Instructions for Oiling

To ensure easy running and prevent unnecessary wear of parts in movable contact, the machine requires oiling. Use "TYPE C" OIL, sold by Singer Sewing Machine Company.

Before starting the machine: Fill the reservoir to the "high" mark on the sight gauge, as instructed in Form 3093W.

Check the oil level when the machine is not running. Never allow the level to drop below the "low" mark on the sight gauge.

The addition of oil should not be necessary more than once every few months.
