StarLink Edge TV Streamer

Pairing
The StarLink Edge TV Streamer must be paired to interact with compatible 2.4 GHz hearing aids with the G2 Neuro Processor. Pairing occurs once, then the hearing aids and TV Streamer will automatically recognize each other. The TV Streamer can be paired within the fitting software or outside of the fitting software.
Pairing within Pro Fit
- Launch Pro Fit and connect hearing aids.
- Select Accessories from the Preparation Session in Pro Fit or from the Flyout Menu ☰.
- Select How to Pair Accessories for pairing instructions if needed.
- Ensure the TV Streamer is powered on.
- Place the hearing aids within six inches of the TV Streamer.
- Place the TV Streamer in pairing mode with a short press of the pairing button. The LED will blink green.
- Select + to put the hearing aids into pairing mode.
- Pairing is successful when the TV Streamer image displays in the accessory screen.
- Use the dropdown menu below the TV Streamer to set “Hearing Aid Mic While Streaming”.
- Use the dropdown menu below the TV Streamer to optimize streaming sound. Options are Equalized (default), Treble Boost, Bass Boost, and Overall Boost.
Pairing outside of Pro Fit
- Power off any mobile phone or other accessories that were previously paired with the hearing aids.
- Ensure the TV Streamer is powered on.
- Power off, then power on the hearing aids to place in pairing mode.
- Place the hearing aids within six inches of the TV Streamer.
- Place the TV Streamer in pairing mode with a short press of the pairing button. The LED will blink green.
- Pairing is successful when the green light is solid. The TV Streamer will recognize if the fitting is monaural or binaural and pair one or two hearing aids accordingly.
Basic Setup
The TV Streamer supports both analog and digital input and can be successfully connected to many electronic audio sources including televisions, computers, MP3 players, DVD players, and cable boxes.
Connections:
- (A) Power Supply Jack (USB-C)
- (B) TOSLINK Jack
- (C) Analog 3.5mm Jack
Setup Steps:
- Remove the plastic caps from each end of the TOSLINK cable.
- Plug the TOSLINK cable into the Audio OUT jack of the electronic audio source. If there is no TOSLINK audio OUT jack, use a 3.5mm-to-RCA cable.
- Power on the electronic audio source.
- Plug the other end of the TOSLINK cable into the rear of the TV Streamer.
- Plug the power adapter into the wall socket.
- Insert the power adapter into the power supply jack on the back of the TV Streamer.
- The LED will blink white for 4.5 seconds. A solid white LED indicates the TV Streamer is on, but no audio is detected. A solid blue LED indicates the TV Streamer has detected audio and is streaming.

Use Your TV Streamer
An unlimited number of users can connect to the TV Streamer at one time, allowing them to share in the same listening experience.*
Volume: Streamed audio volume level can be adjusted via the hearing aid user control, remote control, or hearing aid mobile app.¹
Audio streaming may be started/stopped in several ways:
- Hearing aid user control: Push & Hold or Double Tap
- Remote control: Favorite Button
- Hearing aid mobile app
Audio streaming will stop when:
- The TV Streamer is powered off.
- A phone call via direct mobile phone connection is received. After the phone call concludes, all streaming stops. If desired, the TV stream will need to be manually restarted.
- If the user momentarily walks out of range of the TV Streamer (Up to 50 feet or 15 meters) streaming stops, but will restart when back within range. If out of range for a longer period of time, the TV Stream will need to be manually restarted.
Use Your TV Streamer with other Bluetooth Low Energy (LE) Audio-enabled hearing aids
- Turn on the TV Streamer.
- On the LE Audio compatible smartphone, navigate to the available Auracast broadcast stream screen.
- Choose the TV-XXXXXX.
- When prompted, enter the 8-digit number from the bottom of the TV Streamer. The label on the bottom of the TV Streamer will say Broadcast Name: TV-XXXXXX and Broadcast Code: XXXXXXXX.
NOTE: The user will need to search for and accept this broadcast stream each time they want to stream audio from the TV Streamer.
