Installation in the Vehicle

Always ensure that:

  1. Fold out the Load leg (4) until it locks into its foremost position.
  2. Release the ISOFIX-Release buttons (5) to extend the ISOFIX-Locking arms (6). The buttons can be released independently.
  3. Push the ISOFIX-Locking arms (6) out to their furthest extent.
  4. Place the car seat on an appropriate seat in the vehicle.
  5. Push the ISOFIX-Locking arms (6) into the ISOFIX-Anchorage points (7) until they audibly "CLICK". The ISOFIX-Indicators (8) will turn from RED to GREEN.
  6. Ensure the car seat is secure by trying to pull it out of the ISOFIX-Anchorage points (7).
  7. Push the car seat towards the backrest of the vehicle seat until it is fully aligned with the backrest. Moving the car seat side-to-side will also brace it against the backrest.
  8. Press the Load leg adjustment button (9) and extend the leg until it touches the vehicle floor.
  9. Pull the Load leg (4) out to the next locking position to ensure optimal force transmission.
  10. The Load leg indicator (10) switches to GREEN when the load leg is correctly positioned on the vehicle floor.
  11. To activate the Linear side-impact protection (12), press the L.S.P. Release button (13) on the side facing the vehicle door. The L.S.P. can be deactivated if space is limited.

Securing the Child

  1. Rotate the seat to the boarding position.
  2. Press the Belt adjustment button (17) and pull both Shoulder belts (18) simultaneously to loosen them.
  3. Press the red button firmly on the Belt buckle (19) to release it.
  4. The Buckle tongues (20) can be attached to the integrated magnets on the cover.
  5. Place your child in the car seat with their buttocks against the back.
  6. Place the Shoulder belts (18) directly over your child's shoulders.
  7. Bring both Buckle tongues (20) together and lock them into the Belt buckle (19) with an audible "CLICK".
  8. If using a SensorSafe Clip, close the clip until it clicks and slide it down towards the Belt buckle (19).
  9. Tighten the Lap belts (21) and then pull the Central adjustment belt (22) to tighten the Shoulder belts (18) until they fit snugly against your child's body. The harness should be tight enough that you cannot fold any part of the strap.
  10. When using the SensorSafe clip, position it directly below the shoulder pads.

Removal from the Vehicle

  1. Unlock the ISOFIX-Locking arms (6) by pressing the ISOFIX-Release buttons (5) and pulling them back simultaneously.
  2. Pull the car seat out from the ISOFIX-Anchorage points (7).
  3. Remove the car seat and slide the ISOFIX-Locking arms (6) completely back into their transport positions.
  4. Push the Load leg (4) back into its original position and fold it in to save space.

Adjusting the Headrest

Use the Headrest adjustment handle (15) at the back of the Headrest (14). Ensure no more than 2 cm (approx. 2 finger's width) of space remains between the child's shoulders and the headrest.

Rotation Function

Pull the Position adjustment handle (16) on the front of the seat and turn the seat to the desired position (upright or rotated). It is recommended to deactivate the L.S.P. before turning the seat. Ensure the seat is locked into place before driving.

Adjusting the Lying Position

Press the Position adjustment handle (16) on the front of the car seat to adjust the lying position. The flattest lying position is recommended for children who cannot yet sit upright independently. Ensure the seat audibly clicks into place when adjusting the position.

Removing and Reattaching the Seat Cover

The car seat cover consists of 6 parts and is fastened at several points. Remove the parts by unfastening them. Reattach in reverse order. Remove foam from the Newborn inlay (1) and Comfort insert (2) before washing. The cover can be washed at 30°C on a delicate cycle. Wash separately and do not tumble dry or expose to direct sunlight, as this may cause discoloration.
