Remote Control and Aircraft Battery Installation and Charging Instructions
1. Remote Control Battery Installing
Insert three AA batteries into the remote control's battery compartment, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated.
2. Drone Battery Charging
- Remove the battery from the aircraft.
- Connect the drone battery to the provided charging cable.
- Plug the USB charging cable into a USB power supply (5V, >=2A recommended).
- The indicator light on the charger will be on while charging and turn off upon completion.
Note: Use a power supply with standard output voltage 5V and current greater than or equal to 2A to avoid overloading the cable and battery. Flight time is approximately 15 minutes, charging time is approximately 120 minutes.
3. Installation and Startup of Aircraft Battery
Insert the fully charged battery into the drone's battery slot and press and hold the power switch until the aircraft lights up.
Aircraft Installing
1. Folding
The drone can be folded for portability. The arms fold inwards towards the body.
2. Installation of Aircraft Blades
Install the propellers onto the correct motor arms, matching the propeller marks (A/B) with the corresponding arm marks. Secure them with screws.
Remote Control Setup
1. Mobile Phone Rack
Extend the mobile phone holder from the remote control and clamp your smartphone securely.
2. Grip Installing
Attach the controller grips to the designated positions on the remote control for a better grip.
3. Pairing
Turn on the aircraft and place it on a flat surface. The aircraft indicator lights will flash. Then, turn on the remote control. The drone and remote control will pair automatically. Pairing is successful when the remote control emits a "beep" sound after 2-3 seconds.
Note: GPS mode is default. Indoor mode cannot be selected if GPS signal is detected.
4. Gyroscope Calibration
Before flight, calibrate the gyroscope. Briefly press the gyroscope calibration button on the remote. The aircraft indicator lights will flash, indicating calibration is in progress. Calibration is complete when the lights stop flashing.
5. Geomagnetic Calibration
After gyroscope calibration, press and hold the gyroscope/geomagnetic calibration button for 2 seconds. The aircraft's tail light will flash, indicating geomagnetic calibration. Rotate the aircraft horizontally 3-5 circles. After a "beep" sound from the remote, rotate the aircraft vertically. Another "beep...." sound confirms successful calibration.
6. One Key Takeoff / Landing
GPS Mode: After acquiring at least 12 GPS signals, push the left stick to the bottom-left corner and the right stick to the bottom-right corner. The motors will start rotating. Press the one-key takeoff button to lift off.
Indoor Mode: After pairing, long press the Indoor mode button to switch from GPS mode (screen shows "GPS OFF"). Then, push the left stick to the bottom-left corner and the right stick to the bottom-right corner. The motors will start rotating. Press the one-key takeoff button to lift off.
Emergency Stop: Long press the one-key takeoff/landing button to activate an emergency stop if the drone is at an altitude not higher than 2m.
Notes:
- In GPS mode, one-key landing is available when altitude is below 10m and flight distance is less than 5m.
- The drone powers off automatically after 8 minutes of inactivity.
- The remote control powers off automatically after 20 minutes of inactivity.
Safety Reminder: Stay away from rotating propellers and motors.
Controller Joystick Operations
Throttle (left joystick)
Pushing the left joystick up increases altitude (ascend), pulling it down decreases altitude (descend).
Rotation (left joystick)
Pushing the left joystick left rotates the drone counter-clockwise, pushing it right rotates it clockwise.
Forward and Backward (right joystick)
Pushing the right joystick forward moves the drone forward, pulling it backward moves it backward.
Left and Right Side Flight (right joystick)
Pushing the right joystick left moves the drone to the left, pushing it right moves it to the right.
Headless Mode (Only Indoor mode)
In headless mode, the drone's orientation is disregarded. The forward direction is determined by the direction the drone's camera is facing when pairing is completed. This mode is only available in Indoor mode.
Direction Definition Before Take-off: Position the drone with its camera facing forward. Turn on the remote control and complete the 2.4G frequency pairing. This sets the forward direction for the flight.
Activating Headless Mode During Flight: Press the headless mode button. The remote control will emit a continuous sound, and the aircraft lights will flash rapidly. To exit headless mode, press the button again; the remote control will emit a "beep" sound.
Notes:
- Headless mode cannot be activated in GPS mode.
- Ensure the drone's forward direction is correctly set before activating headless mode.
Speed Switch
Short press: Cycles through speed gears. Gear 1 is the default. Two beeps indicate Gear 2, three beeps indicate Gear 3. One beep returns to Gear 1.
Note: Gear 1 is the only available speed in indoor mode. Beginners are advised to start with Gear 1.
Camera Pitch Control
Use the remote control's steering gear control key to adjust the camera's shooting angle:
- Press the camera lens electric up button to slowly move the camera angle upwards. Release to stop.
- Press the camera lens electric down button to slowly move the camera angle downwards. Release to stop.
Caution: Do not touch the gimbal.
Obstacle Avoidance Mode (Only for Indoor mode)
This function activates automatically when the drone is in indoor mode. Ensure at least 3 meters of clear space around the drone before takeoff.
When activated, the aircraft indicator flashes slowly, flight speed reduces, and the drone emits a "beep" alarm sound when approaching obstacles. It will hover at a safe distance to ensure flight safety.
The drone detects obstacles within approximately 1.5 meters.
One Key Return to Home (RTH)
The Return to Home function brings the drone back to its takeoff point (Home Point).
Failsafe RTH
If the remote control signal is lost during flight, the remote control will emit a "beep" alarm sound, and the drone will automatically initiate the return procedure. You can exit Failsafe RTH by pressing the "Return to Home" button or pushing the Throttle Joystick if the controller signal is recovered.
Warning: During Failsafe Return, the drone cannot avoid obstacles.
Low Voltage RTH
When the low voltage symbol appears on the controller screen, First Low Voltage RTH is triggered, accompanied by a "beep" alarm. The drone returns automatically under these conditions:
- Condition A: If flight distance exceeds 20m, the drone enters an electronic fence (20m altitude x 20m distance) and maintains its current distance before exiting RTH. If distance is exactly 20m, it stays at current distance and exits RTH.
- Condition B: If flight altitude is higher than 20m, the drone maintains its current height and enters the electronic fence (20m altitude x 20m) before exiting RTH. If altitude is lower than 20m, it ascends to 20m and enters the fence before exiting RTH.
Notes for First Low Voltage RTH:
- If flight altitude is below 40m, the drone ascends to 40m, flies back, and descends to 20m.
- If flight altitude is above 40m, the drone maintains current altitude, flies back, and descends to 20m.
When the drone's lights flash rapidly and a specific symbol appears, along with a "beep-beep" alarm, Second Low Voltage RTH is triggered, and the drone returns automatically.
Notes for Second Low Voltage RTH:
- Drone cannot ascend or descend; the right joystick can be used to adjust landing position.
- The drone cannot avoid obstacles.
