Important Safety Instructions
Always prioritize safety when using the pool. Adult supervision is paramount, especially for children. Barriers, pool covers, and alarms are supplementary safety measures and do not replace constant, competent adult supervision.
Safe Pool Use
- Ensure all users, including children, learn to swim.
- Learn basic first aid, including CPR, and refresh knowledge regularly.
- Educate all pool users on emergency procedures.
- Never dive into shallow water; this can lead to serious injury or death.
- Do not use the pool under the influence of alcohol or medications that impair judgment.
Safety Devices
To prevent accidental drowning, secure access to the pool with safety devices. Install barriers and secure all doors and windows leading to the pool area. A warning sign should be placed within 2 meters of the pool, stating: ⚠ Supervise children around the pool. ⛔ No diving.
Rescue Equipment
It is recommended to have rescue equipment, such as a life buoy, readily available near the pool. Keep a functional phone with emergency numbers accessible. Always remove pool covers completely before entering the pool.
Protect users from waterborne diseases through proper water treatment and hygiene. Refer to the user manual for water treatment guidelines. Store all pool chemicals out of reach of children.
Preparatory Tasks
Site Selection
Choosing the correct location for your pool is critical for safety and longevity. The chosen surface must be capable of uniformly supporting the combined weight of the water and users for the entire duration the pool is set up and filled. Water overflow or leakage can soften the ground, compromising its load-bearing capacity.
- Regularly inspect vertical legs and U-supports to ensure they remain level with the pool bottom. If any part begins to sink, immediately drain the pool to prevent structural collapse.
- The surface must be level and flat. Sloping or uneven ground can cause uneven stress on the pool frame and liner, potentially leading to damage or collapse.
- Position the pool away from objects that children could use to climb into it.
- Ensure the pool is near an adequate drainage system to handle overflow or leaks. The pool's water inlet (A) and outlet (B) should be on the same side as the power source for the filter system.
- The chosen site must be free of any objects beneath the pool that could damage or puncture the liner.
- Remove any aggressive plants or weeds, as they can grow through the liner. Clear all grass and vegetation to prevent odors and slime.
- Avoid placing the pool under electrical wires or tree branches. Verify that no underground utilities, pipes, or cables run beneath the chosen installation area.
- Keep the pool away from house entrances and other furniture to prevent water damage.
- Maintain at least 1.5 meters of clear space around the pool, free of walls, fences, or other structures, to prevent damage during use.
Recommended surfaces: Grass, soil, concrete, or any other surface meeting the above requirements.
Unsuitable surfaces: Mud, sand, gravel, wooden decks, balconies, driveways, raised platforms, soft/loose ground, or any surface not meeting the requirements.
Always check with local authorities for regulations regarding fencing, lighting, and other safety requirements. If a pump or ladder is included, consult their respective manuals for safety and installation instructions. The ladder must be appropriate for the pool size. If the pool needs to be moved during installation, lift it; do not drag it, as dragging the PVC liner can cause damage. Damage resulting from improper site selection is not covered under warranty.
Installation
Assembly
The assembly instructions are primarily visual. Assembly typically takes 2-3 people approximately 20-30 minutes, excluding filling time. No tools are required for frame assembly. To extend the pool's lifespan, it is recommended to powder the top rail with talcum powder (not included) before assembly. Bestway is not responsible for damage caused by mishandling or failure to follow instructions. For easier assembly, it is advised to set up the pool when the ambient temperature is above 15°C (59°F), as the PVC material will be more flexible.
Filling the Pool with Water
- Do not leave the pool unattended while filling.
- Fill the pool only after all assembly steps are complete.
- Fill the pool to the weld line, which corresponds to 90% of its full capacity.
- Avoid overfilling, as this can lead to pool collapse. During heavy rain, reduce the water level to prevent overflow.
- Once filled, check that the water level is uniform relative to the top rail around the entire perimeter. If there are variations, it indicates the ground is not level; in this case, drain the water and re-level the ground.
- Leaving a filled pool on an unlevel surface can cause liner rupture or structural collapse, potentially leading to serious injury or property damage.
Maintenance
Proper maintenance is crucial for the health and safety of users, especially children.
Water Quality
Maintaining clean and chemically balanced pool water is essential. Filter cleaning alone is insufficient. Use pool chemicals and chlorine/bromine tablets in a dispenser (avoid granules directly in the water). Water quality is influenced by usage frequency, number of users, and overall maintenance. If no chemicals are used, change the water every three days. Using tap water for filling is recommended to minimize unwanted substances like minerals. Shower before entering the pool to reduce cosmetic products and other residues that can degrade water quality. Regularly clean the pool to prevent dirt accumulation. Consider using a bucket of water for rinsing feet before entering the pool.
Damage to the pool due to improper chemical use or poor water maintenance is not covered by the warranty. Excessive chemical use can cause discoloration, stains, or even damage the liner's structure. Pool chemicals are toxic and must be handled with care; improper handling or storage can pose serious health risks. Consult your local pool supplier for chemical maintenance information and always follow the chemical manufacturer's instructions. The pump circulates and filters small particles; however, chemicals are necessary for hygienic water.
Recommended Water Parameters

Liner Care
It is recommended to use a pool cover when the pool is not in use to protect the Duraplus material on the top rails from damage. Gently wipe any dirt from the top rails with a clean cloth. Ensure the water level is at its maximum before attaching the pool cover.
Disassembly and Storage
Draining
Follow the draining instructions provided in the manual's illustrations. Be aware of and comply with local regulations regarding water drainage.
Cleaning
Rinse the pool liner with tap water, ensuring all chemical residues and dirt are completely removed. Allow the pool to dry completely in the sun. Use a dry cloth to remove any remaining water from the liner.
Storage
Before storing, disassemble all pool accessories. Ensure both the pool liner and all accessories are thoroughly cleaned and dried. If the pool is not completely dry, mold can form and damage the liner during storage. Once dry, powder the liner with talcum powder to prevent the material from sticking together. It is strongly recommended to disassemble the pool if the ambient temperature drops below 10°C (50°F). Store the pool in a dry place with temperatures between 10°C and 38°C (50-100°F). Place the liner and all accessories in a cardboard box to protect the PVC material during the winter months.
Repairs
For water leaks, use the included adhesive repair patch on the inner side of the pool liner. Further instructions can be found in the FAQ section of the Bestway support website.
