Installation Notice

This product should be installed onto the windshield in order to obtain the best view of the front traffic. However, some states prohibit drivers from mounting devices on the windshield or on certain areas of the windshield. It is the owner's responsibility to mount and use this device in compliance with local laws.

For the safety of your life and the lives of others, please do not watch videos or operate in-car video players while driving your vehicle. State regulations prohibit watching videos and operating in-car video players while driving a vehicle.

Electronic products are updated and upgraded quickly. Such as hardware and software upgrades, the operating interface has changed without notice; the actual machine operation shall prevail.

A. Installation guide

  1. Turn off the car engine.
  2. Insert the TF card correctly into the recorder card slot. [Note] Please use genuine high-speed TF card (Class10 U3 and above), capacity is not less than 8GB, maximum support 128G.
  3. Fix the recorder in place on the windshield of the car.
  4. Connect the vehicle power cord to the cigarette lighter port.
  5. Connect the power cord to the Type-C connector of the recorder. [Note] When wiring, the vehicle power cord can be laid along the edge of the windshield.
  6. Install the rear camera near the rear license plate of the vehicle and pay attention to the direction when installing it. Wiring can be routed along the roof of the vehicle, and after installation, connect the rear view plug to the rear view interface of the recorder.
  7. Adjust the angle of the lens to ensure that the lens is level with the ground.
  8. Start the engine and check if the machine is installed correctly. [Note] When the machine is installed correctly, the machine starts to enter the recording state, and the video indicator flashes.

B. WIFI interconnection

Scan the QR code above to download the APP, or enter Setting, WIFI interface on the machine and scan the code to download the Mobile Connected APP.

Turn on the WIFI switch on your cell phone, find the machine WIFI name: S3-XXX, enter the password 12345678, you can enter the Wind Recorder APP on your cell phone to carry out interconnection operation.

Note: When connecting the device WIFI, the cell phone pop-up box prompts whether to use the WIFI network; point to confirm the choice before you can carry out the interconnection operation.

C. Key function description

Confirm key/toggle key

Function 1: Confirm key

When inserting a TF card that does not match the machine, it will automatically pop up a window to prompt formatting. After short pressing the key to confirm the formatting, the video can be recorded normally.

Function 2: Switch key

In standby preview and recording mode, a short press can switch the display date, WIFI information, and QR code APP.

Function 3: Switch

Press and hold 5S to turn on and off.

The audio and videos recorded by the dashcam are for reference only. The following situations may damage or lose recorded footages:

  1. Pulling out the SD card while recording may cause the last recorded file to be lost.
  2. The last image or video may be damaged or lost if the dashcam suddenly loses power.
  3. If the vehicle experiences a major collision, the dashcam may be damaged, thus the files and data may also be damaged or lost.
  4. Major collision during recording may cause the memory card to loosen or disconnect, which may lead to data loss. [Company name] is not liable for any type of loss resulting from the use of this device.
  5. You should not set/install this dash cam at a place that would obstruct or reduce a driver's view; make sure your usage complies with pertinent vehicle codes of your state, province, territory, or country.
