist, contact support@deplay.nl with the IMEI number.
- KidsWatch offline notification? Check internet connection (WiFi/4G) and ensure the SIM card has sufficient data. Reconnect the KidsWatch to the app. If issues persist, contact support@deplay.nl with the IMEI number.
- Inaccurate child location? Positioning accuracy is affected by location, network, and environment. GPS signal reception can be impacted. Ensure good signal reception.
- Low battery affecting GPS signal? Yes, GPS consumes significant power. Low battery can impact GPS signal strength.
5.5 General
- Factory reset? Contact DEPLAY support at support@deplay.nl with the IMEI number.
- Charging? Use the supplied magnetic charger. Place the back of the KidsWatch on the charging pad.
- IMEI Number location? On the card attached to the KidsWatch and in the QR code menu within the KidsWatch.
- Other SIM cards? Yes, other providers' 4G SIM cards are possible, including those with subscriptions.
- Use abroad? Yes, but a local prepaid SIM card is recommended.
- Data consumption? Depends on usage (video calls, calls, etc.).
- Multiple KidsWatches on one app? Yes.
- Both parents tracking? Yes, if both parents link the KidsWatch to their phones via the app.
- Battery life? Approximately 1 day with normal usage.
- Better manual/video? A digital manual can be provided upon request. Contact support@deplay.nl for further questions.
- Language change? Yes, the language can be changed on the KidsWatch. It is supplied in Dutch.
SOS Function
- In the app, navigate to "SOS-Family Number" in the menu.
- Enter up to 3 phone numbers.
- Press and hold the power button on the KidsWatch for a few seconds. It will attempt to call the first SOS number, then the second, and then the third if the previous ones do not answer.
Do not disturb mode
- Go to the "Do Not Disturb Mode" feature in the menu.
- Set the desired time/day and press "save".
- During these set times, the KidsWatch cannot be unlocked, but the SOS function remains active.
Security Zones
- Go to the "Map" function in the menu and tap the "Security Zones" icon.
- Set the desired zone by pressing on the location. You can set the radius from 200m to 2000m.
- You will receive an automatic notification when your child leaves the set zone.
