Product Overview
The RK Royal Kludge Mechanical Wireless Keyboard package includes the keyboard unit, a pair of magnetic stands, a Type-C USB cable for wired connection and charging, and the user manual.
Keyboard Layout Description:
The keyboard features a standard layout with function keys (F1-F12), multimedia keys, and navigation keys. Key features include:
- Top Row: Esc, F1-F12, PrtSc, Pause, Del.
- Number Row: 1! to 0) with symbols.
- Main Typing Area: Tab, QWERTY, CapsLock, ASDFGHJKL, Enter, Shift, ZXCVBNM, Ctrl, Alt, Fn.
- Navigation: Home, End, PgUp, PgDn, Arrow keys.
Wired Mode & Charging
To use the keyboard in wired mode or to charge it, connect the Type-C USB cable from the keyboard's USB 2.0 port to an available USB port on a computer. Ensure the power switch on the keyboard is in the 'ON' position.
When the USB cable is plugged in, the keyboard's indicator light will flash three times to indicate it is in charging state. Once fully charged, the light will flash five times.
For optimal performance, it is recommended to fully charge the keyboard before its first use.
How to Use: Wireless Connection
Bluetooth (BT) Connection:
- Locate the power switch on the keyboard and switch it to the 'ON' position.
- Locate the mode switch (usually labeled 'B' for Bluetooth and 'G' for 2.4Ghz) and switch it to 'B' for Bluetooth mode.
- To select a Bluetooth channel: Short press Fn + Q, W, or E to select one of the three available Bluetooth channels.
- To enter pairing mode: Long press Fn + Q, W, or E for the selected channel. The keyboard will enter pairing mode, allowing it to be discovered by your device.
2.4Ghz Wireless Connection:
- Locate the power switch on the keyboard and switch it to the 'ON' position.
- Locate the mode switch and switch it to 'G' for 2.4Ghz mode.
- Remove the 2.4Ghz USB dongle from its storage slot on the keyboard.
- Plug the 2.4Ghz USB dongle into an available USB port on your computer. The keyboard should automatically connect.
Backlight Control
The keyboard's backlight can be controlled using specific key combinations with the Fn key:
- Switch Backlight Mode: Fn + Home
- Switch Backlight Color: Fn + End
- Increase Backlight Brightness: Fn + ↑ (Up Arrow)
- Decrease Backlight Brightness: Fn + ↓ (Down Arrow)
- Increase Backlight Speed: Fn + → (Right Arrow)
- Decrease Backlight Speed: Fn + ← (Left Arrow)
Multimedia Keys
For Windows System (Fn + A to switch to Windows system):
- Fn + F1: Open Computer
- Fn + F2: Open Browser
- Fn + F3: Open Mailbox
- Fn + F4: Open Calculator
- Fn + F5: Open Player
- Fn + F6: Stop Playback
- Fn + F7: Last Song
- Fn + F8: Play / Pause
- Fn + F9: Next Song
- Fn + F10: Mute
- Fn + F11: Volume Down
- Fn + F12: Volume Up
For Mac System (Fn + S to switch to Mac system):
- Fn + F7: Last Song
- Fn + F8: Play / Pause
- Fn + F9: Next Song
- Fn + F10: Mute
- Fn + F11: Volume Down
- Fn + F12: Volume Up

Backlight Sleep Feature: In wireless mode, the backlight will turn off after 5 minutes of inactivity to conserve power. In wired mode, the backlight also enters sleep mode after 5 minutes without operation.
