Assembly Instructions
Note: Always unplug the appliance before assembling or disassembling.
- Switch off the machine and ensure it is unplugged.
- Lift up the shield by pulling the knob.
- Put in the blade attachment and align it in the machine. Wear cut-resistant gloves as the blades are sharp.
- Turn the wrench tool to adjust the shafts of blades into firing position.
- Lock the attachment by pushing down the switch.
- Assembly is complete. Ensure all connections are tight.
Operating Instructions
CAUTION: Before connecting to power, ensure the machine's electrical specifications match your local power supply.
Follow operating instructions and safety guidelines for the motor unit.
- Ensure combs are properly positioned in the cutting attachment. DO NOT slice meat without combs. WARNING: Do not use meat over 3/4" thick, meat with thick veins, or meat with bones, as this can damage the machine. FOR BEST RESULTS: Use semi-frozen meat.
- Prepare meat by removing skin and bones. Cut into appropriately sized pieces.
- Turn the motor unit "ON." Feed meat slowly by hand into the tenderizer chamber. Insert meat into the stripper chute until it contacts the blades, allowing them to pull the meat through. WARNING: DO NOT force the meat. DO NOT press meat down with fingers or hands.
- If meat is too short, use stainless steel tongs, being careful not to contact the blades.
- Place a plate under the tenderizer opening to catch the meat.
- Turn the motor unit "OFF" when finished and disconnect from the power supply.
To Begin Processing:
- Connect the power plug to a suitable electrical power supply.
- Turn ON the appliance by pressing the GREEN "I" button. The motor will start.
- Feed meat slowly, piece by piece, into the top opening until it contacts the blades, which will pull it through.
Disassembly Instructions
- Switch off the machine and ensure it is unplugged.
- Lift up the shield by pulling the knob.
- Unlock the attachment by pulling up the switch.
- Remove the blade attachment. Wear cut-resistant gloves as the blades are sharp.
- Disassembling complete.
Cleaning
Note: Always unplug the appliance and let it cool down completely before cleaning or storage.
- Wash all parts thoroughly with warm, soapy water. NOTE: A long bristle brush is recommended (sold separately).
- Rinse with clear water.
- Sanitize as necessary.
- Dry thoroughly before re-assembling. NOTE: It is highly suggested to coat all metal parts with a food-grade silicone spray (sold separately) to prevent corrosion.
Troubleshooting
If meat gets jammed in blades: turn the motor to "OFF," disconnect from power, lift the shield, and clear the jam using steel tongs.
If meat is not cutting cleanly: check that knives on both sides are aligned, overlapping, and making contact with the blades on the other rack. Meat with excessive cartilage or gristle may not slice cleanly.
