Important Safety Instructions

? Read this instruction manual before usage.

? For indoor use only.

? Basic-insulated, earthed electrical appliance.

♻️ When discarding this product, it must be sent to separate collection facilities for recovery and recycling. By separating this product from other household-type waste, the volume of waste sent to land-fills will be reduced, saving natural resources.

⚠️ Airfree® is not intended for use by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

Do not place your Airfree® in direct contact with water or liquids as it can cause an electric and harmful shock hazard and damage to the unit itself.

?? Do not obstruct Airfree® air outlets with items such as towels, clothing, curtains, as it will increase heating inside the ceramic core causing the device to shut off. If such condition persists, a general cut-off system will cut power supply requiring replacement of the circuit board. This incident is not covered by the Airfree® warranty.

? Do not attempt to open Airfree® or touch its internal components. Do not insert any objects as it may cause electric shock. Any attempt to open or tamper with Airfree® will void the warranty.

? To clean Airfree®, unplug it from the electric outlet and use a dry cloth to wipe off its surface. Do not attempt to open Airfree® to clean it inside, which is not necessary.

⬆️ Always keep Airfree® in its vertical position as shown in the picture, otherwise the unit will be shut off until it goes back to the vertical position. The light will become intermittent.

⚠️? A device with a damaged supply cord shall not be used and must be replaced by an authorized warranty service shop to avoid potential hazard events. When returning your Airfree® for repair, please make sure it is well protected to avoid additional damages.

?☣️ Airfree® shall not be placed near flammable and toxic products.

Installing and Connecting

Follow these steps to set up your Airfree® device:

  1. Place Airfree® on the floor or a flat surface.
  2. Plug the power cord into the nearest outlet.
  3. Make sure the surface is dry (never place Airfree® on a wet floor or immerse it in water).
  4. After approximately 30 minutes, the top lid should be slightly warm over the side vents and on the top lid.

For best results, use Airfree® in rooms within its area capacity to achieve maximum air sterilizing and purifying performance.

⏱️ Airfree® must be continuously ON in the same room, 24 hours a day. Removing it from the room will allow new microorganism contamination to grow. The longer the period without Airfree®, the higher the new contamination in the room.

?❌ Avoid placing the device near open doors or windows to prevent some of the purified air from exiting the room.

How does Airfree® Work?

Airfree® utilizes a unique TSS™ (Total Silence System) technology to purify air. This process involves drawing contaminated air into the device, where it passes through a sterilizing ceramic core.

Diagram Description:

The diagram shows contaminated air entering the device from the bottom ([Contaminated Air] <---). Inside, it passes through air inlets which contain capsules designed to capture particles and VOCs. The air then enters the TSS™ Sterilising Ceramic Core, where microorganisms are destroyed. Finally, cooled and clean air is expelled from the top ([Purified Air] --->).

Cooling Chamber:

Cooled and clean air is delivered to the environment without significant change in room temperature and humidity.

TSS™ Sterilising Ceramic Core:

Inside the ceramic core, 99.99% of all viruses, bacteria, moulds, and molds are silently destroyed, not trapped.

Air Inlets:

Two capsules are present: one to hold dust (particles) and the other to capture VOCs. The Fan activates these capsules if and when necessary.

Regardless of how hazardous a virus, fungus, or bacteria might be, they are fully destroyed by the powerful heat inside the TSS™ ceramic core mini-ducts. This process also generates air circulation, similar to a chimney effect (air convection), resulting in a continuous, silent, and efficient airflow.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

1. How do I know if Airfree® is no longer working?

The top LED being ON indicates the device is working. If it's OFF, turn the floor lights ON. If still OFF, check the top lid and the area above the side vents; if not warm, the air sterilization system is not working. Finally, test the fan by touching the fan icon touch pad. If none of these functions are working, connect the unit to another outlet and ensure it is in its vertical position for at least 1 minute.

2. Are there any side effects?

No. Airfree®'s technology purifies air with minimal heat contribution to the room. There are no side effects, no emissions, no ions, and no new particles generated. It effectively removes dust, particles, VOCs, and other pollutants quietly and efficiently.

3. Can I use Airfree® in air-conditioned rooms?

Yes.

4. Should I turn off Airfree® when I leave the house?

It is recommended to keep Airfree® TSS™ always on. Turning the unit off will stop the sterilization process, allowing microorganism contamination in the room to grow.

5. Can I change Airfree® from one room to another?

Airfree® must always be plugged in the same room, 24 hours a day. Its patented technology works gradually. When removed to another room, contamination in the original room will start to increase.

6. What happens if Airfree® is disconnected or there was a blackout?

Airfree® will take approximately the same time to recover the previous reduced contamination level.

7. Does Airfree® eliminate bacteria and viruses?

Yes. Airfree® is more efficient than many market air filters with the smallest microorganisms, as they are easily carried by its airflow into the sterilizing TSS™ ceramic core mini-ducts. Please check independent bacteria and virus tests on the Airfree® website.

8. How does Airfree® destroy dust mites?

Mould reduction in the environment leads to a reduction in the mould-dependent dust mite population. Airfree® also destroys harmful toxins and fungus released into the air by dust mite feces and skeletons, which trigger respiratory allergies and asthma.

9. How does Airfree® eliminate fungi and moulds?

Airfree® eliminates airborne microorganisms, including moulds, fungi, and spores. By eliminating spores, new mould colonies are less likely to develop, reducing future airborne mould spores. Please check independent mould tests on the Airfree® website.

10. How does Airfree® destroy viruses?

Microscopic viruses are easily eliminated inside Airfree®'s ceramic core capillaries. Contrary to other technologies, the smaller the microorganism, the easier it is destroyed inside the TSS™ ceramic core capillaries. Please check independent virus test results on the Airfree® website.

11. Does Airfree® make any humidity level change in the room?

No.

12. Does Airfree® release any gas or chemical product?

No. Airfree®'s sterilization process is natural. Please check the website for conclusive tests regarding particles and ozone.

13. Does Airfree® heat up a room?

Airfree® does not cause a noticeable increase in room temperature. For comparison, two Airfree® devices plugged in the same room would contribute as much heat as one 70 kg adult.

14. Does Airfree® need filter replacement?

No.

15. Where do the microorganisms go after they are destroyed?

Living microorganisms are composed of carbon, oxygen, and nitrogen. Since Airfree® PRO PLUS reaches nearly 200°C, these components decompose into carbon dioxide (the same product released by respiration) and water. Some carbon (microscopic ashes) may remain inside the device or on the top lid. These residues are a microscopic fraction of the original size of the microorganisms, making them negligible.
