Visual Description: App screenshots illustrate navigating to the 'Scene' menu and the scene creation interface.
Refer to "Timing the heater" for detailed steps on setting temperatures at different times.
Timing the Heater
Timing works by sending a command to the heater at a scheduled time. This command sets the heater's thermostat temperature for desired On and Off times.
Recommended Settings:
- Set thermostat around 18 degrees when the room needs to be warm.
- Set around 10 degrees for anti-frost or away mode when the room is not in use.
You can create multiple commands to set various time intervals as needed.
Scheduling Steps:
- Press "Create Scene".
- Press "Schedule".
- Press "Next" to continue.
- Select the days you want the schedule to apply to. Press '<' to return if needed.
- Enter the desired time for the command and press "repeat".
- Press "Add Task".
- Press "Run the device".
- Select the device you wish to program by pressing its name.
Visual Description: A series of app screenshots detail the scheduling process from creating a scene to selecting the device.
Setting Functions:
- Select "Switch" and choose "On", then Save.
- Press "Set Temperature".
- Select the desired temperature for that time and press Save to continue.
- Once "Switch" and "Set Temperature" values are entered, press "Next".
- You will arrive at a screen where you can rename the command (e.g., "9 am turn on").
- You can also choose to command another device at the same time.
- Press "Save" to finish.
Visual Description: App screenshots show setting the ON/OFF switch, temperature, and saving the timed command.
A second scene is needed to switch the heater off or to a lower room temperature (anti-frost mode). Otherwise, the heater will maintain the first temperature set.
This process allows you to time the heater. Repeat this process to schedule more temperatures or ON/OFF times.
Important Notes:
- When switching the heater ON, a temperature must also be set; otherwise, "Boot Heating" will be enabled.
- If the Switch is set to OFF, a temperature cannot be set as the heater will be in standby mode.
