Important Safety Information

  1. Do not exceed Scale's 110 LB./1760 OZ. / 50,000 G / 50 kg max. weight capacity. An "ERR” will appear on digital display if scale is overloaded.
  2. Do not expose scale to vibration, extreme temperatures or moisture.
  3. Do not mix old and new batteries. Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries. Position batteries in proper polarity. Do not use swollen or leaking batteries.
  4. This product is not a toy. Do not allow children to play with or near this item.
  5. Weight readings are for household use only. Do not use for commerce or trade.
  6. Inspect before every use; do not use if parts are loose or damaged.

Functions

The scale features the following buttons:

The display shows the weight and unit of measurement. The maximum capacity is 110 LB with an accuracy of 0.1 OZ.

Operating Instructions

WARNING: Read the ENTIRE IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION section at the beginning of this document including all text under subheadings therein before set up or use of this product.

Installing/Replacing Batteries

  1. Remove battery compartment cover from digital display unit.
  2. Insert batteries into battery compartment. Position batteries in proper polarity.
  3. Replace battery compartment cover.

Using Adapter

  1. Connect the cord to the display unit and the scale.
  2. Connect the USB-C power cable to the display unit and to the receptacle located at the rear of the Scale.
  3. Plug the Adapter into 120VAC grounded outlet.

Using Batteries

  1. Connect the cord to the display unit and the scale.

Operation

  1. Plug the supplied cable into display unit and rear of scale.
  2. Put the scale on a flat level surface before weighing any items.
  3. Press the POWER button once. When "0" appears on the display, the Scale is ready for weighing.
  4. If the number shown is not "0" before weighing, press TARE button to reset to "0". The default unit is lb./oz.
  5. Press MODE to select the measuring unit. The scale will automatically switch to kg when the weight is larger than 1000g.
  6. Gently place item to be weighed in the middle of platform. The weight will appear on the display.

NOTE: "ERR” will appear on display if scale is overloaded and will power off after 10 seconds. Units are automatically saved after powering off.

Hold Button

  1. Press HOLD button to lock the weight. The LED will show "hold" in the upper left corner.
  2. Press HOLD again to unlock or it will automatically unlock after 60 seconds.
  3. To turn off Scale, press POWER button. If using batteries, the scale will turn off in 90 seconds if there is no operation.

Tare Button

  1. To weigh item in a container, place container on Scale and press TARE button.
  2. Add item to container.

Calibration

  1. Place the Scale on a flat and stable surface.
  2. Press and hold the MODE and POWER buttons until random numbers are on the display.
  3. Press POWER button again, the screen will display “2Ero”.
  4. Press MODE button to choose the weight of calibration weight. Default is 5 lb. Press TARE and HOLD buttons to adjust weight of calibration weight, if different than 5 lb.
  5. Place the 5 lb. Calibration Weight on the center of the platform.
  6. Wait until "CAL” and "PASS” are displayed.
  7. If calibration is successful, the scale will return to Weighing Mode.

Note: If calibration is unsuccessful, repeat calibration process or have qualified technician calibrate scale. Do Not turn Scale off during the Calibration process.

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Causes Likely Solutions
Display flashes battery symbol in lower left corner. Batteries are low. Replace batteries
Display flashes “LO”. Batteries are low. Replace batteries or use adapter to ensure accuracy.
Display doesn't respond to controls. Circuit needs to be reset. Remove batteries, wait 30 seconds, replace batteries and turn scale “ON”.
Display does not show. Battery has poor connection or battery voltage is too low. Take batteries out and adjust connections. Replace batteries as necessary or use Adapter.

Harbor Freight Tools Co. shall in no event be liable for death, injuries to persons or property, or for incidental, contingent, special or consequential damages arising from the use of our product. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation of exclusion may not apply to you.

THIS WARRANTY IS EXPRESSLY IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS.

To take advantage of this warranty, the product or part must be returned to Harbor Freight Tools Co. with transportation charges prepaid. Proof of purchase date and an explanation of the complaint must accompany the merchandise. If Harbor Freight Tools Co.'s inspection verifies the defect, they will either repair or replace the product at their election or may elect to refund the purchase price if they cannot readily and quickly provide you with a replacement. Harbor Freight Tools Co. will return repaired products at their expense, but if they determine there is no defect, or that the defect resulted from causes not within the scope of their warranty, then you must bear the cost of returning the product.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
