Frequently Asked Questions
Make sure that the TV input is set to the port where the JadooBox video cable is connected.
A router is needed when you want to connect more than one device (PC and JadooBox) to your internet connection. The router connects between your modem and your JadooBox or PC. Most routers these days are wireless. This means you can place JadooBox in a different room from where your router is and connect wirelessly to your network by using the wireless USB adapter. Wireless routers recommended are of 802.11g type from manufacturers Linksys or Netgear.
To finish the wireless connection setup, select Settings, and then Network from the JadooTV Menu and run the wireless wizard.
Only WEP wireless security modes are supported. WPA security mode is not supported at this time. See your router's documentation on how to change your security mode from WPA to WEP.
At least 1 Mbps connection is required from your internet service provider. To check your downlink connection speed, select Settings, then Network Speed Test from the JadooTV Menu and run the speed test.
Keep the JadooBox in line with the remote for good reception of the remote signal.
Use the Func +/- buttons on the remote to increase or decrease the video playback window size.
To power cycle the JadooBox, press and hold the red Power button on the remote for 8 seconds.
JadooBox has no storage of its own, so simply connect a USB flash drive or a FAT32 formatted USB external hard drive to either of the USB ports at the back of JadooBox.
Press the Menu key to see a list of all the available functions.
Press the Info key to see more information.
After removing the HDMI cable, connect the RCA cable in the A/V socket and power cycle by removing the power cable and inserting it again. The JadooBox defaults to HDMI when the HDMI cable is connected.
